INTERFERING WITH JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jesse Gilbert Carrillo Jr., 44, of
Bullhead City, Sunday (10/30) morning for interfering with judicial proceedings,
a misdemeanor. On Saturday (10/29) deputies responded to the 4400 block of
Highway 95 in reference to a contempt of court call. The victim reported that
her husband, Carrillo, came into the business and began yelling at her. The
victim further reported that she has a protection order against Carrillo.
Deputies confirmed the protection order. Carrillo left the scene prior to the
deputy’s arrival. Deputies left a message for Carrillo to contact the Sheriff’s
Office as he was not at his residence. On Sunday (10/30) at about 1:00 p.m.
Carrillo contacted the Sheriff’s Office and he was informed that he needed to
turn himself in for violating a protection order. Shortly thereafter, Carrillo
turned himself into the Mohave County District II Substation. Carrillo was
booked into the jail without incident.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Timothy Joe Rogers, 41, of Fort
Mohave, Sunday (10/30) evening for disorderly conduct/domestic violence, a
misdemeanor. Approximately 10:00 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance call
in the 4800 block of Calle Del Media and contacted the reporting party. The
reporting party said that her ex-husband, Rogers, created a disturbance with her
and her son. Deputies contacted Rogers. While deputies were speaking with
Rogers, he became loud and disruptive. Rogers was taken into custody without
incident. Rogers was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation.
HOMICIDE UPDATE – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested Christina Esquera Cornwell, 48, of
Kingman, early Friday (10/28) afternoon on a felony warrant for 1st degree
murder issued by Mohave County Superior Court on 10-28-05. Approximately 12:40
p.m., detectives observed Cornwell in the 3000 block of Andy Devine Avenue.
Deputies knew Cornwell to have a felony warrant. Deputies contacted Cornwell and
took her into custody without incident. Cornwell was transported and booked into
the Mohave County Jail. Please refer to MCSO Media Release dated

DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Steven James Mathis, 23, of Lake
Havasu City, Friday (10/28) morning for possession of marijuana and possession
of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Approximately 6:15 a.m., deputies conducted a
traffic stop on Highway 95 at milepost 181 and contacted Mathis, the driver.
Deputies observed a marijuana pipe sitting on the passenger seat. During
conversations with Mathis regarding the marijuana pipe, he said that he also has
marijuana on the floorboard. Deputies located the marijuana inside a plastic
container. Mathis was taken into custody without incident. Mathis was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District III Substation. The
vehicle was towed from the scene.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Melissa Suzanne McNulty, 23, of
Kingman, Friday (10/28) morning on a parole violation felony warrant issued out
of Arizona Department of Corrections and the following three misdemeanor
warrants; interfering with judicial proceedings issued by Kingman Justice Court,
shoplifting and failure to pay fines both issued by Kingman Municipal Court.
Approximately 9:47 a.m., deputies responded to the area of Calle Sonoita and N
Bank Street regarding a motor home parked off the roadway. Deputies contacted
McNulty and a record check showed McNulty to have four outstanding warrants.
McNulty was taken into custody without incident. McNulty was transported and
booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Vincent Edward Martinez, 43, of Lake
Havasu City, Saturday (10/29) afternoon for possession of dangerous drugs and
possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Approximately 3:45 p.m., deputies
conducted a traffic stop at Lake Havasu Avenue and Mesquite Avenue and contacted
Martinez, the driver. A record check showed Martinez to have a misdemeanor
warrant for interfering with judicial proceedings issued by Lake Havasu City
Municipal Court. Martinez was taken into custody without incident. A search of
the vehicle revealed a pipe and a white crystal substance which later tested
positive for methamphetamine. Martinez was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District III Substation. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
WEAPONS OFFENSE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Dennis Dean Hoover, 45, of Lakewood,
Calif., early Saturday (10/29) evening for aggravated assault with a deadly
weapon, a felony. Approximately 6:15 p.m., deputies responded to a weapons
offense call in the 7800 block of Teal Street and contacted the 20-year-old
female victim. The victim reported that her uncle, Hoover, pulled out a hand gun
and pointed it at her. Deputies contacted witnesses which confirmed the victims’
statements. Deputies contacted Hoover in the 7800 block of Mockingbird Lane.
During conversations with Hoover, he said that he had done nothing wrong. Hoover
was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District II Substation.
TRESPASSING – MEADVIEW
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Scott B. Tipton, 40, of Meadview,
early Sunday (10/30) morning for trespassing, a felony. Approximately 12:45
a.m., deputies responded to a male subject sleeping in front of a motel in the
30000 block of Escalante Boulevard. When deputies arrived, they did not see any
male subject. Deputies contacted the reporting party. The reporting party said
that the male subject may be inside one of the rooms. Deputies located the male
subject, identified as Tipton, in one of the motel rooms. Tipton was taken into
custody without incident. Tipton was transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Bonnie Lyn Huffman, 27, of Fort
Mohave, early Sunday (10/30) afternoon on a probation violation felony warrant
issued by Mohave County Superior Court. Approximately 12:40 p.m., deputies
responded to an alarm at a residence in the 5600 block of Mission Road and
contacted Huffman. Deputies were informed that the alarm had gone off by
accident. A record check showed Huffman to have an outstanding warrant. Huffman
was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County District
II Substation without incident.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joseph Frank Anthony Rucker Jr., 21,
of Kingman, late Sunday (10/30) evening for possession of drug paraphernalia, a
felony. Laveen Georgianna Miller, 34, of Kingman, was cited for driving on a
suspended license, a misdemeanor. Deputies observed a Ford Mustang traveling
North on Bank Street near Hearne Avenue at a high rate of speed. Approximately
11:09 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Bank Street at Potter Avenue
and contacted Miller, the driver. During conversations with Miller, she said
that her license was suspended. Further conversations with Miller, she said that
she recently bought the vehicle and she did not have any of the paper work. A
record check confirmed Miller’s driver’s license to be suspended. Deputies had
Miller and passenger, Rucker, exit the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed
a glass pipe located under the passenger’s seat. During conversations with
Rucker, he said the pipe belonged to him. Rucker was taken into custody without
incident. Rucker was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. Miller
was released. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Angela Deann Hileman, 34, of Mohave
Valley, early Monday (10/31) morning for aggravated harassment, a felony. Sunday
evening at about 8:34 p.m., deputies took a criminal damage report that occurred
in the 10500 block of Bridle Lane involving two slashed tires. Deputies
contacted a 34-year-old female victim. The victim reported that Hileman was
outside the residence, yelling and calling Hileman’s husband, a 28-year-old male
victim. Later both victims’ exited the residence to find two tires on their
vehicle had been slashed. Approximately 12:30 a.m., deputies contacted Hileman
at a business located in the 8800 block of Highway 95. During conversations with
Hileman, she said that she was at that business location the entire night.
Deputies contacted two employee’s of the business. Both employees said that
Hileman left two times throughout the evening. A record check showed Hileman’s
husband has an order of protection against her. Hileman was taken into custody,
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation without
incident.
3X’S THEFT/TRAFFICKING STOLEN PROPERTY – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Shawn David Ryan, 46, of Bullhead
City, Thursday (10/27) afternoon on three counts of theft and trafficking stolen
property, felonies. On Saturday (10/22) deputies took a report of stolen
property from a construction business located in the 1500 block of Solano Place.
Deputies contacted three male victims whom reported nearly $4000.00 worth of
tools had been taken without their permission from October 1 to October 22,
2005. One of the victims and owner of the business further reported that two of
the stolen items had been pawned at a local pawn store by Ryan, an employee of
his. Further investigations led deputies to contact Ryan on Thursday (10/27) at
about 2:20 p.m. in the 1500 block of Solano Place. During conversations with
Ryan, he admitted to taking and pawning the two items, but he denied pawning the
other items. Ryan was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation without incident.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT WITH A WEAPON – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Bruce Wayne Goodell, 56, of Golden
Valley, early Thursday (10/27) evening for possession of drug paraphernalia,
disorderly conduct with a weapon and taking contraband into corrections
facility, felonies. Approximately 5:50 p.m., deputies responded to the
intersection of Chino Drive and Bowie Road regarding a suspicious male subject
with a gun. Deputies contacted the male subject identified as Goodell sitting on
the ground, approximately 100 feet west of Chino Drive. Deputies also located
and confiscated the shotgun which was sitting on the ground. Deputies contacted
a 67-year-old male victim. The victim reported that he and his wife were
traveling in their vehicle southbound in the 3600 block of Bowie Road when they
observed a male subject walking. The victim further reported that as their
vehicle approached the male subject, the male subject pointed a shotgun at him
and his wife. Goodell was taken into custody without incident. Goodell was
transported to the Mohave County Jail and a second search of Goodell revealed a
syringe. Goodell was booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Martin Ortiz Palao, 37, of Fort
Mohave, late Thursday (10/27) evening for disorderly conduct/domestic violence,
a misdemeanor. Approximately 11:00 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in
the 4500 block of Camino Viuda Street and contacted Palao. During conversations
with Palao, he said that he and his girlfriend were arguing. Deputies contacted
a witness and the witness said that Palao assaulted his girlfriend. Deputies
contacted the 25-year-old female victim. The victim reported that Palao grabbed
her and pushed her. Palao was taken into custody without incident. Palao was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
THEFT – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Nicholas Freddrick Rye, 18, of Golden
Valley, Wednesday (10/26) morning for theft of property, a felony. Approximately
8:52 a.m., deputies responded to the Golden Valley Fire Department located in
the 3300 block of Mayer Road regarding a theft. Deputies contacted the
53-year-old male victim. The victim said that on Saturday (10/22) during
equipment inspection he discovered two medical bags and a laptop computer were
missing, to name a few. The victim further said that as one of the volunteer
fire fighters, Rye, was exiting his vehicle this morning, he observed one of the
missing medical bags in Rye’s vehicle. Deputies contacted Rye and got consent to
search his vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed items taken from GVFD.
During conversations with Rye, he said the laptop computer was at his home. Rye
was taken into custody. Deputies got consent to search Rye’s bedroom in the 700
block of Davis Road. The search revealed many items taken from GVFD. Rye was
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tommy Lee Burnell, 19, and Bennie
Bernard Masters, 26, of Kingman, Wednesday (10/26) morning. Burnell was arrested
on two felony warrants; both for failure to appear issued by Mohave County
Superior Court and Kingman Justice Court. Masters was arrested on four
misdemeanors warrants for assault, theft, failure to appear and interfering with
judicial proceedings, all issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 10:24
a.m., deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle in the area of Swan Drive and
Dove Lane. Deputies observed two male subjects standing near a yellow and white
Suburban. As deputies approached them, one of the male subjects, later
identified as Burnell, ran and was later apprehended in the 3600 block of Dove
Lane. A record check showed Burnell to have outstanding warrants. Deputies
contacted the other male subject identified as Masters. A record check showed
Masters to have outstanding warrants. Masters was taken into custody without
incident. An Attempt to Locate (ATL) was issued for the vehicle by Kingman
Police Department as the vehicle was involved with a theft at a business in
Kingman. KPD officers responded to the scene. Burnell and Masters were charged
with additional charges by KPD. Burnell and Masters were transported and booked
into the Mohave County Jail.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Charles Michael Wallin, 22, of Mohave
Valley, early Wednesday (10/26) evening for possession of drug paraphernalia, a
felony. Approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Riverfront
Road and Plantation Road and contacted Wallin, the driver. Deputies observed a
pipe inside the vehicle. During conversations with Wallin, he said the pipe was
a pot pipe and that it belonged to him. Wallin was taken into custody without
incident. Wallin was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
WARRANT ARREST – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Winnifred Darlene Long, 66, of Mohave
Valley, early Thursday (10/27) morning on a felony warrant for theft issued by
Bullhead City Justice Court. Approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies conducted a
traffic stop on Highway 95 near Boundary Cone Road and contacted Long, the
driver. A record check showed Long to have an outstanding warrant. Long was
taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation without incident. The vehicle was released to a family member.
DRUGS – BEAVER DAM
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Evan Robbins, 18, of Beaver Dam, late
Wednesday (10/26) morning for possession of prescription only drugs, a
misdemeanor. Approximately 11:15 a.m., deputies responded to Beaver Dam High
School regarding a student having drugs on him and contacted the Principal. The
Principal reported that Robbins brought drugs to school. Deputies contacted
Robbins. During conversations with Robbins, he admitted to getting the drugs
from his mother without her permission and taking them to school. Robbins was
taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mesquite Jail without
incident.
WARRANT ARREST – GOLDEN SHORES
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Wayne Allen Cardwell, 43, of Golden
Shores, late Tuesday (10/25) morning on a misdemeanor warrant for interfering
with judicial proceedings issued by Bullhead City Justice Court. Approximately
11:11 a.m., deputies responded to a disturbance call in the 5000 block of Chinle
and contacted the reporting party. The reporting party said that his son,
Cardwell, was intoxicated and refused to leave the property. The reporting party
further said that once Cardwell learned that the authorities were called he left
the area. A record check showed Cardwell to have an outstanding warrant.
Deputies located Cardwell at a residence in the Golden Shores RV Park and took
him into custody without incident. Cardwell was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District II Substation.
UNLAWFUL USE OF MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kevin William Hill, 19, of Mohave
Valley, early Tuesday (10/25) morning for unlawful use of means of
transportation, theft, criminal damage and unlawful flight from law enforcement,
felonies. Approximately 4:10 a.m., deputies responded to a call of dirt bikes
riding in the area of Teal Street and Kingsley. Deputies observed a motorcycle
run through an intersection at a high rate of speed. Deputies then observed the
motorcycle and rider strike a wooden fence in the yard of a residence in the 700
block of Kingsley, destroying much of the fence. The subject riding the
motorcycle, later identified as Hill, flew over the handle bars and landed in
the yard. Deputies attempted to make contact with Hill as he got up and ran
toward the backyard. Shortly thereafter, deputies contacted Hill in the
backyard. Hill was taken into custody without incident. During conversations
with Hill, he said the dirt bike belonged to him. A computer check on the VIN
(vehicle identification number) returned to a subject in Fort Mohave. Deputies
contacted the owner of the 2002 Kawasaki KX 85. The owner said that the bike was
stolen recently, but she had not reported it. Hill was transported and booked
into the Mohave County District II Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert Allen Cota Jr., 36, of Kingman
early Tuesday (10/25) morning on an outstanding felony warrant. At approximately
2:00 a.m., deputies contacted a male and female inside a vehicle parked behind
the airport. Deputies identified the male subject as Cota. A record check
revealed Cota to have a felony warrant for littering issued by Kingman Justice
Court. Cota was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and
booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was released to the passenger.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Paul Michael Bertram, 23, of Mohave
Valley on Monday (10/24) evening for criminal damage/domestic violence and
disturbance/domestic violence, misdemeanors. At approximately 5:00 p.m., Bertram
telephoned the sheriff’s office demanding to speak with a deputy. During
conversations with Bertram, he stated he had caused damage to the residence.
Deputies responded to the residence in the 7200 block of Harquahala Drive and
contacted the 58 year-old female victim. The victim told deputies that Bertram
had been upset and kicked a water pipe causing flooding to the porch of the
residence. The victim reported that Bertram had also damaged a wooden fence.
While speaking with the victim, deputies observed Bertram run from the rear of
the residence towards the neighbors yard. As deputies followed Bertram, Bertram
stopped and began to yell at the female victim. Bertram was taken into custody
without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County District
II Sub-station.
WARRANT ARREST – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jennifer Marie Gajdos, 27, of Lake
Havasu City, Friday (10/21) afternoon on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to
appear issued by Lake Havasu City Justice Court. Approximately 1:56 p.m.,
deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 3100 block of London Bridge Road and
contacted Gajdos, the driver. A record check showed Gajdos to have an
outstanding warrant. Gajdos was taken into custody without incident. Gajdos was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District III Substation.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT – GOLDEN SHORES
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Richard R. Welch, 52, of Golden
Shores, early Friday (10/21) evening for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.
Approximately 5:00 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the 5300 block
of Pinal Place and contacted the adult male victim. The victim reported that a
male subject, later identified as Welch, drove up to his house in a brown van
and came into his yard and began yelling at him. The victim further reported
that the male subject left in the van and drove to a residence down the street.
Deputies contacted Welch at a nearby residence. During conversations with Welch,
he admitted to being at the victims’ residence earlier. Welch was taken into
custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation.
AGGRAVATED DUI/2 X’S ENDANGERMENT – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Deanna L. Ryles, 26, of Phoenix, early
Friday (10/21) evening on two counts of endangerment, aggravated DUI, felonies,
and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, a misdemeanor. Approximately
9:00 p.m., deputies responded to a traffic accident in the 1900 block of Camp
Mohave Road. Deputies contacted driver, Ryles, and smelled an odor of alcohol on
her. During conversations with Ryles, she admitted to have been drinking. Ryles
was taken into custody. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded 9MM handgun
located in a case between the passenger and driver seat. As deputies were
driving up to the scene, they observed a truck leaving with a male subject
driving and two small children as passengers. Deputies learned that the two
children were in the vehicle with Ryles during the accident. Deputies proceeded
to the residence where the children were taken in the 4300 block of Amanda
Avenue. Deputies contacted both children and confirmed that they were in the
vehicle at time of the accident. Deputies observed possible injury to one of the
children in the neck area, likely cause by the seat belt. Paramedics responded
and determined the child did not need medical treatment. Ryles was transported
to the Mohave County District II Substation where an analysis revealed her blood
alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .170%. She was booked into the jail without
incident.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joseph Henry Baker, 22, of Kingman,
early Saturday (10/22) morning for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony.
Approximately 1:50 a.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the 2800 block
of John L Avenue and contacted the reporting party. The reporting party said
that her son, Baker, was having a party without her permission. Baker approached
the deputy, smelling of marijuana. During conversations with Baker, he said that
he was having a party in the back, in the shed. Deputies walked toward the
backyard and observed three intoxicated juveniles. One of the juveniles was
lying on the ground, moaning. Hualapai Fire Department responded and transported
the juvenile to Kingman Regional Medical center where he was treated and later
released. Further conversations with Baker, he admitted to giving the juveniles
alcohol and marijuana. Baker was taken into custody without incident. A search
of Baker revealed a pipe. Baker was transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail. Baker may have other charges, pending County Attorney’s review.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested William Joseph Rudloff, 36, of
Kingman, early Saturday (10/22) morning for possession of drug paraphernalia, a
felony, and three misdemeanor warrants for theft, probation violation both
issued by Kingman Municipal Court and failure to pay fines issued by Kingman
Justice Court. Approximately 3:10 a.m., deputies responded to a possible prowler
call in the 2900 block of Potter Avenue and contacted Rudloff, while he was
walking. A record check showed Rudloff to have outstanding warrants. A search of
Rudloff revealed a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance which later
tested positive for methamphetamine. Rudloff was taken into custody without
incident. Rudloff was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANTS ARREST – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Lee Jet Kennedy II, 33, of Mohave
Valley, early Sunday (10/23) morning on four misdemeanor warrants for driving
with suspended license, contempt of court, two counts of failure to appear
issued by Bullhead City Justice Court and a felony warrant for parole violation
issued out of California. Approximately 3:40 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic
stop on Highway 95 at Laguna Road and contacted Kennedy, the driver. A record
check showed Kennedy to have outstanding warrants. Kennedy was taken into
custody without incident. Kennedy was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Martin Paul Haynes, 37, of Kingman,
Sunday (10/23) evening for possession of marijuana, possession of drug
paraphernalia, felonies, and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear issued
by Kingman Municipal Court. Approximately 8:46 p.m., deputies stopped Haynes
while he was riding a bicycle at Dove Lane and Mallard Drive. A record check
showed Haynes to have an outstanding warrant. During conversations with Haynes,
he handed deputies a smoking pipe from his pocket. Haynes was taken into
custody. A search of Haynes revealed marijuana contained in a plastic wrapper.
Haynes was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Daniel Lee Callahan, 41, of Kingman,
early Monday (10/24) morning for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of
drug paraphernalia, felonies, and a misdemeanor warrant for probation violation
issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Approximately 1:00 a.m., while deputies were
patrolling an area, they observed a parked truck occupied by a male subject near
the intersection of Tommie Drive and Potter Avenue. Deputies stopped and
contacted the male subject, identified as Callahan. During conversations with
Callahan, he said that he was resting. A record check showed Callahan to have an
outstanding warrant. Deputies observed a glass pipe in the door panel as
Callahan was exiting the vehicle. Callahan was taken into custody. Deputies
retrieved the glass pipe and observed a white and brown substance in the bowl
which later tested positive for methamphetamine. Callahan was transported and
booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
STOLEN PROPERTY/DRUGS – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jeffrey Allen Collins, 23, of Golden
Valley, Thursday (10/20) morning for possession of stolen property, possession
of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia,
felonies, and the following six misdemeanors; criminal damage, leaving accident,
aggressive driving, knowingly display fictitious plates, driving with suspended
driver’s license and a warrant for probation violation issued by Kingman
Municipal Court. Approximately 9:39 a.m., deputies responded to a suspicious
white Neon vehicle in the area of Emery Park Road and Highway 68. Deputies
observed the vehicle as it sped onto Highway 68 and cutting off about six other
vehicles as it was traveling eastbound. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the
7100 block of Agua Fria Road and contacted Collins. Collins was taken into
custody without incident. A search of Collins revealed a plastic bag of
marijuana and a pipe. A search of the vehicle revealed two plastic bags
containing methamphetamine, three syringes, a spoon and a razor. Investigations
determined the vehicle Collins was driving, a 2001 Dodge Neon, was reported
stolen out of Kingman. A record check showed Collins to have an outstanding
warrant and a suspended driver’s license. Collins was transported and booked
into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
SEVEN FELONIES – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jason Lee Mollett, 21, of Kingman,
late Thursday (10/20) morning for aggravated assault/domestic violence,
possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of misconduct involving a weapon,
theft of means of transportation and possession of a weapon by a prohibited
person, all felonies. MCSO issued an attempt to locate (ATL) for Mollett on
Tuesday (10/18) regarding a domestic violence incident that occurred involving a
23-year-old female victim in the 3100 block of Leroy Avenue in Kingman. The
victim was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center where she was treated and
later released. Approximately 11:53 a.m. on Thursday (10/20), deputies contacted
Mollett at a hotel located in the 2100 block of Birch Square and took him into
custody without incident. A search of Mollett revealed a loaded semi-automatic
pistol and a plastic bag containing a white crystal residue which tested
positive for methamphetamine. Further investigations indicated Mollett traveled
to Lake Havasu City from Kingman in a reported stolen vehicle from Kingman.
Mollett was taken into custody without incident. A record check showed Mollett
to have been convicted of a prior felony. Mollett was transported and booked
into the Mohave County District III Substation. The 1997 Saturn was returned to
its owner.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Richard Lowell Dean, 39, of Kingman,
Thursday (10/20) afternoon on five misdemeanor warrants; all for probation
violation issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Approximately 2:35 p.m., deputies
responded to a disturbance at Carver Avenue and Bank Street. Deputies contacted
Dean. A record check showed Dean to have outstanding warrants. Dean was taken
into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without
incident.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – HORIZON SIX
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Christina Maria McMillan, 30, of Lake
Havasu City, late Thursday (10/20) afternoon for disorderly conduct/domestic
violence, a misdemeanor. Approximately 4:50 p.m., deputies responded to a
domestic violence call in the 4000 block of Gold Springs Road and contacted the
reporting party. The reporting party said that her daughter, McMillan, is out of
control as she was breaking dishes and pushing family members. Deputies
contacted McMillan and took her into custody. McMillan was transported and
booked into the Mohave County District III Substation without incident.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Timothy Paul Dillback, 26, of Fort
Mohave, Thursday (10/20) evening for aggravated assault on a minor and
aggravated domestic violence, felonies. On Saturday (10/15), deputies responded
to an assault call in the 4500 block of Calle Esperanza and contacted the
21-year-old female victim. The victim reported that Dillback assaulted her and
their two small children at a residence in the 4400 block of Calle Viveza.
Deputies attempted to locate Dillback at the 4400 block of Calle Viveza
residence without success. A record check showed Dillback to have a history of
domestic violence incidents. Further investigations led deputies to contact
Dillback on Thursday (10/20) evening, at about 11:00 p.m., in the 8200 block of
Highway 95. Dillback was taken into custody without incident. Dillback was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
RECOVERED VEHICLE – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jose Antonio Valenzuela Peinado, 25,
of Sonora, Mexico, early Thursday (10/20) morning for possession of stolen
property, a felony. Deputies were informed via an attempt to located (ATL) of a
stolen blue Ford Festiva out of Laughlin, Nevada. Deputies observed the vehicle
traveling eastbound on Highway 68. Approximately 5:45 a.m., deputies along with
Kingman Police officers conducted a high risk traffic stop in the 1000 block of
West Beale Street. Deputies contacted the driver, identified as Peinado, and
took him into custody without incident. During conversations with Peinado, he
admitted to taking the vehicle. Peinado was transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Steven Anthony Robinson, 20, of Lake
Havasu City, Wednesday (10/19) morning for possession of marijuana and
possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Approximately 9:50 a.m., deputies
conducted a traffic stop on Highway 95 at milepost 231. Deputies contacted
Robinson. Deputies received consent to search the vehicle where they located a
bag containing drug paraphernalia. Robinson was taken into custody without
incident. A search of Robinson revealed a pipe and a plastic bag of marijuana.
Robinson was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE – GOLDEN SHORES
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Siviano Jino Perez, 23, of Golden
Shores, Wednesday (10/19) afternoon for criminal damage, a felony. Approximately
1:14 p.m., deputies responded to a non-injury accident in the 5000 block of
Powell Lake Road and contacted the reporting party. Deputies were informed that
one of the vehicles involved in the accident had left the scene. Deputies
contacted two victims which were traveling in the other vehicle. The 65-year-old
male victim and 23-year-old female victim said that a tan Buick backed into
their vehicle. The victims further reported that the person driving the tan
Buick vehicle, later identified as Perez, approached them and offered cash and
did not want them to notify law enforcement. The victims declined the offer and
Perez left in his vehicle. Deputies contacted Perez at a residence in the 13000
block of San Luis Place. During conversations with Perez, he admitted to have
been involved in an accident earlier. Perez was taken into custody without
incident. Perez was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation.
TRESPASSING – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Matthew David Harms, 46, of Mohave
Valley, Wednesday (10/19) afternoon for trespassing, a felony. Approximately
3:12 p.m., deputies responded to a trespasser in the 4500 block of Calle Amigo
and contacted the reporting party. The reporting party said that she arrived
home and a found a man, later identified as Harms, sleeping on her couch. It
took several attempts for deputies to wake Harms up as he was intoxicated. Harms
and taken into custody without incident. Harms was transported and booked into
the Mohave County District II Substation.
CHILD ABUSE/AGGRAVATED ASSAULT ON A MINOR – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Lana Renee Mandiville, 40, of Kingman,
early Wednesday (10/19) evening for aggravated assault-adult on a minor, child
abuse, felonies, and endangerment/domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Approximately 6:49 p.m., deputies responded to the 4000 block of Long Mountain
Ranch Road to assist with a medical call. As deputies arrived, they were
approached outside by Mandiville. Mandiville was holding a toddler, later
identified as her 4-year-old daughter and a victim. Deputies observed dried
blood on Mandiville and open wounds on her daughters face. During conversations
with Mandiville, she said that she bit her daughter. For safety purposes,
deputies took the victim and placed her in the patrol unit until medical
arrived. Deputies took Mandiville into custody without incident. River Medical
responded and Child Protective Services were contacted. River Medical Ambulance
transported the victim to Kingman Regional Medical Center. Mandiville was
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Craig Schaffer, 46, of Fort
Mohave, early Tuesday (10/18) evening for assault/domestic violence, a
misdemeanor. Approximately 6:27 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence
call in the 5000 block of Downey Road and contacted the 42-year-old female
victim. The victim reported that she and her husband, Schaffer, were arguing and
he pushed her. Deputies contacted Schaffer and took him into custody without
incident. Schaffer was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation.
AGGRAVATED DUI – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joshua Ira Fetters, 19, of Mohave
Valley, Monday (10/17) afternoon for aggravated DUI, a felony, DUI, DUI with a
blood alcohol concentration over .08%, and a warrant a failure to pay fines
issued by Bullhead City Justice Court, misdemeanors. Approximately 2:10 p.m.,
deputies conducted a traffic stop at Teal and Well Street and contacted Fetters,
the driver. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Fetters. During conversations
with Fetters, he admitted to have been drinking. A record check showed Fetters
driver’s license to be suspended and an outstanding warrant. Fetters was taken
into custody and transported to the Mohave County District II Substation where
an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .153%. He was
booked into the jail without incident.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested John Parker Crowley, 50, of Kingman,
early Monday (10/17) evening on a probation violation misdemeanor warrant issued
by Kingman Municipal Court. Approximately 5:08 p.m., deputies responded to a
disturbance in the 2700 block of Lass Avenue and contacted both parties. A
record check showed Crowley to have an outstanding warrant. Crowley was taken
into custody without incident. Crowley was transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Gordon Donaco Meader, 28, a transient,
Monday (10/17) evening on a probation violation warrant issued by Kingman
Municipal Court and a failure to appear warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court,
both misdemeanors. Approximately 8:00 p.m., deputies made contacted with Meader
during a traffic stop at N Benton Street and Northern Avenue. A record check
showed Meader to have an outstanding warrant. Meader was taken into custody
without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DRUGS – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Shawn Ray Rohn, 34, of Kingman, late
Monday (10/17) evening for possession of marijuana, a felony, and on a probation
violation misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately
11:15 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the 3800 block of John L
Avenue. Deputies contacted Rohn inside a trailer. A record check showed Rohn to
have an outstanding warrant. Rohn was taken into custody without incident.
Deputies observed a plastic bag of marijuana inside the residence. During
conversations with Rohn, he said the marijuana belonged to him. He was
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
THEFT – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jamie Lee Hudson, 40, of Lake Havasu
City, late Monday (10/17) evening for theft and a contempt of court warrant
issued by Lake Havasu City Justice Court, both misdemeanors. Approximately 12:45
p.m., deputies responded to a business in the 3200 block of Highway 95 regarding
a theft of gasoline. Deputies contacted the employee. The employee reported that
a customer received gas and could not pay for it. Deputies contacted the
customer identified as Hudson. A record check showed Hudson to have an
outstanding warrant. Hudson was taken into custody without incident. Hudson was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District III Substation.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE – DOLAN SPRINGS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joann Elaine Wojtacki, 45, of Dolan
Springs, Monday (10/17) evening for criminal damage, a felony. Approximately
10:49 p.m., deputies responded to a criminal damage report in the 16000 block of
Stirrup Circle and contacted the 68-year-old female victim. The victim reported
that she awoke to a loud crashing noise. The victim further reported that the
front door to her house had been broken out along with a window in her
granddaughter’s bedroom. Deputies determined that the victim’s neighbor
identified as Wojtacki had done the damage. Deputies contacted Wojtacki at her
residence across the street. Wojtacki was taken into custody without incident.
Wojtacki was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
AGENCY ASSIST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit assisted Department of Pubic Safety Saturday
(10/15) evening. At about 6:43 p.m., MCSO K-9 Unit responded to milepost 55 on
Interstate 40 where DPS had stopped a passenger vehicle. The K-9 conducted a
search and alerted his handler to a hidden compartment. Later, the hidden
compartment was searched by DPS and approximately 12 pounds of marijuana was
located.
DEATH INVESTIGATION – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the death of an inmate,
identified as Peter Brian Deakin, 37, of Kingman. At about 9:21 p.m., deputies
responded to the Mohave County Jail on Friday (10/14) due to a possible deceased
inmate. When deputies arrived, they observed medical personnel in the cell with
the inmate in D-pod. Medical personnel determined the inmate was deceased.
Deakin was incarcerated on September 29, 2005, of two felonies and two
misdemeanors charges. An autopsy is pending to determine cause of death and
investigation is continuing. Inmates in D-Pod cell were locked down for
approximately 12 hours.
DRUGS – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Craig Edward Castillo Jr., 20, of
Mohave Valley, Friday (10/14) evening for possession of marijuana, a felony.
Approximately 8:50 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at King Street and
Green Valley. Deputies contacted Castillo and smelled an odor of marijuana.
Deputies questioned Castillo as to where the marijuana was. Castillo revealed a
plastic bag of marijuana. Castillo was taken into custody without incident. He
was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – GOLDEN SHORES
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Malina Adoree Pettibone, 27, of Golden
Shores, early Saturday (10/15) morning for possession of marijuana and
possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Approximately 3:40 a.m., deputies
responded to a disturbance in the 4600 block of Pinta Drive and contacted the
reporting party. The reporting party said he rents a room out to two tenants and
that the tenants smoke marijuana inside the room. Deputies contacted the tenants
and received consent to search their room. Deputies located a plastic bag of
marijuana on a dresser. During conversations with one of the tenants identified
as Pettibone, she admitted the marijuana belonged to her. Pettibone was taken
into custody without incident. Pettibone informed deputies that she had a pipe
on her. Deputies located and confiscated the pipe. Pettibone was transported and
booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
DUI – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Cesar Vargas Centeno, 42, of Lake
Havasu City, early Sunday (10/16) morning for DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol
concentration over .08%, consumption of liquor while operating a vehicle and
open container in vehicle, misdemeanors. Approximately 1:50 a.m., deputies
conducted a traffic stop on London Bridge Road at Mesquite Bay and contacted
Centeno, the driver. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Centeno. Deputies
observed two open beers in the vehicle. During conversations with Centeno, he
admitted to have been drinking. Field sobriety tests (FST’s) were conducted
along with an analysis which revealed Centeno’s blood alcohol concentration (BAC)
to be .109%. Centeno was taken into custody, transported and booked into the
Mohave County District III Substation without incident.
WARRANT ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Onorio Gutierres-Cortez, 27, of
Bullhead City, late Sunday (10/16) morning on a felony warrant for failure to
appear issued by Mohave County Superior Court. Approximately 11:45 a.m.,
deputies contacted Gutierres-Cortez in the 1400 block of Content regarding his
outstanding warrant. Gutierres-Cortez was taken into custody without incident.
He was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
SUSPENDED LICENSE – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Thomas Clinton Mitchell, 31, of Lake
Havasu City, early Monday (10/17) morning for driving with a suspended license
and failure to appear warrant issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court, both
misdemeanors. Approximately 2:50 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on
Highway 95 at Swanson Avenue and contacted Mitchell, the driver. A record check
showed Mitchell to have a suspended license and an outstanding warrant. Mitchell
was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District III Substation.
ATTEMPTED MURDER – BEAVER DAM
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Oscar Quinonez, 24, of Beaver Dam, and
Emilo Jose Flores, 24, of Desert Springs, and Jose Manuel Landeros, 18, of
Beaver Dam Saturday (10/15) afternoon. Quinonez, Flores and Landeros were
arrested for attempted murder, aggravated assault with deadly weapon, and
burglary, all felonies. Approximately 4:21 p.m., deputies responded to a weapons
offense call in the 3100 block of C Pioneer Road and contacted the 47-year-old
male victim. The victim reported that earlier that morning that he and a few men
had a confrontation and that the same men returned to his house this afternoon
at about 4:00 p.m. The victim further reported that Flores was standing in his
dinning room with a gun when Flores shot at him and missed. Flores was
accompanied by Quinonez and Landeros. Deputies contacted a witness and the
witness said that Flores shot at the victim and Flores also pointed the gun at
him. At about 4:46 p.m. deputies contacted Quinonez at Shadow Mountain Lane off
of Farm Road. Quinonez was taken into custody without incident. During
conversations with Quinonez, he admitted to being at the victim’s house with
friends. Deputies proceeded to contact Flores and Landeros. Flores was contacted
at a residence in the 400 block of Shadow Mountain Lane and took him into
custody without incident. During conversations with Flores, he denied any
knowledge of the incident. A record check showed Flores to have a felony warrant
for failure to appear issued out of Maricopa County. Quinonez and Flores were
transported and booked into the Mesquite Jail and later transported to the
Mohave County Jail. At about 5:35 p.m., Landeros came into the Beaver Dam
Station as he knew deputies were attempting to contact him. During conversations
with Landeros, he said that he was at the victim’s residence earlier with
Quinonez and Flores and that he heard the shot fired. Landeros was taken into
custody, transported and booked into the Mesquite Jail without incident
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Raul Rodriguez, 32, of Mohave Valley,
Thursday (10/13) evening for disorderly conduct/domestic violence, a
misdemeanor. Approximately 8:45 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the
9700 block of Arizona Drive and contacted the 26-year-old female victim. The
victim reported that her husband, Rodriguez, was causing a scene in front of
their house where he was being loud and argumentative. Rodriguez was taken into
custody without incident. Rodriguez was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA/PAROLE VIOLATION – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Walter Lee Henry, 52, of Kingman,
Thursday (10/13) evening for possession of drug paraphernalia and a parole
violation warrant issued out of Sacramento, California, both felonies.
Approximately 9:27 p.m., while deputies were patrolling an area they observed a
male subject walking down the street and throw something on the ground, which
was later identified as a piece of paper. Deputies contacted the subject
identified as Henry at N Benton Street and Butler Avenue. A record check showed
Henry to have an outstanding warrant. Henry was taken into custody without
incident. A search of Henry revealed a syringe. Henry was transported and booked
into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – DOLAN SPRINGS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Samantha Sue Vanhorn, 23, of Dolan
Springs, early Tuesday (10/11) evening on a felony warrant for forgery issued by
Mohave County Superior Court. Approximately 5:25 p.m., deputies contacted
Vanhorn in the 17000 block of Maywood Drive regarding her outstanding warrant.
Vanhorn was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County
Jail without incident.
SUSPENDED LICENSE – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Nolberto Graciano, 27, of Lake Havasu
City, Wednesday (10/12) morning for driving with suspended license and two
warrants for contempt of court issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court and
failure to appear issued by Lake Havasu City Justice Court, all misdemeanors.
Approximately 10:05 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of
London Bridge Road and Chenoweth Drive and contacted Graciano. A record check
showed Graciano to have outstanding warrants and a suspended driver’s license.
Graciano was taken into custody without incident. Graciano was transported and
booked into the Mohave County District III Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Mark Edward Tuecke, 45, of Mohave
Valley, Wednesday (10/12) morning on a misdemeanor warrant for issuing bad check
issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 10:18 a.m., deputies responded to
a trespasser in the 8200 block of Boundary Peak Road and contacted the reporting
party. The reporting party said that she had repeatedly asked her nephew, Tuecke,
to leave her property and he would not. A record check showed Tuecke to have
outstanding warrant. Deputies contacted Tuecke and took him into custody without
incident. Tuecke was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Simon Wesley Setzer, 21, of Needles,
Calif., early Thursday (10/13) morning for possession of drug paraphernalia, a
felony, and a misdemeanor warrant for interfering with judicial proceedings
issued by Bullhead City Justice Court. Ian Patrick Grimes, 18, of Oatman, was
cited for possession of fireworks and released. Approximately 12:30 a.m.,
deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 95 at Camp Mohave and contacted
Setzer. Setzer could not provide deputies with a driver’s license, registration
or insurance on the vehicle. A record check showed Setzer to have an outstanding
warrant and a suspended driver’s license. Setzer was taken into custody without
incident. Deputies contacted passenger Grimes and had him exit the vehicle. A
search of the vehicle revealed a pipe in the glove box and a bag of fireworks
located in the backseat. During conversations with Setzer, he admitted to owning
the pipe and Grimes admitted to owning the fireworks. Setzer was transported and
booked into the Mohave County District II Substation. Setzer was also cited for
suspended plates, no current registration and no mandatory insurance. The
vehicle was towed from the scene.
THEFT/TRAFFICKING IN STOLEN PROPERTY – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested James Lee Mitchell, 23, and Anthony
Paul Schneider, 21, of Bullhead City, Wednesday (10/12) evening. Mitchell was
arrested for theft, trafficking in stolen property, failure to register as a sex
offender, and a fugitive from justice warrant issued out of California on
12-2-03, all felonies. Schneider was arrested for theft and trafficking in
stolen property, felonies. Approximately 1:11 p.m., deputies responded to a
theft report at a business located in the 4700 block of Highway 95 and contacted
the manager. The manager reported Mitchell, a former employee, had stolen
merchandise and cash from the business. Deputies were informed of the type of
vehicle Mitchell drove and that he was a frequent customer to a nearby business
in the 4700 block of Highway 95. At about 3:51 p.m., the manager contacted and
informed the deputy that at their Bullhead City store that Mitchell’s roommate,
identified as Schneider, attempted to pawn an item which was reported missing
from the Fort Mohave store. At about 6:31 p.m. further investigations led
deputies to the 4700 block of Highway 95 where they observed Mitchell’s vehicle
parked in the parking lot and Mitchell sitting at a table with another male
subject. Deputies knew Mitchell to have an outstanding warrant. Mitchell was
taken into custody without incident. Deputies learned that the male subject
sitting at the table with Mitchell was Schneider. Deputies contacted Schneider.
Schneider was taken into custody without incident. During conversations with
Schneider, he said that Mitchell gave him an item to pawn for cash. During
conversations with Mitchell, he denied any involvement. Mitchell and Schneider
were transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – GOLDEN SHORES
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Nicole Christine Montoya, 35, of
Golden Shores, early Tuesday (10/11) evening on a probation violation felony
warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court. Approximately 6:05 p.m.,
deputies contacted Montoya at a business in the 12000 block of Highway 95
regarding her outstanding warrant. Montoya was taken into custody, transported
and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation without incident.
AGGRAVATED DUI – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested James Donald Bruce, 42, of Bullhead
City, Tuesday (10/11) evening for aggravated DUI, a felony. Approximately 6:48
p.m., deputies were informed of a possible intoxicated driver traveling on
Highway 95 weaving erratically. Deputies were given a description of the vehicle
being a grey Dodge pick-up truck and a license plate number. Deputies proceeded
to the area of Aztec Road and Highway 95 where they observed the vehicle parked
in a business parking lot. Deputies observed a male subject identified as Bruce
enter the vehicle and sit in the driver’s seat. Deputies contacted Bruce and
smelled an odor of alcohol on him. During conversations with Bruce, he said that
he drove to the location. Further conversations with Bruce, he admitted to have
been drinking. A record check showed Bruce to have a suspended driver’s license
due to previous DUI’s. Bruce was taken into custody and transported to the
Mohave County District II Substation where an analysis revealed his blood
alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .28%. He was booked into the jail without
incident.
AGGRAVATED ROBBERY/AGGRAVATED ASSAULT – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert Nicholas Martinez, 22, and
Robert Nicholas Vasquez, 38, of Fort Mohave, late Tuesday (10/11) evening.
Martinez was arrested for aggravated robbery, criminal trespassing, aggravated
assault and aggravated assault on law enforcement officer, all felonies. Vasquez
was arrested for aggravated robbery and criminal trespassing, felonies.
Approximately 11:59 p.m., deputies responded to a robbery in progress in the
5500 block of Paseo Redondo Court. Deputies contacted a 39-year-old male victim
and a 46-year-old male victim. Both victims’ reported that Martinez and Vasquez
allowed themselves into their residence and conformed one of the victims’ about
owning them money. During the confrontation, the 46-year-old male victim was
struck in the face by Martinez. Deputies observed a laceration to the victims’
right eyebrow. Martinez and Vasquez left the scene prior to the deputy’s
arrival. Deputies located and arrested Vasquez as his residence in the 4500
block of Camino Viuda Street. Fort Mohave Tribal Police assisted and located
Martinez in the 4500 block of Camino Erjercit. As Fort Mohave Tribal Police were
taking Martinez into custody, he struggled and kicked a police officer. Fort
Mohave Tribal Police further restrained Martinez. Martinez and Vasquez were
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation without
further incident.
AGGRAVATED DUI – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Virgil Poleviyaoma, 53, of Kingman,
Friday (10/7) afternoon for two counts of aggravated DUI, felonies. At
approximately 4:30 p.m., deputies were in the 4000 block of Pinal Street on an
unrelated call. Prior to the deputies leaving the scene, Poleviyaoma pulled into
a driveway and requested to speak with the deputy. During conversations,
deputies observed an unrestrained 1 year-old male passenger in the vehicle.
Deputies also smelled alcohol on Poleviyaoma and observed an open container of
beer inside the vehicle. Following field sobriety tests (FST’s), Poleviyaoma was
taken into custody without incident. A record check showed Poleviyaoma to have a
suspended driver’s license. Poleviyaoma was transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail where his blood was drawn and submitted to Department of
Public Safety Lab for analysis.
CREDIT CARD THEFT/DRUGS/DRUGS PARAPHERNALIA – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Clayton Clark, 43, and Larry
Dale Van Blarcom, 47, of Bullhead City, early Friday (10/7) evening. Clark was
arrested for credit card theft, 8 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia,
felonies, and a misdemeanor warrant. Van Blarcom was arrested for possession of
dangerous drugs and 10 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies.
Approximately 6:36 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 95 at
Cimmaron Boulevard and contacted Clark, the driver. A record check showed Clark
to have a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear issued by Bullhead City
Justice Court on original charges of driving with suspended license. Clark was
taken into custody without incident. Deputies contacted passenger, Van Blarcom.
During conversations with Van Blarcom, he admitted to having drug paraphernalia
on him. A search of Van Blarcom revealed 9 syringes, a spoon with white residue
and a plastic bag containing methamphetamine. Van Blarcom was taken into custody
without incident. A search of the vehicle revealed 6 syringes, a glass pipe and
a glass container. Deputies also located a stolen credit card in the bed of the
truck. Further investigations led deputies to contact the 48-year-old male
victim. The victim said that the credit card was probably stolen from his mail
box, as he had never received it. Clark and Van Blarcom was transported and
booked into the Mohave County District II Substation without incident. The
vehicle was towed from the scene.
SOLICITATION/PROSTITUTION – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jeffery William Hangholt, 40, of Lake
Havasu City, Friday (10/7) evening for solicitation, felony, and prostitution,
misdemeanor. Approximately 9:55 p.m., deputies responded to a solicitation
report at a business located at Tourmaline and London Bridge Road. Deputies
contacted a witness. The witness said that a male subject was attempting to
solicit two young females in front of a business. The witness further said that
the male subject left in a white pick-up truck. Deputies contacted both of the
female victims, ages 15 and 16. Both victims said that the male subject
approached them and offered them cash in exchange for sex. Shortly thereafter,
deputies located the vehicle and contacted the male subject identified as Hangholt inside a business located in the 3500 block of London Bridge Road. Both
female victims identified Hangholt as the male subject which approached them.
During conversations with Hangholt, he denied any involvement with the victims.
Hangholt was taken into custody without incident. Hangholt was transported and
booked into the Mohave County District III Substation.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joseph Lee Kinnear, 31, of Kingman,
early Saturday (10/8) morning for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony,
DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08%, extreme DUI with a blood
alcohol concentration over .15%, misdemeanors. Approximately 12:29 a.m.,
deputies responded to a single vehicle accident in the 3900 block of John L
Avenue and contacted the driver identified as Kinnear. During conversations with
Kinnear, he said that he was not injured and did not need medical attention.
Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Kinnear. During conversations with
Kinnear, he admitted to have been drinking. Following the field sobriety tests (FST’s),
Kinnear was taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County Jail where
an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .185%. He was
booked into the jail without incident. A search of the vehicle revealed a pipe
with an odor of marijuana. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Manuela Michele Ruiz, 19, of Fort
Mohave, early Saturday (10/8) evening for disorderly conduct/domestic violence,
a misdemeanor. Approximately 6:11 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance call
in the 1300 block of Torrance Road. Deputies heard a male subject and female
subject yelling and screaming at one another. Deputies contacted both subjects
and encouraged them to calm down and discontinue their loud and vulgar language.
The male subject complied but the female subject, identified as Ruiz, continued
to be loud and belligerent. Ruiz was taken into custody without incident. Ruiz
was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
DRUGS – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Trey Edmond Tyree, 18, of Kingman,
early Sunday (10/9) morning for possession of dangerous drugs. Approximately
1:00 a.m., deputies contacted Tyree as he was riding a bicycle in the 4400 block
of N Irving Street. During conversations with Tyree, he admitted to having
something in his pocket. A search of Tyree revealed a plastic bag containing a
white substance which later tested positive for methamphetamine. Tyree was taken
into custody without incident. Tyree was transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested James Carlton Harrington, 28, of
Desert Hills, early Sunday (10/9) afternoon on an outstanding warrant.
Approximately 12:41 p.m., deputies contacted Harrington in the 1700 block of N
Palo Verde as a passenger in a vehicle which was stopped for a violation. A
record check showed Harrington to have a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of
court issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court. Ruiz was taken into custody
without incident. Ruiz was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert Joseph Harwood, 28, of Golden
Valley, late Sunday (10/9) afternoon on a probation violation felony warrant
issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 4:35 p.m., deputies contacted
Harwood on an unrelated incident in the 3600 block of Bluebird Lane. A record
check showed Harwood to have an outstanding warrant. Harwood was taken into
custody without incident. Harwood was transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Timber Dawn Fields, 30, of Kingman,
Sunday (10/9) evening for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony.
Approximately 8:13 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at N Lomita and Neal
Street and contacted Fields, the driver. Fields gave deputies consent to search
the vehicle. A search revealed a pipe with burnt residue and a small piece of
straw rolled in a paper towel. Fields was taken into custody, transported and
booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Charlene Kay Hoffland, 29, of Kingman,
Monday (10/10) evening for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony, and two
warrants. Approximately 7:56 p.m., deputies responded to the 2400 block of
Devlin Avenue regarding a female who was trespassing on a property. Deputies
contacted the female, identified as Hoffland, as she stood in front of a
residence. A record check showed Hoffland to have two misdemeanor warrants for
contempt of court issued by Kingman Justice Court and probation violation issued
by Kingman Municipal Court. Hoffland was taken into custody. Hoffland’s vehicle
was at the scene with the driver’s side door open. A search of the vehicle
revealed a syringe. Hoffland was transported and booked into the Mohave County
Jail without incident.
WEAPONS OFFENSE – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Edward Dana Beaver, 49, of Golden
Valley, early Sunday (10/9) evening for possession of weapon by prohibited
person and disorderly conduct with a weapon, both felonies. Approximately 5:25
p.m., deputies responded to a weapons offense in the 2400 of Estrella Road and
contacted the 44-year-old female victim. The victim reported that as she was
getting out of her vehicle that she heard a rifle shot. The victim further
reported that she observed a male person behind another residence ducking inside
an open garage in the 7500 block of Shinarump Drive. Deputies contacted the male
subject, identified as Beaver at a residence in the 7500 block of Shinarump
Drive. During conversations with Beaver, he admitted to firing a couple of
rounds to clear the rifle. A record check showed Beaver to have past felony
charges. Beaver was taken into custody without incident. Deputies located and
confiscated the .22 caliber rifle. Beaver was transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail without incident.
HUNTING ACCIDENT – DESERT HILLS
On Friday (10/7), Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Lake Havasu
Regional Medical Center in reference to an accidental shooting. Deputies
contacted the 58-year-old male victim. The victim reported that he was out in
the Falls Springs Wash area at the foothills, northeast of Lake Havasu City, for
opening day of quail hunting season. The victim said that there were numerous
other hunters in the area and that he parked his vehicle on top of a mesa to be
more visible to the other hunters. As the victim was exiting his vehicle, quail
flew by and several hunters fired at the quail. The victim was struck by several
pellets near his right eye and numerous pellets to his left shoulder. The
victims’ injuries were non-life threatening. Arizona Game and Fish Department
was contacted and advised of the incident.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Janet Lee Moore, 45, of Golden Valley,
Thursday (10/6) afternoon for criminal damage, a felony, DUI and criminal
damage, misdemeanors. Approximately 2:21 p.m., deputies responded to the area of
Bryce and Burro Road where a vehicle had driven into a fence. Deputies observed
a white Chevy S-10 pick-up truck that had driven into a fence and the driver,
later identified as Moore, was getting out of the vehicle. Moore approached the
deputy and admitted to driving the truck while she was drunk. Deputies observed
Moore having a difficult time walking and almost falling down. Deputies smelled
an odor of alcohol on Moore. Moore was detained and put in the back seat of the
patrol unit while the deputy began conducting the accident investigation. While
deputies were speaking with the owner of the fence, Moore began kicking the rear
passenger door of the patrol unit. Deputies calmed Moore down and attempted to
continue with the investigation until Moore started kicking the window in the
passenger door. Moore resisted orders and would not comply with the deputy’s
commands as she attempted to get out of the vehicle. Deputies further restrained
Moore with pepper spray. Golden Valley Fire Department responded and treated
Moore. Moore was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without
further incident. Moore refused to take the blood alcohol concentration (BAC)
test. Deputies observed the right rear passenger door of the patrol unit was
damaged and determined approximately 24 feet of fence and 4 posts were damaged.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – YUCCA
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert Lee Dorris, 58, of Yucca, early
Thursday (10/6) evening for assault/domestic violence and driving with suspended
license, misdemeanors. Approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies contacted a 36-year-old
male victim in front of a market in Yucca. The victim reported that he and his
father-in-law, Dorris, were arguing when Dorris hit him in the face. Deputies
observed a cut inside the victims’ mouth. The victim refused medical treatment.
While deputies were speaking with the victim, they observed Dorris driving by in
a truck. Deputies contacted Dorris at a residence in the 3000 block of Mine
Road. During conversations with Dorris, he admitted to slamming the victim in
the mouth. Dorris was taken into custody without incident. A record check showed
Dorris to have a suspended driver’s license. Dorris was transported and booked
into the Mohave County District II Substation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Morgan Marie Riedel, 21, of Fort
Mohave, early Friday (10/7) morning for disorderly conduct/domestic violence, a
misdemeanor. Approximately 11:35 p.m. Thursday evening, deputies were approached
by a male subject at Camp Mohave Road and Highway 95. The male subject informed
deputies that Riedel was fighting with her ex-boyfriend. Deputies contacted
Riedel and her ex-boyfriend as they were walking in the 4400 block of Calle
Viveza Street. The 31-year-old ex-boyfriend/victim reported that Riedel was
upset and hit him. Deputies contacted a witness and the witness confirmed the
victims’ statements. Riedel was taken into custody without incident. Riedel was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Adriana Lee Paul, 21, of Fort Mohave,
early Friday (10/7) morning for disorderly conduct/domestic violence, a
misdemeanor. Approximately 2:04 a.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the
4400 block of Calle Del Media and contacted the 25-year-old male victim. The
victim reported that his wife, Paul, picked up a knife while he was sitting in a
chair in the kitchen. The victim further reported that he went into the living
room where she followed him with two knifes. Deputies contacted Paul. During
conversations with Paul, she said that they were arguing and she was holding a
knife, but she never threatened the victim. Paul was taken into custody without
incident. Paul was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kevin Ray Braziel, 22, of Kingman,
Wednesday (10/5) morning on a parole violation felony warrant issued out of
Arizona Department of Corrections. Approximately 8:20 a.m., deputies contacted
Braziel in the 3100 block of John L Avenue regarding his outstanding warrant.
Braziel was taken into custody without incident. Braziel was transported and
booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Eugene Chavez Sr., 26, of
Needles, Calif., Wednesday (10/5) evening for possession of drug paraphernalia,
a felony, and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear issued by Bullhead
City Justice Court. Approximately 8:48 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop
on Highway 95 at Willow Drive and contacted Chavez, the driver. A record check
showed Chavez to have an outstanding warrant. A search of the vehicle revealed a
measuring device with white residue which field tested positive for
methamphetamine. Chavez was taken into custody without incident. Chavez was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation. The
vehicle was towed from the scene.
BURGLARY/AGGRAVATED CRIMINAL DAMAGE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Loretta Charlette Mills-Lambert, 45,
of Needles, Calif., late Wednesday (10/5) evening for burglary and aggravated
criminal damage, felonies. Approximately 11:31 p.m., deputies responded to a
disturbance in the 1000 block of Dike Road and contacted the 48-year-old male
victim. The victim reported that his ex-girlfriend, Mills-Lambert, came to his
residence and broke a window. The suspect’s vehicle was parked partially in the
roadway and blocking the victims’ driveway. Deputies searched the area for
Mills-Lambert without success. A short time later, Mills-Lambert was located
inside the residence, in a bathroom. Mills-Lambert was taken into custody
without incident. Mills-Lambert was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation. Keys to the vehicle were not located; therefore
the vehicle was towed from the scene.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Vance Arthur Davis, 19, of Fort
Mohave, Tuesday (10/4) evening for disorderly conduct with a weapon/domestic
violence, threatening/domestic violence and assault/domestic violence,
misdemeanors. Approximately 9:30 p.m., deputies responded to a weapons call in
the 4400 block of El Toro Drive and contacted a 49-year-old female victim and
51-year-old male victim. The male victim reported that there was an argument and
Davis pointed a rifle at him in a threatening manner. The male victim further
reported that Davis also verbally threatened him. The female victim reported
that Davis pushed her. Deputies contacted Davis at a residence in the 4400 block
of La Calzada. During conversations with Davis, he admitted to threatening the
male victim with the weapon. Deputies confiscated the .22 caliber pellet rifle.
Davis was taken into custody without incident. Davis was transported and booked
into the Mohave County District II Substation.
HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Jack Darrell McGee, 22, of Golden
Valley, Tuesday (10/3) evening for 1st degree murder and two counts of
aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, felonies. Approximately 3:55 p.m.,
deputies responded to a weapons offense call in the 5700 block of Abrigo Drive.
Deputies were advised that two males had been shot and the male suspect left the
scene driving a red Dodge or Plymouth passenger vehicle. Deputies observed a
deceased male subject identified as Billy Dewayne Carlton Jr., 26, of Golden
Valley, with a gunshot wound. Deputies also observed an injured male identified
as Jim Neal McGee, 36, of Kingman. Jim Neal McGee, no relationship to the
suspect, was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center and later flown to
University Medical Center in Las Vegas with gunshot wounds. Deputies contacted
an uninjured third victim, identified as Billy Dewayne Carlton Sr., 53, of
Golden Valley. Carlson Sr. reported that a male subject drove up to the
residence in a red passenger car and pulled out a gun and started shooting. An
ATL (Attempt to Locate) was issued to law enforcement agencies for the suspect
and his red vehicle. The following law enforcement agencies assisted in trying
to located the suspect; DPS, DPS Ranger Helicopter, BLM Rangers, Mohave County
Parks Rangers and Bullhead City Police Department. Approximately 4:40 p.m.
Mohave County Parks Rangers observed a male driver and vehicle fitting the
description from the ATL. Mohave County Parks Rangers conducted a traffic stop
at Highway 68 and McCormick Boulevard and contacted the driver, identified as
Jack Darrell McGee. Bullhead City Police Officers responded and assisted. A
handgun was located on McGee. Mohave County Parks Rangers and BHPD Officers
detained McGee until MCSO Detectives arrived and transported McGee to the Mohave
County Sheriff’s Office in Kingman. Investigations determined that McGee
admitted to being at the residence earlier where the incident occurred. McGee
also admitted to knowing the deceased victim and admitted to shooting at the
three victims. McGee was taken into custody, transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail without incident. This case is under investigation.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joseph Michael Osborne, 27, of
Kingman, Tuesday (10/4) morning on a probation violation felony warrant issued
by Mohave County Superior Court. Approximately 10:12 a.m., deputies responded to
Kingman Regional Medical Center in reference to a warrant arrest. Deputies were
informed that Osborne was being released from the hospital and deputies knew
that Osborne has an outstanding warrant. Deputies contacted Osborne and took him
into custody without incident. Osborne was transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Raymond Luther Moyle, 23, of Kingman,
Tuesday (10/4) afternoon for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug
paraphernalia, felonies, and two warrants. Approximately 1:12 p.m., deputies
observed a male subject walking North on Norrie Street from Thompson Avenue. The
male subject, later identified as Moyle, observed the deputies as they got
closer to him. Moyle began running eastbound in an alley way between Hearne
Avenue and John L Avenue. Deputies located Moyle at Norrie Avenue and John L
Avenue. During conversations with Moyle, he said that he was trying to locate a
friend at the house on the corner. Deputies observed Moyle to be extremely
nervous. A record check showed Moyle to have a parole violation felony warrant
issued by Arizona Department of Corrections and a probation violation
misdemeanor warrant for shoplifting issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Moyle was
taken into custody without incident. A search of Moyle revealed a glass pipe and
a plastic bag containing a crystal substance which field tested positive for
methamphetamine. Moyle was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Krystal Lynn Jimenez, 23, of Mohave
Valley, early Tuesday (10/4) evening for possession of dangerous drugs, two
counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and a warrant for probation
violation issued by Mohave County Superior Court, felonies. Approximately 6:20
p.m., deputies observed Jimenez walking in the area of Kingsley and Mallard
Street. Deputies knew Jimenez to have a felony warrant. Deputies contacted
Jimenez as she was walking westbound on Mallard Street. A record check confirmed
Jimenez to have an outstanding warrant. Jimenez was taken into custody without
incident. A search of Jimenez’s purse revealed a syringe and a cup containing
methamphetamine. Jimenez was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation.

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Charles Edward Robinson, 26, of Lake
Havasu City, early Wednesday (10/5) morning on a misdemeanor warrant for failure
to pay fines issued by Lake Havasu City Justice Court. Approximately 12:05 a.m.,
deputies responded to business located on Highway 95 near Interstate 40
regarding a suspicious male subject. An employee at the business directed
deputies toward the suspicious male subject. Deputies contacted the male
subject, identified as Robinson. A record check showed Robinson to have an
outstanding warrant. Robinson was taken into custody, transported and booked
into the Mohave County District II Substation without incident.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jamey Lee Valentine, 32, of Kingman,
Monday (10/3) morning on five misdemeanor warrants issued by Kingman Municipal
Court; disorderly conduct/probation violation, failure to appear, criminal
damage/domestic violence, shoplifting and failure to pay fines. Approximately
9:36 a.m., deputies contacted Valentine at a residence in the 3000 block of
Butler Avenue regarding his outstanding warrants. Valentine was taken into
custody without incident. Valentine was transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail.
DRUGS/DRUGS PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Peter Anthony Torres Jr., 29, of
Kingman, Monday (10/3) evening for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of
drug paraphernalia, felonies, and driving with a suspended license, a
misdemeanor. Approximately 8:50 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at
Northern Avenue and Castle Rock Road. Deputies contacted Torres, the driver. A
record check showed Torres to have a suspended driver’s license out of Idaho.
Torres was taken into custody without incident. A search revealed Torres to be
in possession of a syringe and a plastic bag containing a crystal substance
which field tested positive for methamphetamine. Deputies cited and released
passenger Hanna Torres, 29, of Kingman, for open container in a vehicle. Torres
was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DRUGS/DRUGS PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Marylou Louise Martin, 19, of Kingman,
Monday (10/3) evening for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug
paraphernalia, felonies, and three warrants. Approximately 10:54 p.m., deputies
contacted Martin while she was riding a bicycle in the area of Bank Street and
Snavely Avenue. A record check showed Martin to have the following misdemeanor
warrants; failure to appear on original charge of shoplifting issued by Cerbat
Justice Court, failure to appear and intimidation/stalking, both issued by
Kingman Justice Court. Martin was taken into custody without incident. A search
of Martin’s backpack revealed a plastic bag containing methamphetamine and a
glass pipe. Martin was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Karla J. Bhat, 33, of Mohave Valley,
Saturday (10/1) evening for assault/domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Approximately 9:40 p.m., deputies responded to a 911 call in the 7800 block of
Teal Street and contacted Bhat. Bhat reported that she had been arguing with her
boyfriend all day and she admitted to hitting him first. Deputies contacted the
24-year-old male victim. The victim reported that they were arguing and it
became a physical confrontation. Deputies observed injuries to the victim. Bhat
was taken into custody without incident. Bhat was transported and booked into
the Mohave County District II Substation.
DUI – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kenneth Joseph Pesetsky, 43, of
Bullhead City, early Friday (9/30) evening for DUI, a misdemeanor. Pesetsky was
court committed and was reporting to the Mohave County District II Substation.
During the booking process, the Detention Officer smelled an odor of alcohol on
Pesetsky and knew that Pesetsky had driven himself to the Substation. The
Detention Officer notified a deputy and the deputy contacted Pesetsky. During
conversations with Pesetsky, he admitted to having been drinking. Pesetsky was
booked into the jail without incident.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Constance Dianne Smith, 55, of
Kingman, Saturday (10/1) evening for aggravated assault with a deadly
weapon/domestic violence, a felony. Approximately 8:50 p.m., deputies responded
to a weapons offense call in the 11500 block of Rock Road. Deputies were
informed that a male subject was shot by his wife. When deputies arrived, they
observed a female subject, later identified as Smith, standing in the doorway of
the residence. Deputies approached Smith cautiously and took her into custody
without incident. Deputies located the 67-year-old male victim sitting outside
of the residence. The victim reported that he and his wife, Smith, were arguing
and she shot him in the chest. Valle Vista Fire Department, River Medical
Ambulance and Kingman Ranger responded and assisted. The victim was transported
to Kingman Regional Medical Center by River Medical and was later flown to
University Medical Center in Las Vegas. Deputies located and confiscated
multiple weapons inside the residence. Smith was transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Ashley Marie Galindo, 18, of Kingman,
Friday (9/30) evening for aggravated assault/domestic violence, a felony.
Approximately 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence call in the
2600 block of Hope Road and contacted the 13-year-old female victim. The victim
reported that she and her sister, Galindo, were arguing. During the altercation,
Galindo threatened to stab the victim with a knife. The victims’ finger was cut
when she attempted to take the knife from Galindo. Deputies observed a small cut
to the victim’s finger. Deputies located and confiscated the kitchen knife which
was on the sink. Deputies contacted Galindo and took her into custody without
incident. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jay Louis Thomason Jr., 31, of
Kingman, Friday (9/30) evening on a felony warrant for theft of means of
transportation issued by Kingman Justice Court and a misdemeanor warrant for
failure to appear issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Approximately 8:30 p.m.,
deputies responded to a disturbance in the 2900 block of Northern Avenue and
contacted Thomason. A record check showed Thomason to have outstanding warrants.
Thomason was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked
into the Mohave County Jail.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – GOLDEN SHORES
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Gerald James Griffith, 65, of Topock,
early Friday (9/30) evening for assault/domestic violence and criminal
damage/domestic violence, misdemeanors. Approximately 4:05 p.m., deputies
responded to an assault call in the 13000 block of Shore Place and contacted the
52-year-old male victim. The victim reported his landlord, Griffith, became
upset with him and started hitting him. The victim further reported that
Griffith damaged his television. Deputies observed bleeding and injuries to the
victims’ arms and left knee. Golden Shores Fire Department responded and treated
the victim. Deputies observed two damaged televisions. Deputies contacted
Griffith and took him into custody without incident. He was transported and
booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/WARRANT ARREST – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tracy Lynn Torney, 44, and Oren Kevin
Rockwell, 47, of Mohave Valley, early Saturday (10/1) morning. Torney was
arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Rockwell was
arrested on two misdemeanor warrants; both for failure to appear on original
charges of assault and disorderly conduct/domestic violence, issued by Bullhead
City Justice Court. On Friday evening, at about 11:36 p.m., deputies responded
to a domestic violence call in the 1800 block of Plantation Road and contacted
Rockwell, the victim. The victim reported that he and his wife, Torney, were
traveling home in their vehicle when Torney struck him multiple times. Deputies
contacted Torney and she admitted to hitting the victim. A record check was
conducted on both individuals and showed Rockwell to have two outstanding
warrants. Torney and Rockwell were taken into custody without incident. Torney
and Rockwell were transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Steven Ray Rubio, 38, of Kingman,
early Saturday (10/1) morning for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony,
and driving with suspended license, a misdemeanor. Approximately 1:41 a.m.,
deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 4400 block of N Lomita Street and
contacted Rubio, the driver. A record check showed Rubio’s driver’s license to
be suspended. Rubio was taken into custody without incident. A search of the
vehicle revealed a glass pipe. Rubio was transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
AGGRAVATED DUI – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Casey Ryan Nelson, 28, of Lake Havasu
City, early Saturday (10/1) morning for aggravated DUI, a felony, DUI, DUI with
a blood alcohol concentration over .08%, exceed 85 miles per hour and driving
with suspended license due to DUI, misdemeanors. Approximately 1:49 a.m.,
deputies conducted a traffic stop on a brown 1998 Chevy Monte Carlo traveling,
100 mph in a posted 55 mph, south on Highway 95 at milepost 179. Deputies
contacted Nelson, the driver. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Nelson.
During conversations with Nelson, he admitted to having two beers earlier. A
record check revealed Nelson to have a suspended driver’s license. Nelson
refused to take the field sobriety tests (FST’s) and the blood alcohol
concentration (BAC) test. Nelson was taken into custody, transported and booked
into the Mohave County District III Substation without incident. The vehicle was
towed from the scene.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kenneth Howard Jensen, 44, of Fort
Mohave, Saturday (10/1) afternoon for aggravated assault on a minor/domestic
violence, a felony. Approximately 2:51 p.m., deputies responded to an assault
call in the 1600 block of Dunlap Road and contacted the 14-year-old male victim.
The victim reported that his step-father, Jensen, assault him by grabbing him
around his neck. Deputies contacted Jensen. During conversations with Jensen, he
said that he disciplined his son for not doing his chores. Jensen was taken into
custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation
without incident.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Desiree M. Kendall, 22, of Kingman,
early Saturday (10/1) evening for possession of marijuana, possession of drug
paraphernalia, felonies, and two misdemeanor warrants for failure to pay fines
and disorderly conduct and criminal damage, both issued by Kingman Municipal
Court. Approximately 4:02 p.m., a female, identified as Kendall, contacted
deputies at the Butler Substation located on Northern Avenue. During
conversations with Kendall, she said that people were going to kill her.
Deputies observed Kendall to be crying one minute and being paranoid the next.
At times, Kendall’s stories were inconsistent and did not make sense. Deputies
asked Kendall if there were any drugs in her vehicle and she replied there
weren’t. The K-9 Handler received consent from Kendall to search her vehicle.
The K-9 alerted his handler to the console area where glass pipes were located.
A search of Kendall’s wallet revealed a plastic bag containing marijuana.
Kendall was taken into custody without incident. A record check showed Kendall
to have outstanding warrants. Kendall was transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Caleb William Casey, 28, and Robert
Anthony Holley, 21, of Fort Mohave, Sunday (10/2) morning. Casey was arrest for
resisting arrest, a felony, and Holley was arrested for trespassing and
obstruction of governmental operations, misdemeanors. Approximately 6:00 a.m.,
deputies responded to a domestic violence call in the 5900 block of Gazelle
Drive. Deputies contacted two male subjects identified as Casey and Holley.
Casey would not cooperate with the deputies orders. After a brief struggle,
Casey was restrained and taken into custody without further incident. While
deputies were arresting Casey, his brother, Holley, was yelling and moving
towards a deputy in an aggressive manner. Holley would not comply with the
deputies orders. Holley was taken into custody. Deputies contacted the
35-year-old female victim. The victim reported that Casey and Holley would not
leave her residence. Casey and Holley were transported and booked into the
Mohave County District II Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kirk Ray Gamblin, 45, of Kingman,
Sunday (10/2) evening on a felony warrant for drug paraphernalia violation
issued by Kingman Justice Court and driving with a suspended license, a
misdemeanor. Approximately 9:40 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on
Highway 95 and Aztec Road and contacted Gamblin, the driver. A record check
showed Gamblin to have an outstanding warrant and a suspended driver’s license.
Gamblin was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation without incident.
$500.00 REWARD - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a reported
burglary at the Black Mountain Elementary School in Golden Valley on Saturday
(7/23). Approximately 3:07 a.m., deputies responded to an alarm at the Black
Mountain Elementary School. Deputies observed smashed computers, television sets
and phones damaged throughout a few classrooms. A hallway along with the Home
Economic Room and Science Room were all damaged with a disarray of items. The
principal also reported that glass windows were broken, three display glass
cases were smashed and doors with glass windows were also broken. Golden Valley
Fire Department responded as there was an unidentified liquid spilled in the
Science Room. GVFD determined the liquid was not hazardous.
Mohave County Sheriff's Office is asking for your assistance in identifying the
person or persons involved in the burglary and vandalism at Black Mountain
Elementary School in Golden Valley. If anyone has any information, please
