Crude Map Of Christmas Tree Pass Road and Grapevine Canyon Rd.

From the Casinos: Go north on Casino Drive to Nevada State Hwy 163. Turn left onto St 163 follow it west approx 6 miles to the Christmas Tree Pass Road. Turn right onto Christmas Tree Pass Road and follow it approx. 2 miles (dirt road) to Grapevine Canyon. Turn left onto Grapevine Canyon Road follow it approx 1/4 mile to parking area. Hike west along a well beaten trail to see the petroglyphs.

To drive to Spirit Mountain follow Christmas Tree Pass Road approx. 5 miles. There are no signs, no designated parking, no water, no services at all. Portable restroom available at Grapevine Canyon parking area only.

Only well prepared experienced adventurers should hike in this area. Never hike alone, leave note in car with details of your plans. Always let someone known you are going to this desolate area. Stay on main dirt roads. Off road travel is not allowed in this area. Always think safety first.
