Getting Married in Laughlin

Resting on the banks of the Colorado River, set amongst the serene Nevada desert, Laughlin provides some of the most picturesque wedding locations available at prices that any newlyweds could appreciate. The area’s spectacular desert beauty coupled with its relaxed atmosphere and more than enough recreational opportunities makes Laughlin a great destination for your guests, turning this event into a exciting vacation for everyone.

Here are some places to contact for wedding information. I hope this will get you off into the right direction. I have no personal info on these companies, although I've heard that the "Laughlin River Tours" is the best. I've also been told that the Colorado Belle, Flamingo Hilton, and the Riverside Resort are also good. Marriage licenses are available at the Clark County Courthouse in Laughlin, NV.

NOTE: Weddings aboard cruise boats require an Arizona marriage license. Please contact the cruise ship directly for additional information, requirements and assistance.

For a different twist, plan your wedding on Old #7, our narrow gauge train. With an open private car, you and your guests enjoy a unique yet meaningful wedding celebration.

Marriage License Bureau

To purchase a marriage license, both parties must appear before the marriage license bureau at the Clark County clerk's office. License fee $55.00 USD

Anyone 18 or older does not need consent. However, proof of age may be requested. Anyone between the ages of 16 and 18 must have the written consent of either parent or legal guardian. In extraordinary circumstances, the Nevada District Court may grant the marriage of a person less than 16.

Blood tests are not required, no waiting period.

Divorces must be final in the state where granted. The date of the final decree and the city and state where granted are required.
