AGGRAVATED ASSAULT/BURGLARY – CHLORIDE
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Robert Patrick Hartigan, 45, of Fort
Mohave, Tuesday (3/28) evening for aggravated assault and burglary, felonies.
Approximately 8:20 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the 4900 block
of Schuylkill in Chloride and contacted the 55-year-old male victim. The victim
reported that Hartigan came into his residence without permission and started
hitting him. The victim further reported that Hartigan smashed the passenger
side of his vehicle as he was leaving his residence. Deputies observed injuries
to the victim. The victim refused medical treatment. Hartigan left the area
driving a brown and tan van with chrome rims. At about 9:30 p.m., deputies
observed the vehicle in the area of Highway 95 and El Rodeo in Mohave Valley.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop and contacted Hartigan. Deputies observed
injuries to Hartigan’s face. During conversations with Hartigan, he admitted to
being in Chloride earlier and that he was assaulted by a male subject. Hartigan
was taken into custody without incident. Hartigan was transported and booked
into the Mohave County District II Substation.
WARRANTS ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Alan Fredrick Green Jr., 36, of
Kingman, Sunday (3/26) morning on a felony warrant for criminal damage and four
misdemeanor warrants; failure to pay fines and three failure to appear, all
warrants issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 12:20 a.m., deputies
contacted a male subject, later identified as Green, walking in the area of
Tommie Drive and Neal Avenue. A record check showed Green to have outstanding
warrants. Green was taken into custody without incident. Green was transported
and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
SCAMS – KINGMAN & GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public of a telephone scam.
Victims have reported receiving telephone calls from Publisher’s Clearing House
saying that they have won $250,000. The caller asks for $500 in order to claim
their prize. The incident is believed to be an attempted scam and the Sheriff’s
Office would like to caution residents. Always be cautious when it comes to
giving personal information. If you suspect fraud, contact your local law
enforcement office.
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public of a service scam. A
reporting party advised that he received a phone call from a subject claiming
that he was from the water company and that he would be coming out to do
inspections. The reporting party confirmed with the water company that they are
not conducting inspections. Always be cautious when it comes to giving personal
information. Contact your local law enforcement office when you suspect a
trespasser on your property.
2 X’S JUVENILE REFERRALS – KINGMAN
During an investigation Mohave County Sheriff’s Deputies have charged Jacob
Allan Green, 12, and David Penrod, 13, both from Kingman, with cruelty to
animals and criminal damage, misdemeanors. Approximately 6:00 p.m., deputies
responded to the 4100 block of N. Van Nuys in reference to a juvenile problem.
Deputies contacted the 49-year-old male victim. The victim reported that he was
informed by his neighbors that two juveniles shot one of his geese with a
paintball gun and a B.B. gun. Deputies observed pink paint on three geese. One
of the geese was heavily covered in pink paint and was injured with blood on its
chest. Deputies contacted a witness. The witness reported seeing two male
subjects, later identified as Green and Penrod, fire several shots at a goose.
Deputies contacted Green and Penrod. Deputies learned the paintball gun belonged
to Green and the B.B. gun belonged to Penrod. Juvenile referrals have been
submitted on both juveniles to the Mohave County Juvenile Probation.
FRAUD/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jaymi Lee Bruce, 20, and Reechad Jamal
McCampbell, 23, both from Lake Havasu City, Monday (3/27) afternoon. Bruce was
arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony, and McCampbell was
arrested for fraudulent schemes and artifices, a felony. Deputies observed a
Ford F-150 pickup truck with a broken windshield. Approximately 2:41 p.m.,
deputies conducted a traffic stop at North Palo Verde and Lake Havasu Avenue.
Deputies contacted the driver and two passengers identified as Bruce and
McCampbell. Deputies recognized McCampbell as he is a suspect in a fraudulent
case reported on 3-1-06. McCampbell was taken into custody without incident.
Deputies got consent to search Bruce’s purse. Deputies located a glass pipe with
residue. During conversations with Bruce, she said the pipe was hers. Bruce was
taken into custody without incident. The driver was given a written warning for
the broken windshield. Bruce and McCampbell were transported and booked into the
Mohave County District III Substation.
ASSAULT – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Bradley James Atkinson, 41, of Lake
Havasu City, Monday (3/27) evening for assault, a misdemeanor. Approximately
7:08 a.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the 3800 block of London
Bridge Road. Deputies contacted Atkinson. During conversations with Atkinson, he
said that he and a neighbor got into a physical fight over his loud stereo.
Atkinson further said that he struck his neighbor several times after being
provoked. Deputies contacted the 44-year-old male victim. The victim reported
that Atkinson attached him over Atkinson’s loud stereo. Atkinson was taken into
custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District III Substation.
DUI – DOLAN SPRINGS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Gabriel Alvarado Gonzales, 33, of
Dolan Springs, early Monday (3/27) evening for DUI and DUI with a blood alcohol
concentration over .08%, misdemeanors. Approximately 5:31 p.m., deputies
responded to a non-injury accident in the 18000 block of Laurel Road and
contacted the reporting party. The reporting party said that she saw a male
subject get out of a red Isuzu pick-up truck after crashing into her fence.
Deputies contacted the male subject identified as Gonzales. Deputies smelled an
odor of alcohol on Gonzales. During conversations with Gonzales, he admitted to
have been drinking. Gonzales was taken into custody without incident. He was
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from
the scene.
WARRANT ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Latoya Rana Jackson, 30, of
Bakersfield, Calif., late Friday (3/24) morning on a fugitive from justice
felony warrant issued out of California. Approximately 11:28 a.m., deputies
contacted Jackson at the corner of Camp Mohave and Highway 95. A record check
showed Jackson to have an outstanding warrant. Jackson was taken into custody
without incident. Jackson was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested James Effrim Valenzuela, 45, of Mohave
Valley, early Friday (3/24) evening on a fugitive from justice felony warrant
issued out of Sierra County New Mexico on original charge of aggravated assault
with a deadly weapon. Approximately 5:47 p.m., while deputies were en route to
an unrelated call in the 1800 block of South Drive, they observed a male subject
identified as Valenzuela standing in the yard of that residence. Deputies knew
Valenzuela to have an outstanding warrant. Deputies contacted Valenzuela. A
record check confirmed Valenzuela’s warrant. Valenzuela was taken into custody
without incident. Valenzuela was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested James Allen Grenke, 41, of Mohave
Valley, Friday (3/24) evening for criminal damage, a misdemeanor. Approximately
10:00 p.m., deputies responded to the 4500 block of Calle Valle Vista regarding
an intoxicated male subject causing a disturbance by throwing rocks at his
neighbors. Deputies located the male subject, later identified as Grenke. During
conversations with Grenke, he said that he was mad at his neighbors. Deputies
contacted a 35-year-old male victim. The victim reported that Grenke grabbed a
handful of rocks at threw them toward his Ford truck causing damage to the right
side of the vehicle. Grenke was taken into custody without incident. Grenke was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
AGGRAVATED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Albert Velasquez Jr., 40, of Mohave
Valley, early Saturday (3/25) evening for disorderly conduct/aggravated domestic
violence a felony. Approximately 6:43 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance
in the 7400 block of Harquahala Drive and contacted the 66-year-old female
victim. The victim reported that Velasquez was yelling and throwing empty beer
cans toward her. Deputies located Velasquez lying down in a nearby field. During
conversations with Velasquez, he said that he was not hiding in the field.
Further conversations with Velasquez, he denies yelling or acting in a
disorderly manner. A history check showed Velasquez to have past domestic
violence incidents. Velasquez was taken into custody without incident. Velasquez
was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
WARRANTS ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Richard Kevin Clement, 18, of Kingman,
Sunday (3/26) morning on two warrants, a felony and misdemeanor, for marijuana
violation both issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Approximately 6:15 a.m.,
deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 66 near Gordon Drive and contacted
Clement, the driver. A record check showed Clement to have outstanding warrants.
Clement was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked
into the Mohave County Jail.
SEXUAL ASSAULT – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a sexual assault call early Friday
(3/24) morning at about 1:00 a.m. Deputies responded to the area of London
Bridge Road and Quartsite Lane and contacted the 55-year-old female victim. The
victim reported that as she was walking on London Bridge Road, around 11:30 p.m.
Thursday (3/23) evening, a vehicle pulled up along side of her and two men got
out and pulled her inside. The victim further reported that she was sexually
assaulted by the suspects inside the vehicle. MCSO is asking the public’s
assistance in locating the suspects and the vehicle. The suspects are described
as three white males in their early 20’s, all of average heights. The driver of
the vehicle is described as having tattoos all over both arms. The vehicle is a
newer model full sized 4-door extended cab dark in color truck with dark tinted
windows, gray interior with bucket seats and paper floor mats. The vehicle has a
black bed liner, shiny wheels and is lifted. An ATL (Attempt to Locate) has been
issued for the suspects and vehicle to local area law enforcement. Anyone with
any information on the suspects or vehicle is asked to contact Mohave County

AGGRAVATED DUI – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Daniel Joseph Greene, 40, of Lake
Havasu City, late Thursday (3/23) evening for aggravated DUI, a felony, along
with DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08% and extreme DUI with a
blood alcohol concentration over .15%, misdemeanors. Approximately 11:05 p.m.,
deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Mohican Drive and
contacted Greene, the driver. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Greene.
During conversations with Greene, he admitted to have been drinking. A record
check revealed Greene to have a suspended driver’s license for a prior DUI.
Greene refused to perform the field sobriety tests (FST’s) as requested by the
deputies. Greene was taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County
District III Substation where an analysis revealed his blood alcohol
concentration (BAC) to be .173%. He was booked into the jail without incident.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
WARRANT ARREST – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Krisandrea Lynn Cashen, 49, of Golden
Valley, late Thursday (3/23) evening on a felony warrant for failure to appear
issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 11:43 p.m., deputies contacted
Cashen in the 3600 block of Highway 68. A record check showed Cashen to have an
outstanding warrant. Cashen was taken into custody without incident. Cashen was
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANTS ARREST – OATMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Simmon Wesley Setzer, 21, of Oatman,
early Friday (3/24) morning on two felony warrants for possession of drug
paraphernalia issued by Bullhead City Justice Court and failure to appear issued
by Kingman Justice Court along with a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear
issued by Bullhead City Justice Court. Approximately 4:15 a.m., deputies
responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of Quail Road. Deputies contacted
Setzer at Quail Road and Frances. A record check showed Setzer to have
outstanding warrants. Deputies took Setzer into custody without incident. Setzer
was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
AGGRAVATED DUI – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Patrick Jay Porter, 54, of Kingman,
late Wednesday (3/22) evening for aggravated DUI, a felony. Approximately 10:30
p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2800 block of Northern Avenue and
contacted Porter, the driver. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Porter.
During conversations with Porter, he admitted to being drunk. A record check
revealed Porter to have a suspended driver’s. Porter was taken into custody and
transported to the Mohave County Jail where he refused to submit to a breath
analysis. Porter was booked into the jail without incident.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Colinna Mary Elizabeth Hartung, 34, of
Fort Mohave, early Wednesday (3/22) evening for aggravated domestic violence and
disorderly conduct, felonies. Approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies responded to a
disturbance in the 4400 block of Puerto Verde Drive and contacted Hartung.
During conversations with Hartung, she said that her husband started arguing
with her and he shoved her almost knocking her to the ground. Hartung further
said that her husband left. Deputies located Hartung’s husband in the 4200 block
of Calle Agrada and brought him back to the incident. During conversations with
Hartung’s husband, a 37-year-old victim, he said that as he was trying to leave
when Hartung grabbed him and he pushed her off of him. Deputies contacted a
witness and the witness said that Hartung was chasing the victim around the area
in her van. A computer check showed Hartung to have a history of domestic
violence. Hartung was taken into custody without incident. She was transported
and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
AGGRAVATED DUI – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Ronald David Groh, 52, of Desert
Hills, early Wednesday (3/22) evening for aggravated DUI, a felony, DUI, DUI
with a blood alcohol concentration over .08%, and open liquor container in
vehicle, misdemeanors. Approximately 6:30 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic
stop in the 400 block of London Bridge Road and contacted Groh, the driver.
Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Groh and observed open beers in the
vehicle. During conversations with Groh, he admitted to have been drinking. A
record check revealed Groh ‘s drivers license to be suspended. Following the
field sobriety tests (FST’s), Groh was taken into custody and transported to the
Mohave County District III Substation where an analysis revealed his blood
alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .100%. He was booked into the jail without
incident. The vehicle was released to a responsible party.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – YUCCA
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jamie Danielle Myers, 24, of Kingman,
Wednesday (3/22) evening for assault/domestic violence. Approximately 5:30 p.m.,
deputies responded to a domestic violence call in the 12300 block of 2nd Street
and contacted Myers. During conversations with Myers, she said that she and her
mother were arguing and during the course of the argument, she hit and pushed
her mother. Deputies contacted Myers’ mother, a 58-year-old victim. The victim
said that she was pushed down but didn’t think Myers meant anything by it. Myers
was taken into custody without incident. She was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District II Substation.
2X’S AGGRAVATED ASSAULT – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff's detectives arrested William Joseph Archer, 36, and Bobby
Charles Archer, 34, both from Kingman, late Tuesday (3/21) afternoon. William
Archer was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault, felonies. Bobby Archer
was arrested for unlawful use of means of transportation, a felony.
Approximately 1:00 p.m., deputies and detectives responded to the Kingman
Regional Medical Center regarding an assault where a man had been stabbed.
Detectives collected information from a Kingman Police officer who initially
responded to the incident. The 30-year-old male victim, of Kingman, was
unavailable to speak with the detectives as he was being treated by the medical
staff. Detectives contacted two witnesses who were at the scene. During
conversations, one of the witnesses told deputies that he wanted to speak to
Bobby Archer regarding his 1985 Nissan pickup truck being stolen. Two witnesses
and the male victim drove to a residence in the 9900 block of Avenida El Camino
to speak with Archer. While at the residence, they began to argue. During the
argument, one of the witnesses observed William Archer holding a bloody knife
and observed the victim bleeding. All three men left the residence and took the
victim to the hospital for treatment. Detectives also learned from the other
witness that during the altercation that he too had been injured, a laceration
to his hand. A short time later, deputies located the reported stolen Nissan
truck on Cherum Road at Jane Avenue. Upon further investigations with William
Archer and Bobby Archer, they were taken into custody without incident at the
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. William Archer and Bobby Archer were transported
and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH COURT ORDER – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Georgia Elizabeth James, 56, of Mohave
Valley, early Tuesday (3/21) evening for failure to comply with a court order, a
misdemeanor. Approximately 5:28 p.m., deputies responded to a violation of a
court order in the 1600 block of Vista Drive and contacted the 50-year-old male
victim. The victim reported that he has an order of protection against James.
The victim further reported that James came to his fence and started yelling at
him while he was outside in his yard. Deputies confirmed the order of protection
to be valid. Deputies contacted two witnesses and both witnesses said that James
was yelling at the victim. Deputies contacted James. During conversations with
James, she denied making contact with the victim. James was taken into custody
without incident. James was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation.
SEARCH AND RESCUE – WIKIEUP
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies, along with many agencies,
have responded early Monday morning to a remote area east of Wikieup regarding a
search. A witness reported seeing and hearing a plane crash. As of 11:30 a.m.,
Monday (3/20) the search continues and an actual plane has not been located or
confirmed. Furthermore, MCSO has been informed of an overdue Beech Bonanza plane
from Henderson, Nevada, to Scottsdale.

Game and Fish,
Bureau of Land Management and
Civil Air Patrol.
PLANE CRASH NAMES RELEASED
The pilot and passenger aboard the Beech Bonanza plane did not survive the
crash. The pilot is identified as John Kenneth Orms, 64, of Scottsdale, and the
passenger is identified as Russell Hunter Farb, 59, of Tucson.
AGGRAVATED DUI – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Sharell Lavonne Ralston, 47, and
Michael William Harsh, 44, both from Lake Havasu City, Friday (3/17) afternoon.
Ralston was arrested for aggravated DUI, a felony, and Harsh was arrested for
disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Approximately 4:15 p.m., deputies conducted a
traffic stop on Highway 95 at milepost 188 and contacted Ralston, the driver.
During conversations with Ralston, she admitted to have been drinking. A record
check revealed Ralston to have a suspended driver’s license. Ralston was taken
into custody. Harsh, the passenger of the vehicle, who also had been drinking,
attempted to get behind the wheel and drive the vehicle away. Deputies stopped
Harsh, before he took off in the vehicle and took him into custody without
incident. Ralston and Harsh were transported to the Mohave County District III
Substation. Ralson submitted to an analysis which revealed her blood alcohol
concentration (BAC) to be .251%. She was booked into the jail without incident.
Harsh was booked into the jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
RIOTING/RESISTING ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Rachanda Anona Bricker, 23, and
Anthony Ray Harrison, 41, both from Mohave Valley, early Sunday (3/19) evening.
Bricker was arrested for aggravated assault on law enforcement officer,
resisting arrest, rioting and endangerment, all felonies. Harrison was arrested
on two counts of resisting arrest, rioting and threatening or intimidating, and
endangerment, all felonies. Approximately 6:30 p.m., deputies responded along
with a deputy from the San Bernardino’s Sheriff’s Office to the Needles Bridge
in reference to two people blocking access to the bridge. Upon arrival, deputies
observed a red 1999 GMC Suburban blocking both the north and south bound lanes
of traffic on the Arizona side of the bridge. Deputies observed a male subject,
later identified as Harrison, at the front of the vehicle and a woman subject,
later identified as Bricker, at the back of the vehicle. Both subjects were
preventing traffic from passing their vehicle. Deputies further observed both
subjects yelling and they both appeared to be very agitated. Deputies contacted
Bricker and Harrison and attempted to convince them to leave, but Bricker and
Harrison both said that were not moving. Harrison got into a combative stance as
deputies approached him. While deputies were attempting to take Harrison into
custody, Bricker shoved the deputy from behind. As deputies were taking Bricker
into custody she continued to struggle as deputies restrained her. Harrison was
coming toward the deputies. A taser was eventually used to place Harrison into
custody after he continued to struggle. Medical responded and Harrison refused
treatment. Bricker and Harrison were transported to the Mohave County District
II Substation for booking and later transported to Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Sherri Ann Sutton, 30, of Bullhead
City, Monday (3/20) late afternoon on a child/vulnerable adult abuse felony
warrant issued by Bullhead City Justice Court and two misdemeanor warrants for
failure to pay fines issued by Kingman Justice Court and failure to appear
issued by Bullhead City Justice Court. Approximately 4:30 p.m., deputies
contacted Sutton as a passenger of a motorcycle stop on Calle Amigo at Calle
Veijo. A record check showed Sutton to have outstanding warrants. Sutton was
taken into custody without incident. Sutton was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District II Substation.
FATAL ACCIDENT – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a single vehicle injury accident
at Aztec and Shinarump Road early Monday (3/20) morning. Approximately 12:14
a.m., deputies responded to the scene of an accident where a 1991 Volvo had hit
an embankment on the south side of Shinarump Road, launching the vehicle into
the air. While Golden Valley Fire Department was en route to another call they
came across the accident and notified MCSO. The only occupant in the vehicle,
identified as James K. Hamlin Jr., 79, of Kingman, was transported to Kingman
Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
WARRANT ARREST – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Richard Lawrence Turk, 35, of Golden
Valley, Saturday (3/18) morning on a fugitive from justice felony warrant issued
out of Madison County Superior Court, Nebraska. Approximately 8:00 a.m.,
deputies contacted Turk at Bouse and Chino Road. A record check showed Turk to
have an outstanding warrant. Turk was taken into custody without incident. Turk
was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joseph Anthony Bertinetti Jr., 29, of
Lake Havasu City, Sunday (3/19) morning on a probation violation felony warrant
issued by Mohave County Superior Court and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to
pay fines issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court. Approximately 9:15 a.m.,
deputies contacted Bertinetti at a residence in the 900 block of Hunnington
regarding his outstanding warrants. Bertinetti was taken into custody without
incident. Bertinetti was transported and booked into the Mohave County District
III Substation.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michelle O’Sullivan, 21, of Golden
Valley, late Sunday (3/19) afternoon for possession of drug paraphernalia, a
felony. Approximately 3:50 p.m., deputies responded to a business located in the
3300 block of Andy Devine Avenue. Deputies contacted the reporting party. The
reporting party said that a customer left a purse inside the store. The
reporting party further said that while he was searching the purse for the
owner’s identification that he located a used glass pipe. Deputies located items
in the purse belonging to O’Sullivan. During conversations with the reporting
party, a customer identified as O’Sullivan came to the customer service desk for
her purse. During conversations with O’Sullivan, she said the purse belonged to
her but she was holding the pipe for a friend. O’Sullivan was taken into custody
without incident. O’Sullivan was transported and booked into the Mohave County
Jail.
AGGRAVATED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Vern Jay Huff, 40, of Bullhead City,
late Sunday (3/19) afternoon for disorderly conduct/aggravated domestic violence
a felony. Approximately 3:00 p.m., deputies responded to a threatening report in
the 1700 block of East Valley Road and contacted the 59-year-old male victim.
The victim reported that he and his son, Huff, got into an argument earlier at a
residence located in the 2100 East Mustang in Fort Mohave. The victim further
reported that Huff threatened him with a bat. Deputies contacted a witness which
confirmed the victims’ statements. At about 4:20 p.m., deputies contacted Huff
in the 1800 block of Rio Grande Road in Bullhead City. During conversations with
Huff, he said that he picked up the bat in self defense. A history check on Huff
revealed past domestic violence charges. Huff was taken into custody without
incident. Huff was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jamie Renne Zazzaro, 38, and Joseph
Lee Zazzaro, 60, both from Fort Mohave, late Sunday (3/19) afternoon. Both
Zazzaro’s were arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence, misdemeanors.
Approximately 4:21 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in progress in the
2300 block of River Valley Road. Deputies contacted Jamie Zazzaro and Joseph
Zazzaro. During conversations with Joseph Zazzaro, he said that he and his
daughter, Jamie, were arguing. He further said that he threw something on the
ground and Jamie started throwing many items throughout the house. During
conversations with Jamie Zazzaro, she admitted to arguing and throwing things
around the house. Deputies observed a disarray of items on the floor. Both
Zazzaro’s were taken into custody without incident. Both Zazzaro’s were
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Bernadine Clegg, 48, of Fort Mohave,
Thursday (3/16) morning on a misdemeanor warrant for domestic violence/assault
issued by Bullhead City Municipal Court. Approximately 7:47 p.m., deputies
responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 1500 block of Courtney Place and
contacted Clegg. During conversations with Clegg, she said that there was a
problem with her fax machine and it must have dialed the number accidentally. A
record check showed Clegg to have an outstanding warrant. Clegg was taken into
custody without incident. Clegg was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Andrew Stormy Rain, 27, of Fort
Mohave, Thursday (3/16) afternoon for disorderly conduct/domestic violence, a
felony. Approximately 2:50 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic disturbance
call in the 2000 block of El Rodeo Road and contacted the 59-year-old male
victim. The victim reported that he and his son, Rain, were arguing. The victim
further reported that Rain threatened him by holding two knifes in the air in a
threatening manner. Rain left walking through a field prior to the deputy’s
arrival. Shortly thereafter, deputies observed Rain walking in a dirt lot
nearby. Deputies took Rain into custody without incident. Rain was transported
and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jason Lloyd Carlton, 34, of Fort
Mohave, Wednesday (3/15) evening for endangerment/domestic violence, a felony,
and assault/domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Approximately 9:15 p.m., deputies
responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 4000 block of Highway 95 and
contacted the 35-year-old female victim. The victim reported that she and her
husband, Carlton, were arguing and he struck her in the face earlier at their
residence in the 4300 block of Calle Agrada. The victim further said that she
left walking and Carlton was following her in his vehicle with her 3-year-old
child. Deputies contacted Carlton. Deputies determined that Carlton did not have
the child restrained in a car seat. During conversations with Carlton, he denied
hitting the victim in the face. Carlton was taken into custody without incident.
Carlton was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Melanie Luverne Jones, 31, of Bullhead
City, Tuesday (3/14) morning on a felony warrant for marijuana violation and a
misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court, both issued by Bullhead City Justice
Court. Approximately 7:47 p.m., a deputy responded to Valley View Medical Center
in reference to a patient identified as Jones to have a felony warrant and was
being released from the hospital. Deputies contacted Jones and took her into
custody without incident. Jones was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT WITH A WEAPON – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Stephen Lowell Stone, 47, of Mohave
Valley, Wednesday (3/15) morning for disorderly conduct with a weapon, a felony.
Approximately 6:49 a.m., deputies responded to a business in the 4800 block of
Highway 95 regarding a male subject pulling a knife on a customer. Dispatch
informed deputies that the male subject was outside in front of the business.
Deputies contacted the male subject, identified as Stone, and detained him. A
search of Stone revealed a knife. Deputies contacted the manager of the
business. The manager said that he observed Stone pull a knife out of his pocket
and walk toward a customer in a threatening manner. The manager further said
that he told the suspect to leave and he escorted him out of the store. Deputies
contacted the 62-year-old male customer/victim. The victim reported that he met
Stone in the past. The victim further reported that Stone held a knife to his
chest. During conversations with Stone, he said that he felt threatened by the
victim and he admitted to holding the knife to the victim. Stone was taken into
custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation.
AGGRAVATED DUI – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Louis Eugene Smith Sr., 61, of Mohave
Valley, Wednesday (3/15) afternoon for aggravated DUI, a felony. Approximately
2:24 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Magellan Drive and Highway 95
and contacted Smith, the driver. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol coming from
inside the vehicle. During conversations with Smith, he admitted to have been
drinking earlier. A record check revealed Smith’s driving privileges to be
limited due to prior DUI. Following the field sobriety tests (FST’s), Smith was
taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County District II Substation
where an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .246%. He
was booked into the jail without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
2X’S SEXUAL CONDUCT WITH A MINOR – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Jacob Martin Myers, 18, of Fort
Mohave, late Monday (3/13) morning on two counts of sexual conduct with a minor,
felonies. On Friday (3/3) deputies contacted the reporting party. The reporting
party said that her 14-year-old daughter has been having sexual relations with a
guy, later identified as Myers. Detectives contacted the 14-year-old female
victim. The victim admitted to having sex with Myers. At about 11:10 a.m.,
detectives contacted Myers at a residence in the 5300 block of Pasadena Road.
During conversations with Myers, he admitted to having a sexual relationship
with the victim. Myers was taken into custody without incident. He was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Chantel Len Huffman, 30, of Mohave
Valley, Monday (3/13) afternoon for aggravated assault/domestic violence, a
felony. Approximately 3:33 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the 2000
block of Lone Star Drive. As deputies were approaching the residence they
observed a female subject, later identified as Huffman, walking down the street
with blood on her face, hands and arms. Deputies contacted Huffman. During
conversations with Huffman, she said that she and her sister had been arguing
and the argument escalated in a physical fight. Deputies escorted Huffman back
to the residence where the incident occurred. Deputies contacted Huffman’s
sister, a 40-year-old female victim. The victim said that Huffman hit her on her
face and bit her numerous times. Deputies observed bite marks on the victims’
chest and left arm. Huffman was taken into custody without incident. She was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
AGGRAVATED DUI – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jake Nathan Jacques, 34, of Mohave
Valley, Monday (3/13) evening for aggravated DUI and failure to remain at scene
of an injury accident, felonies. Approximately 7:15 p.m., deputies responded to
a delayed injury accident. Dispatch informed deputies that Jacques was driving a
three-wheel motorcycle with a passenger and that they were involved in a single
vehicle accident earlier in the area of Laguna Road and Mountain View. Deputies
contacted Jacques at a residence in the 2000 block of Lonestar Drive. Deputies
smelled an odor of alcohol on Jacques. During conversations with Jacques, he
admitted to drinking prior to riding the motorcycle. Deputies also contacted the
adult female passenger that was riding with Jacques at the time of the accident.
The female passenger said that she was injured as a result of the accident.
Jacques refused to perform the field sobriety tests (FST’s) as requested by the
deputies. Jacques was taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County
District II Substation where he also refused to submit to a breath analysis.
Jacques was booked into the jail without incident.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – GOLDEN SHORES
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Lawrence Darrow Dyer, 40, of Golden
Shores, early Tuesday (3/14) morning for custodial interference/domestic
violence, a felony. Approximately 2:39 a.m., deputies responded to a disturbance
in the 5300 block of Maricopa Drive and contacted the 39-year-old female victim.
The victim said that she and her boyfriend, Dyer, were arguing. The victim
further said that Dyer left the residence with her 6 month old baby without her
permission. While deputies were at the scene, the victim and Dyer were
conversing over the phone. Deputies spoke with Dyer. During conversations with
Dyer, he said that he was concerned for the baby and he agreed to bring the baby
back to the residence. Shortly thereafter, Dyer returned to the residence with
the infant. Dyer was taken into custody without incident. Dyer was transported
and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
SEXUAL ABUSE – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Robert Allen Pfeifle, 41, of Lake
Havasu City, early Tuesday (3/14) afternoon for sexual abuse, a felony. Late
Friday (3/10) evening deputies responded to a child molestation report of a
14-year-old female victim in the 2000 block of Quartzite Drive and contacted the
reporting party. The reporting party said that her daughter informed her that
her ex-stepfather, Pfeifle, molested her earlier that evening at his residence.
Upon further investigations, detectives contacted Pfeifle at about 1:35 p.m. at
a residence in the 2800 block of Barbara Drive. Pfeifle was taken into custody
without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County District
III Substation.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT – GOLDEN SHORES
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested David Scott Matthews, 40, of West
Point, Utah, Tuesday (3/14) afternoon for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.
Approximately 1:30 p.m., as deputies were approaching an intersection at Casa
Grande and Oatman Highway they observed a male subject, later identified as
Matthews, throwing rocks toward the deputy’s vehicle. Deputies further observed
Matthews walking north on the roadway; kicking and yelling. Matthews began
running as deputies approached him. Deputies contacted Matthews. Deputies
observed Matthews to be talking irrationally during conversations with him.
Matthews was taken into custody without incident. Matthews was transported and
booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT/UNLAWFUL FLIGHT – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Bonnie Jean Joe, 41, of Golden Valley,
Monday (3/13) evening for aggravated assault on law enforcement officer,
unlawful means of transportation and unlawful flight from law enforcement,
felonies. On Saturday (3/11) deputies took a report of a stolen vehicle in the
2300 block of View Point Road in Fort Mohave. Deputies contacted the 68-year-old
male victim. The victim reported that Joe had taken his green 1996 Chevrolet
pick-up truck without his permission. On Monday (3/13) at approximately 4:00
p.m., deputies located Joe in the reported stolen vehicle in a parking lot near
Stockton Hill Road and Andy Devine Avenue. Joe ignored deputy’s commands as she
drove northbound onto Andy Devine Avenue. Kingman Ranger, Department of Public
Safety helicopter, followed the vehicle as it continued northbound on Andy
Devine Avenue/Highway 66 toward Peach Springs. Hualapai Tribal Police Officers
set up spike strips at milepost 85. Joe pulled the vehicle over after the
vehicle’s right rear tire was flatten at milepost 85. Hualapai Tribal Police
Officers approached the vehicle and gave Joe commands to exit. Joe backed the
vehicle up for a short distance and then proceeded forward almost striking the
officer. The officer moved quickly, out of the vehicles path without getting
injured. Hualapai Tribal Police Officers along with Mohave County Sheriff’s
Deputies continued to follow the suspect north on Highway 66. At about milepost
102 the suspect and vehicle came to a stop when the right front tire became flat
after the vehicle ran over spike strips setup by Hualapai Tribal Police
Officers. Joe was taken into custody without further incident. A record check
showed Joe to have a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear issued by
Bullhead City Municipal Court on original charges of DUI. Joe was transported
and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed to Fort Mohave per
the owner’s request.
NAMES RELEASED OF HOMICIDE VICTIMS – DESERT SPRINGS (AZ
STRIP)
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is releasing the names of the double homicide
victims. The victims are identified as Desiree Ilene Towne, 40, and Edward Lyman
Waterbury, 37, both from Desert Springs. (Please refer to MCSO Media Release
dated 3-8-06).
WARRANT ARREST – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Thomas Dale Webb II, 25, of Desert
Hills, Wednesday (3/8) morning on a fugitive from justice felony warrant issued
out of Lassen County Superior Court in California. Approximately 10:24 a.m.,
deputies contacted Webb in the 2000 block of Sapphire Street regarding his
outstanding warrant. Webb was taken into custody without incident. He was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District III Substation
DOUBLE HOMICIDE – DESERT SPRINGS (AZ STRIP)
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives and deputies responded to a report of two
deceased people Tuesday (3/7) morning. Approximately 7:44 a.m., a woman came
into the Mohave County District IV Substation to report that she escaped from
being kidnapped and sexually assaulted by a male subject identified as Mel
Harris, 73, of Mesquite, Nevada. Detectives and deputies responded to a
residence in Desert Springs and located two deceased bodies with apparent gun
shot wounds. Both bodies, an adult female and an adult male, were located
outside the residence in a shallow grave. Harris was arrested for kidnapping and
sexual assault, both felonies. Additional charges are pending. Identification of
both victims has been made and is awaiting notification of next of kin. Autopsy
is pending and investigation is on-going.
WARRANTS ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff's detectives arrested Kenneth Wade Martin, 32, of Kingman,
late Tuesday (3/7) morning on a felony warrant for failure to appear issued by
Mohave County Superior Court on original charges of possession of marijuana and
possession of drug paraphernalia, along with a misdemeanor warrant for contempt
of court issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Detectives observed Martin walking
in the 1100 block of Andy Devine Avenue. Detectives knew Martin to have
outstanding warrants. Approximately 11:05 a.m., deputies contacted Martin
regarding his warrants. Martin was taken into custody without incident. Martin
was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Roger Eugene Fenske, 21, of Oatman,
Tuesday (3/7) evening on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines issued
by Bullhead City Justice Court. Approximately 10:45 p.m., deputies conducted a
traffic stop in the 4400 block of Highway 95 and contacted Fenske. A record
check showed Fenske to have an outstanding warrant. Fenske was taken into
custody without incident. Fenske was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation.
INTERFERENCE WITH AN EDUCATION FACILITY – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert Allen Cook Jr., 35, of Kingman,
Monday (3/6) afternoon for interference with an education facility, a felony,
and assault/domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Approximately 2:39 p.m., deputies
responded to a threatening situation at a school located in the 2600 block of
Jagerson Avenue. Dispatch informed deputies that a male subject identified as
Cook was going to the school to pickup his children and that he was going to
kill someone. The reporting party, later determined to be a 25-year-old female
victim, said that Cook, left with a handgun traveling in a white and green Ford
pick-up truck. For safety purposes, the school was placed on immediate lockdown.
Deputies were dispatched to the school and to the immediate area. At about 2:55
p.m. deputies observed the vehicle traveling westbound on Jagerson Avenue and
conducted a high risk traffic stop where Cook was taken into custody without
incident. The handgun was located and removed from Cooks’ jacket pocket. At
approximately 3:00 p.m. the school was released from lockdown status. Upon
further investigations, the victim reported that Cook assaulted her earlier at
their residence located in the 2900 block of McVicar Avenue. The victim further
reported that Cook was waving a gun around and that he was leaving to pickup
their children from school and she attempted to stop Cook when he head butted
her. During conversations with Cook, he said that he ran into the victim
accidentally. Cook was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Althea Colleen Bradley, 34, of
Bullhead City, Monday (3/6) morning on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to
appear issued by Bullhead City Municipal Court. Approximately 6:35 a.m.,
deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 4400 block of Highway 95 and contacted
Bradley. A record check showed Bradley to have an outstanding warrant. Bradley
was taken into custody without incident. She was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District II Substation.
DRUGS – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Eric Edward Cataldo, 34, of Bullhead
City, and Jessica Rae Black, 23, of Fort Mohave, Monday (3/6) evening. Cataldo
was arrested for possession of marijuana, a felony, and Black was arrested for
possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. Deputies observed suspicious activity
of a van driving behind Safeway near the truck docks. Approximately 11:00 p.m.,
deputies conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot at Highway 95 and Aztec
Road. Deputies contacted Cataldo, the driver and Black, the passenger. Deputies
got consent to search the vehicle. The search revealed two plastic bags; one
containing marijuana and the other containing a white crystal substance which
field tested positive for methamphetamine. During conversations with Cataldo, he
said the marijuana was his and the methamphetamine belonged to Black. During
conversations with Black, she said the methamphetamine did not belong to her.
Cataldo and Black were taken into custody without incident. Cataldo and Black
were transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation. The
vehicle was towed from the scene.
SEARCH AND RESCUE – NORTHEAST OF WHITE HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Units responded Sunday (3/5) afternoon
to a stranded male subject. Approximately 3:32 p.m., Shane Anthony Ice, 35, of
Las Vegas, Nev., called 911 reporting that his vehicle became stuck in a wash
after he took a wrong road. Kingman Search and Rescue Units responded to the
area of White Hills and located the subject and his vehicle approximately 12
miles northeast of White Hills. Search and Rescue Units were able to get the
vehicle free and escorted him to the main road.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Darlene Ann Saunders, 36, of Kingman,
Friday (3/3) morning for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug
paraphernalia, felonies. Deputies observed a gray passenger vehicle traveling at
a high rate of speed northbound on N Willow Street from Gordon Drive.
Approximately 8:40 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection
of N Willow Street and Sierra Vista Avenue and contacted Saunders, the driver.
As deputies approached Saunders, she appeared to be preoccupied with a purse
sitting next to her. Saunders was very nervous during conversations. Saunders
gave deputies consent to search her vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed
two glass pipes and a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance which
tested positive for methamphetamine. Saunders was taken into custody without
incident. Saunders was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Saunders was given a citation for speeding.
BURGLARY/TRAFFICKING IN STOLEN PROPERTY – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jason Anthony Russo, 23, of Fort
Mohave, early Friday (3/3) afternoon for burglary and trafficking stolen
property, felonies. Approximately 12:15 p.m., deputies contacted Russo at a
residence in the 5000 block of La Cuadra Drive and took him into custody without
incident. During an investigation regarding a burglary reported on Wednesday
(3/1) in the 1500 block of Paseo Redondo Way. Deputies learned that Fort Mohave
Tribal Police Officers contacted Russo during a traffic stop and had obtained
items which were later reported stolen by the 57-year-old male victim. Russo was
taken into custody without incident. Russo was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District II Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Cynthia Rebecca Eastmon, 38, of
Kingman, Friday (3/3) evening on a felony warrant for parole violation issued
out of Arizona Department of Corrections, and a misdemeanor warrant for contempt
of court issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 9:17 p.m., deputies
responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 5800 block of Charles Drive and
contacted Eastmon. A record check showed Eastmon to have an outstanding
warrants. Eastmon was taken into custody without incident. She was transported
and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Amanda Cheree Hunt, 22, of Desert
Hills, Sunday (3/5) morning on a felony warrant for failure to appear issued by
Mohave County Superior Court. Approximately 9:17 p.m., deputies contacted Hunt
in the 1900 block of Big Bass Cove Drive regarding her outstanding warrant. Hunt
was taken into custody without incident. She was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District III Substation.
FALSE LICENSE PLATE – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Todd Lamarche, 53, of Lake Havasu
City, late Sunday (3/5) morning for knowingly displaying false license plate, a
misdemeanor. Deputies observed a green 1995 Ford Explorer having expired
registration. Approximately 11:25 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the
1600 block of Industrial and contacted Lamarche, the driver. A record check on
the vehicle plates returned to a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina. During conversations
with Lamarche, he admitted to removing the plate and placing it onto the Ford.
Lamarche was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked
into the Mohave County District III Substation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Georgia Elizabeth James, 56, of Mohave
Valley, Sunday (3/5) evening on two counts of aggravated assault with deadly
weapon/domestic violence, felonies. Approximately 7:49 p.m., deputies responded
to a weapons offense call in the 1600 block of Vista Drive and contacted two
victims; 50-year-old male and 59-year-old female. Both victims reported that
James pointed a gun at them. Deputies contacted James. During conversations with
James, she said that she did point the gun at the victims. Deputies located and
confiscated the loaded 38 caliber gun. James was taken into custody without
incident. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation.
BURGLARY/THEFT – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Dean Bronson, 30, and Clayton Edward
Tamayo, 18, both from Kingman, Thursday (3/2) afternoon. Bronson and Tamayo were
each arrested for burglary and theft, felonies. On February 20, 2006, deputies
responded to a burglary and a theft in the 6600 block of Minnesota Way. During
an on-going investigation, deputies have charged Bronson and Tamayo with the
above mentioned charges relating to this incident. Deputies contacted Bronson
and Tamayo at the Mohave County Jail where they were currently incarcerated.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Heather Marie Heath, 22, of Kingman,
Thursday (3/2) afternoon on a misdemeanor warrant for issuing bad check issued
by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 3:47 p.m., deputies contacted Heath in
the 4100 block of N Arizona Street regarding her outstanding warrant. Heath was
taken into custody without incident. Heath was transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Harry James Doke, 43, of Lake Havasu
City, early Thursday (3/2) evening for possession of dangerous drugs, possession
of drug paraphernalia, and probation violation, felonies. Approximately 5:13
p.m., deputies assisted a Probation Officer at a residence in the 2600 block of
S. Jamaca. The MCSO K-9 unit responded and assisted the Probation officer in a
search of the residence. The K-9 alerted his handler to an area where a tin can
was located. The tin can contained two spoons with white residue, a glass pipe
with burnt residue, and a syringe. A usable quantity of the white substance
located on the spoons field tested positive for methamphetamine. Doke was taken
into custody without incident. Doke was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District III Substation.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA/THEFT – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested James George Medlin, 23, of Kingman,
Thursday (3/2) evening for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony, and
theft, a misdemeanor, along with a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear
issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 9:21 p.m., deputies conducted a
traffic stop in the area of Northern Avenue and David Drive and contacted
Medlin. A record check showed Medlin to have an outstanding warrant and a
suspended driver’s license. A search of the vehicle revealed a pipe inside a
metal box and a loaded rifle in the rear window. A computer check showed the
rifle to have been reported stolen. Medlin was taken into custody without
incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle
was towed from the scene.
WARRANT ARREST – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Adam Louis Hofstadter, 26, of Lake
Havasu City, Thursday (3/2) evening on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay
fines issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court. Approximately 8:35 p.m.,
deputies contacted Hofstadter in the 2000 block of San Juan regarding his
outstanding warrant. Hofstadter was taken into custody without incident.
Hofstadter was transported and booked into the Mohave County District III
Substation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Richard Allen Goldman, 41, of Mohave
Valley, Wednesday (3/1) morning for aggravated assault/domestic violence, a
felony. On Tuesday (2/28) deputies responded to a disturbance in the 600 block
of Gordon Drive and contacted the 53-year-old female victim. The victim reported
that her boyfriend, Goldman, threatened her with a knife. Goldman left the scene
prior to the deputy’s arrival. Deputies searched the area without success.
Approximately 9:00 a.m., deputies learned of Goldman’s whereabouts and contacted
him in the area of Highway 95 and King Street. During conversations with
Goldman, he denied arguing and threatening the victim. Goldman was taken into
custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT/DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Diane Lynn Hinman, 42, of Mohave
Valley, early Wednesday (3/1) afternoon for aggravated assault on law
enforcement officer, a felony, and two counts of disorderly conduct/domestic
violence, a misdemeanor. Approximately 12:28 p.m., deputies responded to a
disturbance in the 10500 block of Lead Lane and contacted 20-year-old female and
58-year-old male victims. The female victim reported that her mother, Hinman,
was throwing things around and took a swing at her. The male victim reported
that his wife, Hinman, was kicking and throwing things around. Deputies
contacted Hinman as she was yelling profanities and acting unruly. Hinman was
taken into custody. Hinman was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation. During transport Hinman spit on a deputy and while she
was being booked into the jail she kicked a deputy in the leg.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Scott Frederick Paulson, 41, of
Kingman, early Wednesday (3/1) evening for possession of marijuana and
possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, along with five misdemeanor
warrants; one for failure to pay fines and four warrants for failure to appear,
all issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies contacted
a male subject riding a bicycle in the 500 block of Beverly Avenue. A record
check showed Paulson to have outstanding warrants. Paulson was taken into
custody without incident. A search of Paulson revealed a plastic bag containing
marijuana and rolling papers. Paulson was transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Eugene Metcale Tregaze and Lloyd
Michael Dykes, both 18, both from Golden Valley, Wednesday (3/1) evening.
Tregaze was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana,
and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Dykes was arrested for
possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony. Approximately 9:00 p.m., deputies
contacted two male subjects inside a vehicle in the 3500 block of Byrce Road.
The driver identified as Tregaze and passenger identified as Dykes exited the
vehicle as requested by the deputy’s. A search of the vehicle revealed a pipe
located on the passenger floorboard and under the drivers seat two glass pipes
and two plastic bags were located; one containing a white powder substance and
the other containing marijuana. Tregaze and Dykes were taken into custody
without incident. Tregaze and Dykes were transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Amanda Raecyne Fortune, 24, and Daniel
Wayne Gibson, 29, both from Kingman, Wednesday (3/1) evening. Fortune was
arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony, and two misdemeanor
warrants for failure to appear and contempt of court, both issued by Kingman
Justice Court. Gibson was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, a
felony, and a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court issued by Kingman
Justice Court. Approximately 10:16 p.m., deputies contacted two subjects sitting
inside a vehicle in the 4500 block of N Bank Street. The occupants identified as
Fortune and Gibson. A record check showed Fortune and Gibson to each have
outstanding warrants. Fortune and Gibson were taken into custody without
incident. A search of Gibson revealed a glass pipe with residue and a search of
Fortune revealed a plastic bag containing a crystal type residue. Fortune and
Gibson were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
