SEARCH AND RESCUE – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Units were deployed Tuesday (2/28)
evening due to a lost male subject. Beau Darryl Barrett, 24, of Avondale, Ariz.,
was self-reporting via a cell phone that while he was hiking, he became lost in
the mountains. Barrett further said that he could see a broadcast tower nearby.
At about 6:35 p.m., Kingman Search and Rescue Unit and DPS Kingman Ranger
responded to the mountains near Coyote Pass. Approximately 45 minutes into the
search, Barrett was located. DPS Ranger transported Barrett to the Kingman
Regional Medical Center for dehydration and exposure.
TRESPASSING – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Paul Dean Breedlove, 40, of Kingman,
Tuesday (2/28) afternoon for trespassing, a felony. Approximately 3:28 p.m.,
deputies responded to a disturbance in the 3800 block of Hearne Avenue and
contacted the 19-year-old female victim. The victim reported that Breedlove
walked inside her residence uninvited and was yelling at her. The victim further
reported that Breedlove would not leave when the victim asked. Deputies
contacted Breedlove at a residence next door. Breedlove was taken into custody
without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
BURGLARY – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Tyree Trey Edmond, 19, of Kingman,
early Tuesday (2/28) afternoon for burglary and possession of drug
paraphernalia, felonies. Approximately 3:30 p.m., deputies responded to a
burglary call in the 2600 block of John L Avenue and contacted the 30-year-old
female victim. The victim reported that when she returned home this afternoon
that someone had broken into her residence and took electronic equipment. The
victim further reported that she observed her nephew, Edmond, riding a bicycle a
few doors from her residence as she was pulling into her driveway. Deputies
observed pry marks on an entry door. Deputies searched the area without locating
Edmond. At about 6:00 p.m. the victim informed deputies that Edmond was at a
relatives house. Deputies responded to the 4300 block of N Irving Street and
contacted Edmond. Deputies observed Edmond to have all of the reported stolen
items with him. During conversations with Edmond, he admitted to breaking into
the victims’ house and taking the property. Edmond was taken into custody
without incident. A search of Edmond revealed a glass pipe. He was transported
and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Diane Lynn Hinman, 42, of Mohave
Valley, late Tuesday (2/28) evening for aggravated assault/domestic violence, a
felony. Approximately 11:38 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the
10500 block of Lead Lane and contacted the 58-year-old male victim. The victim
reported that his wife, Hinman, began arguing with him and it escalated when she
followed him around with a knife. The victim further reported that while Hinman
was holding the knife she scratched him multiple times with her free hand,
causing him to bleed. During conversations with Hinman, she admits to following
the victim with a knife and scratching him. Hinman was taken into custody
without incident. Hinman was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation.
WARRANT ARREST/THEFT – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Cesar Manuel Flores, 31, Jesus Manuel
Veleta, 37, both from Glendale, Ariz., and Carlos Isaias Ledezma, 34, of
Phoenix, early Sunday (2/26) evening. Flores, Veleta and Ledezma were each
arrested for theft, a misdemeanor. Flores was also charged on a felony warrant
for narcotic drug violation issued out of Maricopa Superior Court. Approximately
4:16 p.m., deputies responded to a theft of building materials in the 3200 block
of Ames Avenue and contacted the supervisor/reporting party. The reporting party
said that he detained three men after he observed them load plywood into the
back of their truck from the construction site. Deputies contacted Flores,
Veleta and Ledezma. A record check showed Flores to have an outstanding warrant.
Flores was taken into custody without incident. Flores was transported and
booked into the Mohave County Jail. Veleta and Ledezma were cited and released.
AGGRAVATED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Charles Frederick Rinaldi, 35, of Fort
Mohave, early Monday (2/27) morning for aggravated domestic violence, a felony.
Sunday (2/26) at about 9:39 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence call
in the 4400 block of Cielo Azul Drive and contacted the 45-year-old female
victim. The victim reported that Rinaldi, her husband, poured beer onto her
mattress and broke the beer bottle on the bedroom wall. The victim further
reported that Rinaldi would not leave the residence. Rinaldi left the scene
prior to the deputy’s arrival. A criminal history check showed Rinaldi to have
several incidents of domestic violence. Early Monday morning at about 12:25
a.m., deputies responded back to the victims’ residence as Rinaldi was
attempting to make entry without permission. Fort Mohave Tribal Police Officer
responded and assisted. Rinaldi was located in the backyard of the residence and
he was taken into custody without incident. Rinaldi was transported and booked
into the Mohave County District II Substation.
RECOVERED STOLEN MOTORCYCLE – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Bruce Alan Coker, 42, of Desert Hills,
late Monday (2/27) morning for possession of stolen property, a felony, and
driving with suspended license, a misdemeanor. Approximately 11:00 a.m.,
deputies observed a male subject riding a red and white off road dirt bike
southbound on London Bridge Road near Tourmaline. Deputies attempted to conduct
a traffic stop, but the rider continued without stopping. Deputies followed the
dirt bike and observed the rider make a sharp turn onto Sapphire Street and
crashed near the stop sign of Pero Drive and London Bridge Road. Deputies took
the male subject, identified as Coker, into custody without incident. Deputies
observed Coker to have lacerations to left hand. Desert Hills Fire Department
responded and treated Coker. Also, River Medical responded and transported Coker
to Lake Havasu City Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released.
Coker was transported and booked into the Mohave County District III Substation.
A record check showed Coker’s driver’s license to be suspended and to have a
failure to appear misdemeanor warrant issued by Lake Havasu City Justice Court.
Investigations determined the dirt bike, a 2003 Honda CR 125, was reported
stolen from Lake Havasu City approximately a year ago. The dirt bike was
released to the owner.
THEFT/TRAFFICKING STOLEN PROPERTY – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Danielle Marie Train, 32, of Fort
Mohave, early Monday (2/27) afternoon for theft and trafficking stolen property,
felonies. Deputies took a theft report on October 5, 2005 that occurred in the
1600 block of Joy Lane. The 41-year-old male victim said he left Train at his
residence to watch his children on October 4th. The victim reported that on
October 5 he noticed property was missing. The reported missing items were
make-up and miscellaneous jewelry. Deputies contacted Train at a residence in
the 5100 block of La Cuadra Drive. During conversations with Train, she said
that she had no involvement with any property disappearing. Deputies got consent
to search Train’s residence. The searched did not reveal any reported stolen
items. In mid-December, the victim discovered that he was also missing an elk
horn knife. On-going investigations determined Train had pawned the knife at a
local pawnshop on October 5th. On Monday (2/27), detectives interviewed Train at
the Mohave County District II Substation. During conversations with Train, she
said that the victim had given her the knife and she admitted to pawning the
item. Train was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Christopher John Mathews, 39, of Fort
Mohave, early Friday (2/24) afternoon for possession of drug paraphernalia, a
felony, and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear issued by Kingman
Justice Court. Approximately 11:40 a.m., while deputies were investigating a
case, Mathews was contacted near Vanderslice Road and Sterling Road. A record
check showed Mathews to have an outstanding warrant. Mathews was taken into
custody without incident. Mathews vehicle was nearby. A search of the vehicle
revealed a glass pipe with residue. During conversations with Mathews, he said
the pipe was not his. Mathews was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – OATMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kenneth Dean Porter Jr., 55, of Copper
Canyon, Texas, early Sunday (2/26) afternoon for possession of marijuana and
possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Approximately 12:55 p.m., deputies
observed a male subject stumbling while walking to his vehicle that was parked
on Oatman Highway. Deputies further observed the male subject enter his vehicle
and drop his keys on the floorboard. Deputies contacted the male subject
identified as Porter. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Porter. During
conversations with Porter, he admitted to have been drinking. Following the
field sobriety tests (FST’s), Porter was taken into custody. A search of the
vehicle revealed two plastic bags of marijuana and two pipes. Further
conversations with Porter, he said that the marijuana and pipe belonged to him.
Porter was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
AGGRAVATED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Albert Velasquez Jr., 27, of Mohave
Valley, Saturday (2/25) evening for aggravated domestic violence and disorderly
conduct, felonies. Approximately 7:16 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance
in the 7400 block of Harquahala Drive and contacted the owner of the residence.
The owner said that Velasquez and Velasquez’s girlfriend was at his residence
earlier when Velasquez began arguing with his girlfriend. Velasquez attempted to
hit the owner when Velasquez was asked to leave his property. Deputies responded
to Velasquez’s residence in the same block. Deputies contacted Velasquez’s
girlfriend. The girlfriend/victim said that when Velasquez saw the lights from
the patrol unit, that he left the residence. The victim further said that
Velasquez was yelling at her earlier as she was walking a friend out of the
residence. A criminal history check showed Velasquez to have several incidents
of domestic violence. As deputies were about to leave the residence, they
learned that Velasquez was lying down near some bushes. Deputies located and
took Velasquez into custody without incident. Velasquez was transported and
booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kenneth Edwin Lunsford, 41, of Mohave
Valley, early Sunday (2/25) morning for possession of dangerous drugs and
possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Deputies observed a male subject on
a small dirt bike on the corner of an intersection at Mallard Street and Well.
Approximately 12:45 a.m., deputies contacted the male subject, identified as
Lunsford. Lunsford persistently kept concealing his hands. Deputies ordered
Lunsford several times to show his hands. Lunsford would not comply. Deputies
observed Lunsford drop something from his coat pocket. Fort Mohave Tribal Police
Officer responded and assisted. Lunsford was detained. The deputy’s K-9 was
deployed and a search was conducted of the immediate area including the
motorcycle. A plastic bag containing a white crystal substance was located. The
white crystal substance field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Lunsford was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation without
incident. The motorcycle was towed from the scene.
RESISTING ARREST – OUTSIDE OF LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Steven Boyd Cahill, 44, of Dale,
Oklahoma, Saturday (2/25) afternoon for false report to law enforcement
officers, aggravated assault and resisting arrest, felonies. Approximately 11:39
a.m., deputies responded to a business located in the 14700 block of Highway 95
in reference to a male subject being chased by other subjects with rifles.
Deputies contacted the reporting party, later identified as Cahill. The
reporting party said that a Lincoln Town car with two male subjects followed him
into the business parking lot. One male subject stayed in the vehicle, while the
other male subject followed him into the business carrying a case containing a
rifle. An officer from the US Fish and Wild Life responded and assisted. An
immediate search was conducted inside and outside of the business without
locating any suspects or a Lincoln Town car. The reporting party further said
that he had evidence where he left his semi-truck parked on the Interstate 40 at
milepost 6. The reporting party said several men were trying to break into his
truck by unscrewing a panel. Deputies responded to the location of Cahill’s
truck and did not locate any evidence of tampering. Cahill was informed that he
was being detained for false reporting. Cahill became combative toward deputies.
Cahill resisted orders and would not comply with their commands. Deputies
further restrained Cahill and during the struggle, Cahill received a laceration
to his face. Medical responded and transported Cahill to Lake Havasu City
Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released. Cahill was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District III Substation without
further incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
RESISTING ARREST – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Vicki Ann Wadlow, 47, of Lake Havasu
City, Friday (2/24) afternoon for resisting arrest, a felony, trespassing and
disorderly conduct, misdemeanors. Approximately 12:34 p.m., deputies responded
to a trespassing call in the 3100 block of Highway 95 and contacted the
reporting party. The reporting party said that a woman identified as Wadlow was
inside the business causing a disturbance and she refused to leave. Depuites
contacted Wadlow in the parking lot. During conversations with Wadlow, she said
that she was waiting to talk to someone. As deputies were taking Wadlow into
custody she struggled. Deputies further restrained Wadlow. Wadlow was taken into
custody without further incident. Wadlow was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District III Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives and deputies arrested Shawn Allen Garrett,
28, of Kingman, Friday (2/24) afternoon on a fugitive from justice felony
warrant issued out of Jefferson City Parole Board, Missouri. Approximately 2:45
p.m., detectives and deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2800 block of
Hearne Avenue and contacted Garrett. A record check showed Garrett to have an
outstanding warrant. Garrett was taken into custody without incident. Garrett
was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives and deputies arrested Deborah Jean Stanfill-Sagely,
49, of Kingman, Friday (2/24) afternoon on two felony warrants for failure to
appear, both issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 3:00 p.m.,
detectives and deputies contacted Stanfill-Sagely in the 3800 block of Hearne
Avenue regarding her outstanding warrants. Stanfill-Sagely was taken into
custody without incident. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County
Jail.
ASSAULT – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert Elias Arguello, 49, of Desert
Hills, Friday (2/24) morning for assault and a warrant for contempt of court
issued by Lake Havasu City Justice Court, both misdemeanors. On Saturday (2/19)
deputies responded to an assault call in the area Craggy Wash and contacted the
45-year-old male victim. The victim reported that a male subject, later
identified as Arguello, struck him in his face with a rock. Medical responded
and treated the victim. Arguello left the scene prior to the deputy’s arrival.
Deputies searched the area without success. On Friday (2/24) deputies were
informed of Arguello’s whereabouts. Approximately 10:00 a.m., deputies contacted
Arguello at Desert View Drive and Kiowa Boulevard. Arguello was taken into
custody without incident. A record check showed Arguello to have an outstanding
warrant. Arguello was transported and booked into the Mohave County District III
Substation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/FALSE REPORTING – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Allen Ray Hanson, 27, of Mohave
Valley, early Friday (2/24) evening for disorderly conduct/domestic violence and
false report to law enforcement officer, misdemeanors, along with warrants.
Approximately 5:26 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the
9700 block of Prescott Drive. Dispatch informed deputies that a male subject and
a female subject were arguing inside a parked vehicle. Deputies contacted the
23-year-old female victim. The victim reported that she and Hanson were arguing.
The victim further reported that Hanson grabbed her shirt, preventing her from
getting out of the vehicle. Hanson left walking. Deputies searched the immediate
area and located a male subject matching the description of Hanson. Deputies
contacted the male subject and the male subject provided deputies with a false
name. Deputies determined the male subject to be Hanson. Hanson was taken into
custody without incident. A record check showed Hanson to have an three
misdemeanor warrants for criminal damage/domestic violence, disorderly
conduct/domestic violence, both issued by Bullhead City Municipal Court and
contempt of court issued by Bullhead City Justice Court. Hanson was transported
and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – HORIZON SIX
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jeffrey S. Wilson, 56, and Martin Lane
Nall, 42, both from Lake Havasu City, Friday (2/24) evening. Wilson was arrested
for disorderly conduct with a weapon/domestic violence, a felony. Nall was
arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Approximately
7:02 p.m., deputies responded to a 911 call in the 4000 block of Lakeview Road
and contacted the reporting party. The reporting party said that Wilson and Nall
were in a verbal argument and it escalated into a physical fight when Wilson
grabbed a shotgun and pointed it at Nall. While Wilson and Nall were struggling
the shotgun discharged hitting the floor. Deputies contacted Wilson and Nall and
took them into custody without incident. Wilson and Nall were transported and
booked into the Mohave County District III Substation.
2X’S ESCAPE – BEAVER DAM (AZ STRIP)
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jody Lynn Wilson, 28, of Stamford, New
York, Saturday (2/25) afternoon on two counts of escape, felonies. Deputies
assisted DPS by transporting a felon. Approximately 11:00 a.m., deputies met
with a DPS Officer at the Cedar Pockets cut off road and Highway 91. Deputies
took custody of Wilson. Wilson was in custody for unlawful use of means of
transportation, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful flight, felonies.
Wilson was transported to the Beaver Dam Substation. While Wilson was being
processed, she attempted to escape twice. Wilson was later transported and
booked into the Mesquite Jail.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Lawrence Thomas Reyes Jr., 30, and
Rachel Colleen Reyes, 25, both from Mohave Valley, late Saturday (2/25) morning.
Lawrence Reyes was arrested for assault/domestic violence, a misdemeanor, and
Rachel Reyes was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence, a
misdemeanor. Deputies were on patrol in the area of Highway 95 and Boundry Cone
Road when they observed a possible motorist assist. Approximately 11:25 a.m.,
deputies pulled behind the vehicle that was sitting in the center lane and
contacted Rachel Reyes. Deputies observed children inside the vehicle. During
conversations with Rachel Reyes, she said that Lawrence Reyes, her husband, hit
her twice in the face. Rachel Reyes later said that she reached across the
vehicle and flicked his glasses off his head. Deputies contacted Lawrence Reyes.
During conversations with Lawrence Reyes, he said that Rachel Reyes reached
across the vehicle and struck him in the face. Lawrence Reyes further said that
he struck Rachel Reyes twice in the mouth. Lawrence Reyes was taken into custody
without incident. Lawrence Reyes was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation. Rachel Reyes was cited and released.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/DRUGS – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Terry Paul Gruber, 27, and Constance
Ann Rumer, 35, both from Desert Hills, early Thursday (2/16) afternoon. Gruber
and Rumer were each arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug
paraphernalia, felonies. Gruber was also charged with an additional felony
charge of aggravated assault/domestic violence. Approximately 12:05 p.m.,
deputies responded to a disturbance in the 3000 block of Pero Drive and
contacted the 37-year-old male victim. The victim reported that there was an
altercation between Gruber and Rumer. The victim further reported that he went
into their room and Gruber threatened him with a wooden axe handle. Deputies
contacted Gruber and Rumer. Deputies observed a pipe with marijuana residue
lying on a table in their bedroom. Rumer said the pipe was hers. Deputies got
consent to search their bedroom. The search revealed a plastic bag containing
19.5 grams of marijuana, several pipes, many plastic bags with white residue,
and a couple pipe screens. Gruber and Rumer were taken into custody without
incident. Gruber and Rumer were transported and booked into the Mohave County
District III Substation.
WARRANTS ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kenneth D. Erwin, 41, of Fort Mohave,
Wednesday (2/22) evening on two misdemeanor warrants for assault/domestic
violence, disorderly conduct/domestic violence and contempt of court, both
issued by Bullhead City Justice Court. Deputies observed a male subject acting
suspicious when he attempted to hide as the deputies drove near. Approximately
8:00 p.m., deputies contacted the male subject identified as Erwin in the area
of Camino Nuevo and Camino Bruja. A record check showed Erwin to have
outstanding warrants. Erwin was taken into custody without incident. Erwin was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
CONTEMPT OF COURT/FALSE REPORT – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Edward Joseph Ortiz, 46, of Fort
Mohave, Tuesday (2/21) evening for interfering with judicial
proceedings/domestic violence and false reporting to law enforcement officer,
misdemeanors. Approximately 8:00 p.m., deputies responded to a contempt of court
in the 4000 block of Jenny Drive and contacted the 46-year-old female victim.
The victim reported that her estranged husband, Ortiz, drove by her house
earlier and parked down the street to watch her house. The victim further
reported that she has an order of protection against Ortiz. Deputies confirmed
the order was valid. Deputies contacted Ortiz at a residence in the 4400 block
of Los Maderos Drive. During conversations with Ortiz, he denied driving by the
victims’ residence earlier. Further conversations with Ortiz, he said that he
had gone by the victims’ residence to drop off a cell phone. Ortiz was taken
into custody without incident. Ortiz was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Donald Jack Douglas, 57, of Kingman,
Tuesday (2/21) afternoon on a felony warrant for failure to register as a sex
offender issued by Kingman Justice Court and two misdemeanor warrants for
contempt of court issued by Bullhead City Justice Court and failure to pay fines
issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 1:08 p.m., deputies contacted
Douglas in the 3800 block of Northfield Avenue regarding his outstanding
warrants. Douglas was taken into custody without incident. He was transported
and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Travis Harold Kitto, 39, of Fort
Mohave, early Tuesday (2/21) evening for aggravated assault/domestic violence, a
felony. Monday (2/20) evening deputies responded to a domestic violence
disturbance in the 4400 block of Ranchita Drive and located the 44-year old
female victim lying on the bedroom floor. Medical responded. The victim reported
that Kitto punched her numerous times. Kitto left the residence prior to the
deputy’s arrival. The victim was transported to Valley View Medical Center.
Deputies attempted to locate Kitto and his vehicle without success. Upon further
investigations, deputies located Kitto in the 1500 block of Aztec Drive at about
4:30 p.m. A record check showed Kitto to have prior domestic violence charges.
Kitto was taken into custody. He was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation without incident.
WARRANT ARREST – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Calvin Jay Bade, 41, of Bullhead City,
early Wednesday (2/22) morning on a felony warrant for probation violation
issued by Mohave County Superior Court. Approximately 12:22 a.m., deputies
contacted Bade as he was walking at milepost 233 on Highway 95. A record check
showed Bade to have an outstanding warrant. Bade was taken into custody. He was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation without
incident.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Casandra Leigh Aloia, 22, of Bullhead
City, early Wednesday (2/22) morning for possession of drug paraphernalia, a
felony. Kyle Nathan Aloia, 24, of Bullhead City was also arrested and later
released. Approximately 2:07 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway

Casandra Aloia was taken into custody. She was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District II Substation without incident. The vehicle was towed

2X’S SEXUAL CONDUCT WITH A MINOR – GOLDEN SHORES
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Eric Richard Welch, 24, of Golden
Shores, Thursday (2/16) morning on two counts of sexual conduct with a minor,
felonies. On Tuesday (2/14), deputies responded to a sex offense call in the
12800 block of Oatman Highway and contacted the reporting party. The reporting
party said that Welch, a family friend, had sexual relations with his
15-year-old daughter. Detectives contacted the female victim. On Thursday
(2/16), Welch came into the Mohave County District II Substation for an
interview. Upon further investigations, detectives took Welch into custody
without incident. Welch was booked into the jail.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Edward Barrett, 30, and Christina Lee
Predmore, 27, both from Lake Havasu City, Thursday (2/16) afternoon. Barrett was
arrested for possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous
drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies.
Predmore was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, felony.
Approximately 2:25 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with
expired registration and a broken windshield on Highway 95 at milepost 188.
Deputies contacted the driver identified as Barrett. Barrett only provided
deputies with an identification card as his driver’s license is suspended.
Barrett was issued a citation for driving with a suspended driver’s license and
no current registration. Deputies observed Barrett to be nervous. A K-9 unit
responded and assisted with an outer perimeter search of the vehicle. The K-9
alerted his handler to the front passenger door. Deputies requested Barrett and
two passengers to exit the vehicle. During conversations with Barrett, he said
the drugs were under the front passenger seat. Deputies located a bag containing
marijuana, marijuana pipe, white crystal substance, many assorted plastic bags
and a scale. Upon further search of the vehicle, deputies located a glass pipe
with residue wrapped inside a towel on the rear passenger floor board. Further
conversations with Barrett, he said the drugs and paraphernalia belong to him,
but the glass pipe did not. Deputies contacted both passengers. During
conversations with Predmore, a passenger, she said the glass pipe belonged to
her. The white crystal substance field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Barrett and Predmore were taken into custody without incident. Barrett and
Predmore were transported and booked into the Mohave County District III
Substation. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Bruce Laine Sevier, 50, of Kingman,
Wednesday (2/15) afternoon on two felony warrants for probation violation and
failure to appear issued by Mohave County Superior Court. Detectives knew Sevier
to have outstanding warrants. Approximately 1:30 p.m., detectives contacted
Sevier in the 3700 block of Hearne Avenue regarding his outstanding warrants.
Sevier was taken into custody without incident. Sevier was transported and
booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DUI/CRIMINAL LITTERING – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joshua Scott Wright, 22, of Lake
Havasu City, late Wednesday (2/15) night for DUI and criminal littering,
misdemeanors. Approximately 11:55 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the
3000 block of Williams Drive and contacted Wright, the driver. Deputies smelled
an odor of alcohol on Wright. As deputies were conducting the traffic stop they
observed a bag being thrown from the vehicle. Wright refused to perform the
field sobriety tests and the blood alcohol concentration test. Wright was taken
into custody without incident. Wright was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District III Substation.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives and deputies arrested Tina Marie Lamson, 34,
and Raymond Lewis Shepherd Jr., 37, both from Kingman, Thursday (2/16)
afternoon. Lamson was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of
drug paraphernalia, felonies, and a misdemeanor warrant for probation violation
issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Shepherd was arrested for a misdemeanor
warrant for probation violation issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Approximately
2:00 p.m., detectives and deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 3900 block of
Hearne Avenue and contacted Lamson, the driver, and Shepherd, the passenger. A
record check showed Lamson and Shepherd to each have an outstanding warrant.
Lamson and Shepherd were taken into custody without incident. A search of the
vehicle revealed a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance and numerous
plastic bags. The white crystal substance field tested positive for
methamphetamine. Lamson and Shepherd were transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives and deputies arrested Larry Allen Cline, 45,
of Kingman, Thursday (2/16) afternoon for possession of dangerous drugs and
possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Approximately 3:20 p.m., detectives
and deputies conducted a traffic stop at Canary Lane and Swan Drive and
contacted Cline, the driver. A record check showed Cline’s driver’s license to
be suspended. Cline was taken into custody without incident. A search of the
vehicle revealed a silver spoon with white residue, a syringe and a plastic bag
with a white residue. The white residue field test positive for methamphetamine.
Cline was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was
towed from the scene.
DRUGS – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Donald Jesse Aycock, 42, of Bullhead
City, Wednesday (2/15) evening for possession of marijuana, a felony, and the
following misdemeanors; DUI, possession of open container in vehicle, failure to
show driver’s license or identification and knowingly displaying false license
plate. Approximately 7:34 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a Motor
Home at Highway 95 and Craggy Wash. Deputies contacted Aycock, the driver.
Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Aycock. During conversations with Aycock,
deputies observed an open beer located within reach of the driver. Aycock was
unable to provide deputies with a license or identification. A computer check on
the vehicle plates returned to a passenger car. Deputies got consent to search
the vehicle. A K-9 unit responded and conducted the search. The K-9 alerted his
handler to the ash tray. A search of the ash tray revealed a plastic bag
containing marijuana. Aycock was taken into custody without incident. Aycock was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District III Substation. The
vehicle was towed from the scene.
WARRANTS ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Nicole Daniele Green, 30, of
Kingman, early Monday (2/13) afternoon on a felony warrant for failure to appear
for possession of dangerous drugs issued by Mohave County Superior and a
misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines issued by Kingman Municipal Court.
Detectives were given a tip of Green’s location on Monday. Detectives learned
that Green had outstanding warrants. Approximately 12:55 p.m., detectives
contacted Green in the 3400 block of Stockton Hill Road regarding her warrants.
Green was taken into custody without incident. Green was transported and booked
into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Dwayne Yost, 49, of Kingman,
early Tuesday (2/14) evening on a parole violation felony warrant issued out of
Arizona Department of Corrections. Approximately 5:27 p.m., deputies contacted
Yost in the 3700 block of Northern Avenue. A record check showed Yost to have an
outstanding warrant. Yost was taken into custody. He was transported and booked
into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Cristy Lynn Gray, 35, of Fort Mohave,
Tuesday (2/14) evening for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony.
Approximately 9:00 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop for expired vehicle
registration on Highway 95 at Aztec and contacted Gray, the driver. Deputies got
consent to search the vehicle. A search revealed a glass pipe with residue. Gray
was taken into custody. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation without incident. Gray was cited for expired registration
and no mandatory insurance. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
WARRANT ARREST – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Robert Alexander Reissig, 20, of
Golden Shores, Sunday (2/12) on a felony warrant for drug paraphernalia
violation issued by Bullhead City Justice Court. Approximately 11:50 p.m.,
deputies contacted Reissig at Harbor Drive and Levee Road. A record check showed
Reissig to have an outstanding warrant. Reissig was taken into custody. He was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation without
incident.
WARRANT ARREST – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Tami Lynn Smith, 39, of Lake Havasu
City, early Monday (2/13) afternoon on two misdemeanor warrants for contempt of
court issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court and failure to appear issued by
Lake Havasu City Justice Court. Approximately 12:51 p.m., deputies conducted a
traffic stop on Highway 95 at Smoketree and contacted Smith, the driver. A
record check showed Smith to have outstanding warrants. Smith was taken into
custody. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County District III
Substation without incident.
MISSING PERSON
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s assistance in locating William
Wilson Sharpe, 89, of Kingman. Sharpe left his residence walking in the 2100
block of Suffock Avenue on Sunday (2/12) around 10:30 a.m. He was wearing a dark
plaid shirt, blue jeans, blue tennis shoes and possibly a dark knitted cap.
Sharpe suffers from Alzheimer’s. Sharpe is a white male, 5’08 at 140 lbs with
gray and black short hair. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Sharpe

On Monday (2/13) at approximately 3:30 p.m., Mohave County Sheriff’s Office
received information from two citizens that William Wilson Sharpe, 89, of
Kingman had been located. Sharpe is an Alzheimer’s patient who left his home for
a walk on Sunday (2/12) morning around 10:30 a.m. Sharpe was located
approximately 2 ½ miles northwest of Bull Mountain, about 6 miles from his home.
Sharpe was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center. Mohave County
Sheriff’s Search & Rescue Unit, deputies, DPS Ranger and volunteers assisted in
the search.
WARRANT ARREST – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Stuart Synnestvedt, 33, of
Lake Havasu City, Friday (2/10) morning on a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of
court issued by Lake Havasu Justice Court. Approximately 7:41 a.m., deputies
contacted Synnestvedt regarding his outstanding warrant. Synnestvedt was taken
into custody without incident. Synnestvedt was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District III Substation.
DRUGS – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Brandon Pantuso, 23, of
Bullhead City, Friday (2/10) evening for possession of marijuana and failure to
appear warrant for aggravated assault, discharging a firearm at a structure and
unlawful discharge of a weapon issued by Mohave County Superior Court, both
felonies. Approximately 7:55 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway
95 at milepost 240 and contacted Pantuso, the driver. A record check showed
Pantuso to have an outstanding warrant. Pantuso was taken into custody without
incident. A search of the vehicle revealed a bottle and two plastic bags
containing marijuana. Pantuso was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested David Andrew Mecom, 24, of Kingman,
late Friday (2/10) evening for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony, and
two warrants. Approximately 11:40 p.m., deputies contacted two occupants while
they were sitting in a parked vehicle at a park in the 3000 block of Jagerson
Avenue. Deputies contacted the driver and passenger. A record check revealed
Mecom, the driver, to have two misdemeanor warrants for contempt of court and
trespassing, both issued by Kingman Justice Court. Mecom was taken into custody
without incident. A search of the vehicle revealed two glass pipes located
behind the drivers’ seat. Mecom was transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail. A search of Mecon at the jail revealed a plastic bag with a white
substance. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
RECOVERED VEHICLE – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Justin Ryan Hodges, 23, of Golden
Valley, early Saturday (2/11) morning for theft of means of transportation, a
felony, and a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court issued by Kingman
Justice Court. Approximately 2:31 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a
stolen motorcycle in the 4400 block of N Pinal Street. Upon arrival, deputies
were informed by dispatch that Kingman Police Department Officer’s observed the
motorcycle traveling on Hualapai Mountain Road and that they were pursuing the
vehicle. Shortly thereafter, KPD Officers stopped and contacted the driver
identified as Hodges. Hodges was taken into custody without incident. Deputies
responded to their location. A record check showed Hodges to have an outstanding
warrant. Hodges was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. Hodges
was also charged with unlawful flight from law enforcement by the Kingman Police
Department. During follow-up investigations, deputies contacted the victim. The
victim reported that he woke up due to his dogs barking near the front of his
house. The victim further reported that he went outside and observed someone
driving away on his motorcycle.

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Mike Edward Kirby, 39, of Kingman,
Saturday (2/11) morning on a felony warrant for possession of dangerous drugs
and possession of drug paraphernalia issued by Kingman Justice Court.
Approximately 6:45 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 66 at
milepost 61 and contacted Kirby, the driver. A record check showed Kirby to have
an outstanding warrant. Kirby was taken into custody without incident. Kirby was
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from
the scene.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report at the Kingman Regional
Medical Center on Saturday (2/11) due to an inmate assaulting another inmate.
Approximately 12:01 p.m., deputies contacted the 32-year-old male inmate victim
and he reported that an inmate struck him numerous times in the face and head.
The suspect inmate was later identified as William Thomas Priest, 38, of Lake
Havasu City. The victim was treated and released from KRMC. Deputies responded
to the jail and contacted the Corrections Officers and inmate Priest. Priest was
charged with aggravated assault, a felony.

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Timothy Edward Funes, 22, of Chloride,
and Waldine Shannon Fox, 25, of Kingman, Sunday (2/12) afternoon. Funes was
arrested on a felony warrant for probation violation issued by Mohave County
Superior Court and a misdemeanor warrant for assault issued by Kingman Municipal
Court. Fox was arrested on two misdemeanor warrants for probation violation
issued by Kingman Municipal Court and contempt of court issued by Lake Havasu
City Municipal Court. Approximately 2:30 p.m., deputies responded to a 911 call
in the 4000 block of N Roosevelt Street. Deputies contacted Funes and Fox. A
record check showed Funes and Fox to each have warrants. Funes and Fox were
taken into custody without incident. Funes and Fox were transported and booked
into the Mohave County Jail.

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Mark Allyn Knighton, 40, of Kingman,
early Monday (2/13) morning on a felony warrant for parole violation issued by
Arizona Department of Corrections and two misdemeanor warrants for failure to
pay fines issued by Kingman Justice Court and contempt of court issued by
Bullhead City Justice Court. Approximately 12:45 a.m., deputies contacted
Knighton in the 2600 block of Ames Avenue relating to an earlier incident. A
record check showed Knighton to have outstanding warrants. Knighton was taken
into custody without incident. Knighton was transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jack Albert Schwab, 54, of Fort Mohave
on a felony warrant for five counts of dangerous drug violation and drug
paraphernalia violation issued by Mohave County Superior Court. On Saturday
(2/11) at approximately 6:30 p.m., deputies contacted Schwab in the 4600 block
of Calle Valle Vista. A record check showed Schwab to have an outstanding
warrant. Schwab was taken into custody. He was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District II Substation without incident.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kent Leroy Spurlock, 44, of Bullhead
City on a felony warrant. On Saturday (2/11) at about 4:20 p.m., deputies
contacted Spurlock in the 4400 block of Bank Street. A record check showed
Spurlock to have a felony warrant for failure to appear issued by Mohave County
Superior Court. Spurlock was taken into custody without incident. Spurlock was
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST - FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Joel Keith McElmurray, 25, of Needles,
Cal., on an outstanding warrant. On Saturday (2/11) at about 6:00 p.m., deputies
contacted McElmurray at Highway 95 and Aztec Drive. A record check showed
McElmurray to have a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay a fines issued by
Bullhead City Justice Court. McElmurray was taken into custody without incident.

WARRANT ARREST - LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Ashley Rose Clark, 21, of Parker,
Ariz., for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. On Saturday (2/11) at
approximately 2:00 p.m., deputies contacted Clark during a traffic stop in the
area of Kenneth Lane and Latrelle. A record check showed Clark to have a warrant
for contempt of court issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court on original
charge of shoplifting. Clark was taken into custody without incident. Clark was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District III Substation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kenneth Howard Jensen, 45, of Fort
Mohave on Saturday (2/11) evening on three charges of domestic violence/assault
and domestic violence/disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors. Approximately 8:00
p.m., deputies responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Dunlap Road. Upon
arrival, deputies met with Jensen who was in front of the residence. Jensen was
taken into custody without incident. Deputies contacted the 38-year-old female
victim and the two 16-year-old male victims. The victims reported that Jensen
had begun arguing with them when the physical altercation occurred. The victims
told deputies that during the altercation, the female was hit in the face and
both male victims were grabbed by the throat. All of the victims refused medical
treatment. Jensen was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation.
CRIMINAL LITTERING – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joseph Michael Harmon, 23, of Bullhead
City, and Wendell Lee Doan III, 19, of Laughlin, Nev., early Thursday (2/9)
afternoon. Harmon and Doan were each arrested for criminal littering, felonies.
Approximately 1:24 p.m., deputies responded to littering in progress in the area
of Silver Creek Road, approximately 8 miles east of Bullhead Parkway. Dispatch
informed deputies that two subjects in a white box truck were littering in the
desert. Deputies contacted the suspects about 5 miles east of Bullhead Parkway.
The driver was identified as Harmon and the passenger was identified as Doan.
During conversations with Harmon, he admitted to dumping three glass windows in
the desert. Harmon and Doan were taken into custody without incident. During
conversations with Doan, he admitted to throwing items out of the truck into the
desert. Deputies responded to the location where the dump occurred. Deputies
observed three 5x5 foot windows that were shattered and left approximately 10
feet from the road on Silver Creek Road. Deputies contacted the reporting party.
The reporting party said that he observed two subjects throwing items out of a
truck into the desert. Harmon and Doan were transported and booked into the
Mohave County District II Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Daniel Ray Rodick, 27, of Lake Havasu
City, Thursday (2/9) morning on a felony warrant for failure to appear for
possession of drug paraphernalia issued by Mohave County Superior Court.
Approximately 9:18 a.m., deputies contacted Rodick in the 2800 block of
Havasupai regarding his outstanding warrant. Rodick was taken into custody
without incident. Rodick was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District III Substation.

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Stephen Arnold Symington, 48, of Lake
Havasu City, Thursday (2/9) afternoon on a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of
court issued by Lake Havasu City Justice Court. Approximately 1:02 p.m.,
deputies conducted a traffic stop on London Bridge Road at Mesquite Bay and
contacted Symington, the driver. A record check showed Symington to have an
outstanding warrant. Symington was taken into custody without incident.
Symington was transported and booked into the Mohave County District III

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Colinna Mary Elizabeth Hartung, 34, of
Fort Mohave, Thursday (2/9) evening for criminal damage/domestic violence, a
felony, and disorderly conduct/domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Approximately
9:13 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic dispute in the 4400 block of Puerto
Verde and contacted the 37-year-old male victim. The victim reported that he and
his wife, Hartung, were arguing in their front yard and she became very angry.
The victim further reported that Hartung broke the rear and passenger window out
of his vehicle. Deputies contacted Hartung and took her into custody without
incident. During conversations with Hartung, she admitted to breaking the
windows as she was angry at the victim. Hartung was transported and booked into
the Mohave County District II Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Dale Gene Hanson, 34, of Kingman,
Thursday (2/9) afternoon on a felony warrant for failure to appear issued by
Kingman Justice Court. Detectives observed Hanson driving a vehicle in the 3700
block of Thompson Avenue. Detectives knew Hanson to have an outstanding warrant.
Approximately 2:05 p.m., detectives conducted a traffic stop in the 4700 block
of Norrie Avenue and contacted Hanson. Detectives confirmed Hansons’ warrant and
took him into custody. Hanson was transported and booked into the Mohave County
Jail.
UNLAWFUL USE OF MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested David Ray Payton, 19, of Kingman, and
Michelle Marie Hendershot, 32, of Golden Valley, on Thursday (2/9). Payton was
arrested for theft means of transportation and theft, both felonies, along with
two warrants. Hendershot each arrested for unlawful use of means of
transportation and theft, felonies. Approximately 3:31 p.m., deputies responded
to a theft of a white 1990 Toyota truck towing a trailer with two jet skis which
were traveling east on Burro Road toward Stewart Mountain Road. Deputies were
informed by dispatch that the reporting party and owner of the vehicles was
following the subjects, a male driver and a female passenger. Deputies were
further informed that the subjects in the white Toyota truck got stuck in a wash
near Hoover Road and Burro Road and that the subjects were fleeing on foot.
Dispatch further informed deputies that the female subject fled into a shed at a
residence in the 3700 block of Mormon Flat Road. Upon arrival, deputies
contacted the reporting party. The reporting party said the female was inside a
shed, just east of the residence. Deputies contacted the female, identified as
Hendershot. Hendershot was taken into custody. During conversations with
Hendershot, she said that around 2:00 p.m. she got into the Toyota truck with a
friend when he came by her location, near Bryce Road and Chino Drive. Hendershot
was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without further incident.
Deputies contacted the reporting party/victim. The victim said that he was
driving westbound on Highway 68 near Teddy Roosevelt Road when he observed his
truck and trailer being driven by a male with a female passenger. Upon further
investigations, deputies determined the male suspect to be Payton. A few hours
after the reported incident, the K-9 unit tracked and located Payton in the 3500
block of Highway 68. Payton was taken into custody without further incident.
During conversations with Payton, he admitted to taking the truck and trailer
with jet skis. A record check showed Payton to have two probation violation
warrants; a felony issued by Mohave County Superior Court and a misdemeanor

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – YUCCA
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested William Curtis Miller, 26, of Yucca,
Tuesday (2/7) evening for disorderly conduct/domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Approximately 9:33 p.m., deputies responded to a disorderly conduct call in
Parcel 193, near Rainbow Drive. While enroute, deputies were informed that the
suspect, Miller, had left in a white Ford Mustang. Shortly thereafter, deputies
located and stopped Miller while he was traveling in the vehicle. Deputies
observed a laceration on Millers’ arm. Yucca Fire Department personnel responded
and treated Millers’ injuries. During conversations with Miller, he said that he
broke windows at his house. Deputies transported Miller to his residence.
Deputies observed windows and a sliding glass door broken. Deputies contacted
the reporting party. The reporting party said that Miller was yelling and was
upset. The reporting party further said that Miller punched the rear window to
his residence and broke the glass in the sliding door. Miller was taken into
custody without incident. Miller was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested John Keith Melton, 31, of Kingman,
late Wednesday (2/8) afternoon on a felony warrant for dangerous drug violation,
marijuana violation and drug paraphernalia violation issued by Kingman Justice
Court and a fugitive from justice felony warrant issued out of Montana.
Detectives observed Melton walking in the area of the 3600 block of Northern
Avenue and knew Melton to have outstanding warrants. Detectives attempted to
contact Melton, as he ran through a residential area. Approximately 4:21 p.m.,
detectives detained Melton in the 3600 block of Butler Avenue regarding his
outstanding warrants. The warrants were confirmed and Melton was taken into
custody without further incident. Melton was transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail.
RECOVERED VEHICLE – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Ronnie Lee Carson, 24, and Raymond
Joseph Coleman, 39, both from Kingman, early Wednesday (2/8) morning. Carson and
Coleman were each arrested for unlawful use of means of transportation,
felonies. Deputies observed a green 1993 Chevrolet pick-up truck speeding on N
Castle Rock Road near Swan Drive. Deputies learned that the vehicle was reported
stolen after conducting a license plate check. Approximately 12:50 a.m.,
deputies conducted a high risk traffic stop at Kino Avenue and N Prescott
Street. Deputies contacted Carson, the driver, and Coleman, the passenger.
During conversations with Carson, he said a friend let him borrow the vehicle on
Monday (2/6) to run some errands. Carson and Coleman were taken into custody
without incident. Carson and Coleman were transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
WARRANTS ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Justin David Nichols, 42, of Kingman,
early Wednesday (2/8) morning on a felony warrant for theft and a misdemeanor
warrant for failure to appear, both issued by Kingman Justice Court.
Approximately 12:18 a.m., deputies responded to the 4400 block of N Roosevelt in
reference to a fight in the street. While enroute, deputies were informed by
dispatch that one of the male subjects left walking southbound on N Roosevelt
and that he was wearing a torn shirt. Deputies contacted the male subject, later
identified as Nichols, walking in the 4300 block of N Roosevelt. Nichols began
running eastbound through a residential yard. Deputies caught up to Nichols and
further restrained him. Nichols was taken into custody without further incident.
A record check showed Nichols to have outstanding warrants. During conversations
with Nichols, he said that he ran because of his warrants. Further conversations
with Nichols regarding the fight, Nichols said that he walked away from a bad
situation. Deputies responded to the 4400 block of N Roosevelt and contacted the
other male subject that was involved in the fight. Deputies observed the male
subject to not have any injuries. Nichols was transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail.
FALSE REPORT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kevin Eugene Simpson, 26, of Lake
Havasu City, late Monday (2/6) morning for false report to law enforcement,
driving with suspended license, failure to appear warrant issued by Lake Havasu
City Justice Court and contempt of court warrant issued by Lake Havasu City
Municipal Court, all misdemeanors. Approximately 11:30 a.m., deputies conducted
a traffic stop in the area of London Bridge Road and Pero Drive and contacted
the driver, later identified as Simpson. Simpson initially provided deputies
with a false name. A computer check on the vehicle identified Simpson as the
owner. A record check showed Simpson to have a suspended driver’s license and
outstanding warrants. Simpson was taken into custody without incident and he
identified himself to deputies as Simpson. Simpson was transported and booked
into the Mohave County District III Substation.
LOTTERY SCAM – MOHAVE COUNTY
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public regarding a lottery scam
where residents receive a letter and cashier’s check addressed to them in the
postal mail from AEDC Federal Credit Union in Tennessee, announcing they have
won a lottery. The letter continues explaining; how to claim your winnings by
depositing the cashier’s check and sending them a cashier’s check for their
service. In one case the bank was forced to close the victims’ account. If you
suspect fraud, contact your local law enforcement office.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT/RESISTING ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Richard Dale Pollock, 33, and Luke
Clayton Martin, 17, both from Fort Mohave, Friday (2/3) evening. Pollock and
Martin were each arrested for aggravated assault on law enforcement officer and
resisting arrest, felonies. Pollock was later charged with discharging firearm
at a residence, possession of weapon by prohibited person and disorderly conduct
involving a weapon, all felonies. Approximately 9:42 p.m., deputies responded to
multiple calls of shots fired in the area Verada and Verada Way. Deputies were
informed that the suspects were walking. Deputies searched the immediate area
without locating the suspects. In the meantime, deputies were informed of a
fight occurring at a business nearby, located at Camp Mohave and Highway 95.
Officer’s from Department of Public Safety and Fort Mohave Tribal Police
responded and assisted. When deputies responded to the business they observed a
male subject running from the scene. The male subject was identified as Martin
from previous contacts. Martin refused deputies commands. Martin resisted by
pulling away and kicking as the FMTP officer attempted to arrest him. Officers
further restrained Martin and took him into custody. As Martin was being taken
into custody, a male subject rushed toward the scene with his fists clinched and
in an aggressive manner. Deputies knew this male subject to be Pollock. Deputies
commanded Pollock to stay back as he continued toward the officers. A struggle
occurred as Pollock was being taken into custody. Pollock continued to be
combative with officers. Deputies warned Pollock several times to stop fighting
or the K-9 would be released. Pollock continued to fight and resisted orders.
The K-9 was released and assisted in taking Pollock into custody without further
incident. Fort Mohave Fire Department responded and transported Pollock to the
Valley View Medical Center where his injuries were treated and released. Pollock
was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation. Martin
was transported to Mohave County District II Substation and later booked into
the Mohave County Juvenile Probation in Kingman. On Saturday (2/4), deputies
conducted a follow-up investigation regarding the multiple shots fired and
determined Pollock was the person responsible for firing the weapon on Friday
evening.
FAILURE TO REGISTER – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joshua Robert Parker, 22, of Fort
Mohave, Sunday (2/5) evening for DUI and DUI with a blood alcohol concentration
over .08%, misdemeanors. Approximately 10:26 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic
stop on Highway 95 at Valencia Road and contacted Parker, the driver. Deputies
smelled an odor of alcohol on Parker. During conversations with Parker, he
admitted to have been drinking earlier. Following the field sobriety tests (FST’s),
Parker was taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County District II
Substation where an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to
be .111%. He was booked into the jail without incident. On Monday (2/6) deputies
learned that Parker failed to register as a sex offender. Parker was charged
with failure to register as a sex offender, a felony.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Arnold Armando Guzman, 19, of Kingman,
Monday (2/6) evening on a felony warrant for marijuana violation issued by
Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 9:33 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic
stop in the 2800 block of Northern Avenue. Deputies contacted Guzman. A record
check showed Guzman to have an outstanding warrant. Guzman was taken into
custody without incident. Guzman was transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail.
PROMOTING PRISON CONTRABAND – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report at the Mohave County Jail
Monday (2/6) evening due to drugs found on an inmate. Approximately 10:51 p.m.,
deputies spoke with the Detention Officer and he reported at about 6:30 p.m.
inmate Mark Gordon Klutts, 34, of Mohave Valley, was undressing to take a shower
and the Detention Officer observed a plastic bag of marijuana falling from
Klutts pants onto the floor. Deputies spoke with Klutts and he said the
marijuana was not his. Klutts was charged with promoting prison contraband and
possession of marijuana, felonies. Klutts was originally arrested on 2-2-06 for
failure to appear misdemeanor warrant issued by Bullhead City Justice Court.
JUVENILE WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Pasqual Sosimo Acuna, 16, of
Kingman, Friday (2/3) afternoon on a felony warrant for absconding while on
parole issued by Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections. Approximately 3:33
p.m., detectives contacted Acuna in the 3700 block of Hearne Avenue regarding
his outstanding warrant. Acuna was taken into custody without incident. Acuna
was transported and booked into the Mohave County Juvenile Detention Facility.
WARRANT ARRESTS – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Beatrice Susan Nelson, 43, and Sheryl
L. Fetters, 48, both from Kingman, Sunday (2/5) evening. Nelson was arrested on
a felony warrant for drug paraphernalia violation issued by Kingman Justice
Court. Fetters was arrested on a felony warrant for probation violation issued
by Mohave County Superior Court. Approximately 9:53 p.m., deputies conducted a
traffic stop on Northern Avenue at Diagonal Way. Deputies contacted both
occupants in the vehicle, identified as Nelson and Fetters. A record check
showed Nelson and Fetters to each have an outstanding warrant. Nelson and
Fetters were taken into custody without incident. Nelson and Fetters were
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from
the scene.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Frank Sean Martinez, 35, of Golden
Valley, Monday (2/6) morning on a felony warrant for probation violation issued
by Mohave County Superior Court and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear
issued by Bullhead City Municipal Court. Approximately 10:40 p.m., Martinez
reported to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office on an unrelated matter.
Detectives learned Martinez to have outstanding warrants. Martinez was taken
into custody without incident. Martinez was transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT ON PEACE OFFICER – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Sarah Lynn Dumond, 18, of Mohave
Valley, early Monday (2/6) morning for aggravated assault on law enforcement
officer, a felony. Approximately 12:01 a.m., Dumond was being book into the
Mohave County District II Substation for DUI charges by Arizona Department of
Public Safety. As Dumond was being processed, she became combative and kicked a
deputy. Dumond was charged with the additional charge.
3 X’S MOLESTATION OF A CHILD – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Steven R. Hanks Jr., 31, of Golden
Valley, Saturday (2/4) afternoon on three counts of molestation of a child,
felonies. On Friday (2/3), at about 10:34 p.m., deputies responded to a child
molestation report of an 11-year-old female victim in the 4400 block of Baker
Drive in Kingman and contacted the reporting party. The reporting party said the
incidents occurred recently in the 4400 block of Mazatzal Drive in Golden
Valley. On Saturday, upon further investigations detectives took Hanks into
custody after he was interviewed at the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office in
Kingman. Hanks was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without
incident.
BURGLARY – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Wilbur Leroy Myers, 26, of Fort
Mohave, Saturday (2/4) evening for burglary, a felony. Approximately 9:53 p.m.,
deputies responded to a burglary in the 4400 block of Donald Place and contacted
the 26-year-old female victim. The victim reported that a male subject jumped
out of her closet and ran out of her house. Deputies were provided details of
the male suspect. Fort Mohave Tribal Police officer had detained a possible male
suspect at the corner of Caitlan and Kimberly Drive. Deputies escorted the
victim to the suspects’ location where the victim identified the suspect as
being the male subject that was he her house earlier. Deputies contacted the
male suspect identified as Myers. During conversations with Myers, he said that
he denies the burglary and he was at home all night. Myers was taken into
custody without incident. Myers was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Diana Alicia Zepeda, 39, of Lake
Havasu City, Friday (2/3) morning on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear
issued by Lake Havasu Municipal Court. Approximately 7:14 a.m., deputies
conducted a traffic stop on Verga at Lost Dutchman and contacted Zepeda, the
driver. A record check showed Zepeda to have an outstanding warrant. Zepeda was
taken into custody without incident. Zepeda was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District III Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – HORIZON SIX
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Shawn Bailey, 41, of Lake
Havasu City, Friday (2/3) morning on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear
issued by Lake Havasu Municipal Court. Approximately 9:55 a.m., deputies
contacted Bailey at a residence in the 4000 block of Blue Canyon Road regarding
his outstanding warrant. Bailey was taken into custody without incident. Bailey
was transported and booked into the Mohave County District III Substation.
WARRANTS ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Jeffrey Dale Fowler, 34, of Kingman,
early Friday (2/3) afternoon on a felony warrant for failure to appear on
original charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor warrant
for contempt of court on original charges of misconduct involving a weapon, both
issued by Kingman Justice Court. Detectives observed Fowler walking into a
residence in the 3800 block of Devlin Avenue. Detectives knew Fowler to have
outstanding warrants. Approximately 1:46 p.m., detectives contacted Fowler
regarding his regarding his outstanding warrants. The warrants were confirmed
and Fowler was taken into custody without incident. Fowler was transported and
booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DRUGS – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Nicholas Paul Umphress, 19, of Mohave
Valley, Friday (2/3) evening for possession of marijuana, possession of drug
paraphernalia and aggravated driving while under the influence, all felonies.
Approximately 7:50 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 10000 block of
Driftwood Circle and contacted Umphress, the driver. A record check showed
Umphress driver’s licensed to be suspended. As deputies were taking Umphress
into custody, he revealed that he had marijuana in his possession. Deputies
located a plastic bag of marijuana in his sock. A K-9 unit was at the scene. The
K-9 was deployed and alerted his handler to the passenger area. Deputies
searched the passenger area and located a pipe with burnt marijuana residue.
Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Umphress. During conversations with
Umphress, he admitted to smoking marijuana earlier. Umphress was transported and
booked into the Mohave County District II Substation without incident. A blood
sample was taken from Umphress to be submitted to the DPS Crime Lab for further
analysis.
WARRANTS ARREST – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Joseph Edwards Jr., 34, of
Golden Valley, Friday (2/3) evening on a felony warrant for failure to appear
for aggravated DUI issued by Mohave County Superior Court and a misdemeanor
warrant for failure to appear for issuing bad checks issued by Kingman Justice
Court. Approximately 8:18 p.m., deputies responded to a male subject causing a
disturbance at a business located in the 4200 block of Highway 68. Deputies
contacted the male subject, identified as Edwards, walking south of the
business. A record check showed Edwards to have outstanding warrants. Edwards
was taken into custody without incident. Edwards was transported and booked into
the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jason John Glatz, 24, of Mohave
Valley, Friday (2/3) evening on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines
issued by Bullhead City Justice Court. Approximately 9:30 p.m., deputies
conducted a traffic stop on Highway 95, just north of Court Wright. The driver,
Glatz, was contacted and a record check showed Glatz to have an outstanding
warrant. Glatz was taken into custody without incident. Glatz was transported
and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Christopher Michael Cardenas, 24, of
Fort Mohave, late Saturday (2/4) morning for criminal damage/domestic violence
and aggravated domestic violence, felonies. Approximately 11:11 a.m., deputies
responded to a domestic violence call in the 1900 block of Leisure Lane.
Deputies contacted a male subject identified as Cardenas. During conversations
with Cardenas, he said that the Sheriff’s Office was called because he was
breaking things inside the residence. Deputies detained Cardenas. Deputies
contacted the 52-year-old female victim. The victim reported that her son,
Cardenas, began breaking and throwing things all around in the residence.
Deputies observed holes in walls, a bedroom door damaged and many items thrown
around. A record check showed Cardenas to have past domestic violence arrests.
Cardenas was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation without incident.
WARRANTS ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Laveen Georgianna Miller, 34, of
Kingman, Thursday (2/2) afternoon on a felony warrant for failure to appear
issued by Mohave County Superior Court and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to
pay fines issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Detectives observed Miller riding a
bicycle in the area of Potter Avenue and N Bank Street. Detectives knew Miller
to have outstanding warrants. Approximately 3:47 p.m., detectives contacted
Miller and confirmed her outstanding warrants. Miller was taken into custody
without incident. Miller was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Anthony Wayne Howell, 26, of Kingman,
Thursday (2/2) evening for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony, and a
misdemeanor warrant of assault issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately
10:27 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Eagle Drive at Diagonal Way and
contacted Howell, the driver. A record check showed Howell to have an
outstanding warrant. As Howell was stepping out of the vehicle and taken into
custody, deputies observed a pipe on the floor board near the driver’s seat.
Deputies confiscated the pipe with burnt residue in the bowl. Howell was
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
WARRANT ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jessica Rae Black, 23, of Fort Mohave,
late Thursday (2/2) evening on a felony warrant for endangerment issued by
Bullhead City Justice Court on 10-19-05. Approximately 11:00 p.m., deputies
conducted a traffic stop in the 4400 block of Calvary Road and contacted Black,
the driver. A record check showed Black to have an outstanding warrant. Black
was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County District
II Substation without incident.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE – OATMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested James Lee Tobin, 52, of Oatman, late
Thursday (2/2) evening for criminal damage, a felony. Approximately 11:25 p.m.,
deputies responded to a criminal damage report in the 30 block of Smith Lane and
contacted the 72-year-old female victim. The victim reported that she heard a
crash outside of her residence and when she went outside she discovered her
residence to have a 4 foot hole. The victim further reported that Tobin may have
done the damage since he parks his vehicle near her residence frequently.
Deputies observed tire tracks at the scene. Deputies responded to a residence on
Beacon Hill, approximately 50 yards from the incident. Deputies observed a Ford
truck to have small chucks of stucco and paint on the vehicle and the vehicle is
registered to Tobin. Deputies contacted Tobin. During conversations with Tobin,
he denies any involvement with the incident. Tobin was taken into custody,
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation without
incident.
THEFT – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested David Alen Naylor Jr., 39, of Kingman,
early Wednesday (2/1) afternoon for theft of means of transportation, a felony,
and outstanding warrants. Approximately 1:11 p.m., deputies responded to an
attempted automotive theft in the 3100 block of Northfield Avenue. Deputies
contacted a witness. The witness reported that while he was inside the residence
he observed a male subject sitting in the driver’s seat of his mothers’ vehicle
that was parked in their driveway. The witness contacted the male subject and
observed the vehicle’s ignition was turned to the on position but the vehicle
was not running. The witness told the male subject to leave. The male subject
left walking westbound on Northfield Avenue. A short time later, deputies
contacted the male subject, later identified as Naylor, in the 2500 block of
Hearne Avenue. Naylor was taken into custody without incident. During
conversations with Naylor, he said that he thought the vehicle belonged to a
friend of his. A record check showed Naylor to have three misdemeanor warrants;
contempt of court and two for failure to appear, all issued by Kingman Justice
Court. Naylor was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
SUSPENDED LICENSE – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested John William Currie, 28, of Lake
Havasu City, early Wednesday (2/1) evening for driving with suspended driver’s
license and a contempt of court misdemeanor warrant issued by Lake Havasu City
Municipal Court. Approximately 6:46 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in
the 3100 block of Lake Drive and contacted Currie, the driver. A record check
showed Currie to have a suspended license and a warrant. Currie was taken into
custody without incident. Currie was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District III Substation.
