WEAPON OFFENSE – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Dewey A. Calabries, 54, of Golden
Valley, Thursday (9/28) afternoon for two counts of aggravated assault with a
deadly weapon, a felony. At approximately 1:00 p.m., deputies responded to a
call in the 6600 block of Burro Drive and contacted the 24 year-old male victim
and 44 year-old female victim. The female victim reported that while at the
residence retrieving her property, Calabries pointed a handgun at them and told
them to leave. The male victim confirmed the incident. Deputies contacted
Calabries who denied owning a handgun but stated he was holding his friends
pistol at the residence. Calabries was taken into custody without incident.
Calabries was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DRUGS – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jome Charles Kenneth Martin, 29, and
Donald Elmer Pace, 45, both of Kingman early Thursday (9/29) morning for
possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. At approximately 12:00 a.m., deputies
conducted a traffic stop in the area of Northern Avenue and Castlerock Road. A
record check showed the driver, Martin to have a suspended driver’s license.
Martin was taken into custody without incident. During a search of the vehicle,
deputies found two bags containing a crystal substance which field tested
positive for methamphetamine. The passenger, Pace stated the methamphetamine
belonged to him. Pace was also taken into custody without incident. Both were
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Carrie Lynn Austin, 24, of Fort Mohave
early Thursday (9/29) morning on two outstanding warrants. At approximately 6:00
a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 4500 block of Highway 95 and
contacted Austin, the driver. A record check showed Austin to have a felony
warrant for failure to appear issued by Mohave County Superior Court and a
misdemeanor warrant for interfering with judicial proceedings, issued by
Bullhead City Justice Court. Austin was taken into custody without incident. She
was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
ASSAULT – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Douglas John Sieker, 44, of Lake
Havasu City on Tuesday (9/27) evening for domestic violence/assault, a
misdemeanor. At approximately 9:30 p.m., deputies responded to a call in the
4000 block of Blue Canyon Road and contacted the 15 year-old male victim. The
victim reported that during an argument, Sieker hit him in the face several
times before leaving the residence. Deputies contacted Sieker in the 1700 block
of Firefly. Sieker told deputies that during an argument, he slapped the victim
in the face. Sieker was taken into custody without incident. Sieker was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District III Sub-station.
CONTEMPT OF COURT – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Dewayne David Osborne, 34, of Kingman
on Wednesday (9/28) evening for interfering with judicial proceedings/domestic
violence, a misdemeanor. At approximately 1:30 p.m., deputies contacted the 32
year-old female victim at the sheriff’s office. The victim reported that she has
a valid order of protection again Osborne. The victim further advised that at
approximately 9:00 a.m., she received a message on her telephone from Osborne,
which she played for the deputy. Deputies confirmed the order of protection. At
approximately 7:00 p.m., deputies contacted Osborne in the 2800 block of Andy
Devine Avenue. Osborne was taken into custody without incident. A record check
also showed Osborne to have a warrant for domestic violence/assault issued by
Kingman Justice Court and a warrant for nonpayment of child support issued by
Mohave County Superior Court, both misdemeanors. Osborne was transported and
booked into the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
WARRANT ARREST – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Billy Charles Lawrence, 18, of Mohave
on Tuesday (9/27) evening for an outstanding felony warrant. At approximately
5:00 p.m., deputies contacted Lawrence at a residence in the 1600 block of
Plantation Road. A record check showed Lawrence to have a felony warrant for
failure to appear issued by Mohave County Superior Court. Lawrence was taken
into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Sub-station.
WARRANT ARREST – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Pamela Jane McDowell, 50, of Mohave
Valley on Tuesday (9/27) for an outstanding warrant. At about 5:30 p.m.,
deputies contacted McDowell at a residence in the 2000 block of Hackamore Drive.
A record check showed McDowell to have a misdemeanor warrant for interfering
with judicial proceedings issued by Bullhead City Justice Court. McDowell was
taken into custody. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Sub-station without incident.
CONTEMPT OF COURT – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Patricia Jane Biunno, 45, of Fort
Mohave on Tuesday (9/27) morning for failure to comply with a court order, a
misdemeanor. At approximately 9:00 a.m., deputies responded to a call in the
5300 block of Tierra Linda Drive and contacted Biunno. Biunno stated she was at
the residence and wanted to retrieve her property. Deputies contacted the 46
year-old male victim who told deputies that Biunno had come to the residence
banging on the doors and yelling. Biunno advised deputies that he had a valid
order of protection against Biunno. A record check confirmed the order of
protection. Biunno was taken into custody without incident. She was transported
and booked into the Mohave County District II Sub-station
DRUGS – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Dan Leroy Griffin Jr., 38, of Golden
Valley on Monday (9/26) evening for possession of dangerous drugs and possession
of drug paraphernalia, felonies. At approximately 11:00 p.m., deputies conducted
a traffic stop in the area of Highway 68 and Teddy Roosevelt. A record check
showed Griffin to have a suspended driver’s license. Griffin was taken into
custody without incident. A search revealed Griffin to be in possession of two
plastic bags containing a crystal substance which field tested positive for
methamphetamine. Prior to the vehicle being towed from the scene, deputies
searched the vehicle and located two glass pipes and a scale lying in the back
seat along with another plastic bag containing methamphetamine. Griffin was
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joshua Michael Moulton, 22, of Lake
Havasu City on Monday (9/26) evening for an outstanding felony warrant. At
approximately 7:00 p.m., deputies contacted Moulton on McCulloch Blvd. at London
Bridge. A record check revealed Moulton to have a felony warrant for probation
violation issued by Lake Havasu City Justice Court. Moulton was taken into
custody without incident. Moulton was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District III Sub-station.
WARRANT ARREST – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert Joseph Galaviz Jr., 26, of Lake
Havasu City on Monday (9/26) evening for two outstanding warrants. At
approximately 9:30 p.m., deputies contacted Galaviz in the area of London Bridge
Road and Tourmaline. A record check showed Galaviz to have a warrant for failure
to appear issued by Lake Havasu City Justice Court and a warrant for interfering
with judicial proceedings issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court, both
misdemeanors. Galaviz was taken into custody without incident. He was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District III Sub-station.
WARRANT ARREST – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Maureen Christine Capwell, 54, of
Desert Hills on Monday (9/26) for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. At
approximately 5:00 p.m., deputies contacted Capwell at a residence in the 1000
block of Vista Drive. A record check showed Capwell to have a warrant for
failure to appear issued by Lake Havasu City Justice Court. Capwell was taken
into custody without incident. She was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District III Sub-station.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jason Lee Mollett, 21, of Kingman, on
Friday (9/23) evening for domestic violence/disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.
At approximately 9:00 p.m., deputies responded to a call in the 3300 block of
Boquillas Drive and contacted the 23 year-old female victim. The victim reported
that they were involved in a verbal altercation. The victim was visibly upset
and reported she was afraid that Mollett was going to assault her. A record
check showed Mollett to have a misdemeanor warrant for shoplifting issued out of
Kingman Municipal Court and a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court issued
by Kingman Justice Court. Mollett was taken into custody without incident.
Mollett was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested David Merrill Clayton, 38, of Kingman
on Sunday (9/25) for domestic violence/criminal damage, misdemeanor. At
approximately 5:00 p.m., deputies responded to a residence in the 2200 block of
Potter Avenue. Deputies met with the victim, a 40 year-old female. The victim
reported she was involved in a verbal altercation with Clayton. The victim told
deputies that during the altercation, Clayton cut the telephone line and caused
damage to a bedroom door. Deputies observed the damages to the door. Clayton was
contacted and admitted to being involved in an altercation. Clayton was taken
into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Dale Ken Denisoff, 46, of Kingman on
Saturday (9/24) evening for domestic violence/criminal damage and trespassing, a
misdemeanor. At approximately 8:00 p.m., deputies responded to a call at a
business in the 9600 block of Concho Drive and met with the 39 year-old female
victim. The victim reported that Denisoff had arrived at her location and
attempted to gain entry. The victim told deputies that after not being able to
open the door, Denisoff went to her vehicle and flattened her tires before
leaving the area. Upon speaking with the manager of the business, he provided
deputies with a copy of MCSO report taken on 9/11/05 in which Denisoff was
advised not to return to the location or he would be arrested for trespassing.
Deputies contacted Denisoff at a residence in the 8100 block of Highway 66.
Denisoff denied damaging the tires on the victim’s vehicle. Denisoff was taken
into custody without incident. Denisoff was transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail.
DUI – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Charles Clement Bickett, 44, of Lake
Havasu City, early Sunday (9/25) morning for DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol
concentration over .08%, extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over
.15%, misdemeanors. Approximately 12:00 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop
in the area of Pero Drive and Ervin and contacted Bickett, the driver. Deputies
smelled an odor of alcohol on Bickett. During conversations with Bickett, he
admitted to have been drinking. Following the field sobriety tests (FST’s),
Bickett was taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County Jail where
an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .163%. Bickett
was booked into the Mohave County District III Sub-station without incident.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested William John Easley, 37, of Kingman
early Monday (9/26) morning for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony. At
approximately 1:30 a.m., deputies observed a male subject walking in the area of
Devlin Avenue and Bank Street. Deputies contacted the male, identified as
Easley. A record check showed Easley to have a warrant for failure to appear
issued by Kingman Justice Court and a warrant for driving on a suspended
driver’s license issued by Kingman Municipal Court, both misdemeanors. A search
prior to arrest revealed Easley to be in possession of a marijuana smoking
device located in his pants pocket. Easley was taken into custody without
incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Thomas Mitchell Stisi Jr., 37, of
Kingman early Sunday (925) morning for an outstanding warrant. At approximately
1:00 a.m., deputies responded to a call of disturbance in the 14700 block of
Highway 95. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the parties involved who stated the
incident had been resolved. A record check showed Stisi to have a misdemeanor
warrant for contempt of court issued by Kingman Justice Court. Stisi was taken
into custody without incident. Stisi was transported and booked into the Mohave
County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Gary Richard Ingrassi, 23, of Kingman,
Sunday (9/25) afternoon for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. At about 12:30
p.m., deputies contacted Ingrassi in the area of Melody Street and Leroy Avenue.
A record check showed Ingrassi to have a misdemeanor warrant for interfering
with judicial proceedings issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court. Ingrassi
was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Samuel Newton Whaley, 39, of Kingman,
Sunday (9/25) afternoon on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. At approximately
1:30 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of London Bridge Road
and Quartzite and contacted Whaley, the driver. A record check Whaley to have a
warrant for failure to appear issued out of Kingman Municipal Court. Whaley was
taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the
Mohave County District III Sub-station.
HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Christina Esquera Cornwell, 48, of
Golden Valley, and Matthew Brian Beem, 29, of Kingman, on Friday (9/23) for the
death of Alex Junior Lackey, 74, of Golden Valley (Please refer to MCSO report
dated 9-21-05 below). Cornwell was arrested for hindering prosecution, a felony.
Beem was arrested for first degree homicide, a felony. Both Cornwell and Beem
face local charges in Pendleton, Oregon. During the course of the investigation,
detectives determined Cornwell and Beem to be suspects. Pendleton Police
Department, acting on information received from the Mohave County Sheriff’s
Office, took Cornwell and Beem into custody on Thursday (9/22) at approximately
6:30 pm. Both Cornwell and Beem will face extradition. This remains under
investigation by MCSO detectives as well as Pendleton Police Department.
Additional charges are pending.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Claude Terrance Gregg, 42, of Kingman,
Thursday (9/22) afternoon for aggravated harassment/domestic violence, a felony.
Approximately 3:00 p.m., deputies responded to a residence in the 4700 block of
Van Nuys Road in reference to a contempt of court. Deputies contacted the
58-year-old female victim and 62-year-old male victim. Both victim's reported
that they have an order of protection against their son, Gregg. The female
victim further reported that Gregg was at her place of employment earlier today
and Gregg was also inside her home today when she arrived. At about 4:00 p.m.,
deputies contacted Gregg in the 3000 block of Butler Avenue. During
conversations with Gregg, he admitted to being at his parent’s residence and he
also knew there was a valid order of protection. Gregg was taken into custody
without incident. Gregg was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tamara Jo Hayden-Devane, 44, of Mohave
Valley, early Thursday (9/22) evening for possession of dangerous drugs,
possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, and driving with suspended license,
a misdemeanor. Deputies observed a black Mazda vehicle traveling northbound on
Highway 95 with a cracked windshield and missing the driver’s side mirror.
Approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies contacted the driver, identified as Hayden-Devane,
after she parked her vehicle in the 4500 block of Highway 95 and went into a
business. A record check showed Hayden-Devane to have a suspended driver’s
license and a misdemeanor warrant for issuing a bad check issued by Bullhead
City Justice Court. Hayden-Devane was taken into custody without incident. A
search of the vehicle revealed a glass pipe and an envelope containing
methamphetamine. Hayden-Devane was transported and booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation. Hayden-Devane was also cited for failure to produce
insurance and expired registration. Hayden-Devane was issued a repair order for
the cracked windshield and the missing driver’s side mirror. The vehicle was
towed from the scene.
WARRANT ARREST – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Levi Ray Esquerra, 35, of Truxton,
early Wednesday (9/21) evening on a felony warrant for possession of drug
paraphernalia issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 5:49 p.m., deputies
responded to a disturbance in the 2400 block of Dugas Road. Deputies contacted
Esquerra where he was hiding inside the residence. During conversations with
Esquerra, he said he was hiding because he has a warrant. A record check
confirmed Esquerra to have an outstanding warrant. Esquerra was taken into
custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
MULTIPLE ARRESTS – OATMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jose Robert Serrano, 21, Samantha May
Dorton, 20, Yovanna Rivera-Jimenez, 29, of Bullhead City, early Wednesday (9/21)
morning. Also, 6 juveniles between the ages of 15 and 17 were arrested. Serrano,
Dorton and Rivera-Jimenez were each arrested for burglary-unlawful entry and
theft, felonies. Dorton was also charged with two misdemeanor warrants for
interfering with judicial proceedings, both issued by Bullhead City Justice
Court. Approximately 12:21 a.m., deputies responded to a suspicious activity
call in Oatman reported by a citizen. While enroute, deputies were informed that
several juveniles gained entry into a business and may have taken items.
Deputies were also informed that the juveniles left in a white Chevrolet
Suburban, the vehicle did not have a license plate, traveling towards Boundary
Cone Road. As deputies were enroute, they observed the vehicle traveling
northbound on Highway 95 in the 5300 block. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on
Highway 95 near Bullhead City Parkway. All of the occupants were ordered out of
the vehicle and taken into custody. Bullhead City Police officers responded and
assisted with detaining the suspects. A search of the vehicle revealed
miscellaneous memorabilia items from a business. Serrano, Dorton and
Rivera-Jimenez were transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation without incident. The juveniles were released to their legal
guardians. Juvenile referrals were sent to Mohave County Juvenile Detention
Facility for the 6 juveniles. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
SEXUAL ASSAULT – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested David Ray Drinkard, 42, of Mohave
Valley, early Tuesday (9/20) evening for sexual assault, a felony. Approximately
12:21 a.m., deputies were contacted by phone regarding a sexual assault. The
reporting party said that his girlfriend had been sexually assaulted at their
residence in the 10000 block of Queens Drive by their roommate, identified as
Drinkard. Deputies and detectives contacted the 19-year-old female victim at
Needles Hospital in California . The victim reported that Drinkard sexually
assault her at their residence. Approximately 6:30 p.m., deputies contacted
Drinkard at his residence and took him into custody. Drinkard was transported
and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation without incident.
HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a missing person last
Wednesday (9/14). A reporting party said that he hadn’t seen his neighbor, Alex
Junior Lackey, 74, of Golden Valley, since Saturday (9/10). The reporting party
further said that he normally speaks with Lackey daily. Deputies determined that
Lackey and his white 1992 Ford Explorer were not at the residence, located in
the 3200 block of Black Rock Road. An ATL (Attempt to Locate) was issued to law
enforcement agencies for Lackey and his vehicle. On Saturday (9/17) Las Vegas
Metropolitan Police Department officers located the vehicle parked in a parking
in Laughlin, Nevada and a deceased body was located inside the vehicle (Please
refer to LVMPD Media Release dated 9-17-05). Immediately Mohave County Sheriff’s
Detectives assisted LVMPD investigation. On Tuesday (9/20) LVMPD along with MCSO
Detectives determined the identity of the body to be Lackey. Mohave County
Sheriff’s Detectives and LVMPD executed a search warrant at the victims’
residence, on Tuesday (9/20), and determined the residence to be the crime
scene. The autopsy was conducted by Clark County and cause of death was
determined to be from gun shot wounds. All further inquiries on this case should
be directed to MCSO. Further investigation is pending.
THEFT OF MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joe Roman Chavez, 66, of Kingman,
Wednesday (9/20) afternoon for theft of means of transportation, a felony, and a
misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear issued by Kingman Municipal Court.
Approximately 2:00 p.m., deputies responded to the 100 block of Emery Park Road
in reference to a recovered stolen vehicle. Deputies contacted the reporting
party. The reporting party said that a company dump truck with a trailer was
reported stolen to Kingman Police Department on Monday (9/19). The reporting
party further said that he observed the vehicle and detained the male driver,
later identified as Chavez. Deputies contacted Chavez. During conversations with
Chavez, he admitted to taking the truck and trailer. A record check showed
Chavez to have an outstanding warrant. The trailer was recovered off of Halite
Road, to the north of Shinarump Drive, where Chavez had left it. Chavez was
taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without
incident.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – DOLAN SPRINGS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jimmy Wayne Easley, 52, of Dolan
Springs, Tuesday (9/20) evening for aggravated assault on a minor/domestic
violence, a felony. Approximately 7:20 p.m., deputies responded to an assault
call in the 15000 block of Edgemont Road and contacted the 13-year-old female
victim. The victim reported she and her dad, Easley, were arguing. The victim
further reported that she touched her fathers back and he turned around and hit
her in the face. Lake Mohave Rancho Fire Department responded and the victim
refused to be transported to the hospital. Deputies contacted a witness and the
witness confirmed the victims’ statements. Deputies contacted Easley. During
conversations with Easley, he said that he felt something on his back; he swung
around and did not mean to hit the victim. Easley was taken into custody,
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident. The victim
was released to her parent.
REWARD – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in identifying
the person or persons involved with setting two fires at the same residence in
the 6100 block of Highway 66 on September 7th and September 8th. The first fire
occurred Wednesday (9/7) afternoon, approximately 2:15 p.m., where the north
side of the residence was on fire. Less than 12 hours later, the second fire
occurred around 2:00 a.m. where the entire residence was engulfed. Hualapai
Valley Fire Department responded to both fires. If anyone has any information,
please contact Mohave County Sheriff’s Office at (800) 522-4312 or Silent
Witness at (888) 227-8780. A reward up to $500.00 has been offered for
information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons
responsible for the fires.
WARRANT ARREST – TRUXTON
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Ronald Edwin Wagoner, 42, of
Kingman, Monday (9/19) afternoon on two felony warrants for possession of
dangerous drugs issued by Kingman Justice Court, failure to appear issued by
Mohave County Superior Court and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines
issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 1:36 p.m., detectives responded
to Byers Road and Highway 66 to assist in a call. Detectives contacted Wagoner
and knew that he had a felony warrant. Wagoner was taken into custody without
incident. A record check confirmed Wagoner to have outstanding warrants. Wagoner
was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail
without incident.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jeanne Ronalda Bruno, 51, of Golden
Valley, Tuesday (9/20) morning for contempt of court/domestic violence, a
misdemeanor. Approximately 8:30 a.m., deputies contacted Bruno in the 4000 block
of Canelo Road on an unrelated incident. Deputies learned that Bruno had an
order of protection against her and that she should not be at the residence.
Bruno was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail
without incident.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – HORIZON SIX
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Neil Leon Barnes, 43, of Lake Havasu
City, early Monday (9/19) afternoon for assault/domestic violence, a
misdemeanor. Approximately 11:46 a.m., deputies responded to the Lake Havasu
Regional Medical Center in reference to a domestic violence incident. Deputies
contacted the 45-year-old female victim. The victim reported that her boyfriend,
Barnes, and she were arguing earlier at their residence located in the 4000
block of Window Rock Road. The victim further reported that Barnes hit her in
her left eye. Deputies observed bruising and swelling to the victims’ eye. At
about 1:03 p.m., deputies contacted Barnes in the 4000 block of Window Rock Road
and took him into custody without incident. Barnes was transported and booked
into the Mohave County District III Substation.
THEFT – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Claude Terrance Gregg, 42, of Kingman,
late Monday (9/19) evening for theft of property, a felony. Approximately 6:25
p.m., deputies responded to a theft report in the 2700 block of Butler Avenue
and contacted the 45-year-old male victim. The victim reported that he and Gregg
were working on a vehicle when Gregg left the residence with his air compressor.
At about 11:44 p.m., deputies contacted Gregg in the 2900 block of Northern
Avenue. During conversations with Gregg, he said the air compressor belonged to
him. Gregg was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County
Jail.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Benny Bedell, 39, of Mohave Valley,
early Friday (9/16) evening for domestic violence/assault and domestic
violence/disorderly conduct, misdemeanors. Approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies
responded to a domestic violence call in the 1900 block of Arditto Place and
contacted the adult female victim. The victim reported that her boyfriend,
Bedell, was arguing with her and he hit her in the face. Deputies contacted a
witness and the witness confirmed the allegations. Deputies contacted Bedell and
took him into custody without incident. Bedell was transported and booked into
the Mohave County District II Substation.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Chris Karl Ahler, 46, of Fort Mohave,
Saturday (9/17) morning on two counts of aggravated assault/domestic violence,
two counts of theft and possession of weapon by prohibited person, all felonies.
Approximately 4:00 p.m., deputies responded to a 911 call in the 4400 block of
Colorado Road and contacted the 31-year-old female victim. The victim reported
that her brother, Ahler, used a stun gun on her repeatedly. The victim said that
Ahler bit her on her face during the struggle. Deputies observed injuries to the
victims’ face and hand. Fort Mohave Medical responded and treated the victim.
The victim further reported that before Ahler left, that he took a .45 caliber
pistol, keys and money from her purse. Deputies contacted a witness and the
witness confirmed the victims’ statements. On Saturday (9/17), at about 10:00
a.m., deputies contacted Ahler in the 4400 block of Colorado Road and took him
into custody without incident. During conversations with Ahler, he admitted to
using the stun gun on the victim, taking the pistol, keys and money. Ahler was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation. The stun
gun and pistol were confiscated.
DRUGS FOR SALE/RESISTING ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested John Alexander Williamson, 43, of Fort
Mohave, late Saturday (9/10) afternoon for possession of drugs for sale,
possession of dangerous drugs, resisting arrest, escape, all felonies, and
driving with suspended driver’s license, a misdemeanor. Approximately 4:15 p.m.,
deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Aztec Road and contacted
Williamson, the driver. A record check showed Williamson’s driver’s license to
be suspended. Williamson was taken into custody. A search of the vehicle
revealed multiple plastic bags containing a white substance which later field
tested positive for methamphetamine. Approximately 2.5 grams of methamphetamine
was confiscated. Williamson became extremely agitated and pushed his way out of
the patrol unit. During the struggle, deputies subdued Williamson. Williamson
was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation without
further incident.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Peter Charles Webber, 21, of Fort
Mohave on Thursday (9/15) evening for possession of drug paraphernalia, a
felony. At approximately 6:00 pm, deputies contacted Webber during a traffic
stop in the 1500 block of Pinion Road. A record check showed Webber to have a
felony warrant for probation violation issued out of Mohave County Superior
Court and two misdemeanor failure to appear warrants issued out of Bullhead
Municipal Court. Webber was taken into custody without incident. Deputies
conducted a search revealed which revealed Webber to be in possession of a glass
pipe commonly used for smoking marijuana. Webber admitted the pipe belonged to
him. Webber was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested David Edward Sells, 41, of Kingman
on Thursday (9/15) afternoon. At approximately 3:00 pm, detectives responded to
a residence in the 3600 block of Northfield Avenue and contacted Sells. A record
check showed Sells to have a felony warrant for failure to appear issued out of
Mohave County Superior Court. Sells was taken into custody without incident.
Sells was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST/HINDERING PROSECUTION – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Thomas Preston Claudio, 25, and
Jessica Laura Florence Jones-Nowlin, 20, both from Kingman, late Wednesday
(9/14) morning. Claudio was arrested on a felony warrant for failure to appear
issued by Mohave County Superior Court and a misdemeanor warrant for a probation
violation issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Jones-Nowlin was arrested for
hindering prosecution, a felony. Deputies learned that Claudio had two
outstanding warrants. Approximately 10:00 a.m., deputies attempted to contact
Claudio at his residence in the 3500 block of Hearne Avenue. Deputies contacted
a female, at the residence, identified as Jones-Nowlin. During conversations
with Jones-Nowlin, she said that Claudio is the father of her baby. Jones-Nowlin
further said that Claudio was not at the residence. Jones-Nowlin would not allow
deputies inside her residence to search for Claudio. Shortly thereafter,
detectives responded to the residence with a search warrant. Deputies entered
the residence and located Claudio lying on a bedroom floor. Claudio and Jones-Nowlin
were taken into custody without incident. Claudio and Jones-Nowlin were
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
FELONIES – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kenneth B. Hopper, 56, of Oran,
Missouri, early Wednesday (9/14) evening for attempt to commit and arson of
structure/property, felonies. Approximately 6:27 p.m., deputies responded to a
truck stop in the 2700 block of Highway 66 in reference to a follow-up on a
previous criminal damage complaint. Deputies contacted the 35-year-old female
victim. The victim reported that on Friday (9/9) she reported an unidentified
male subject had throw lit cigarettes into her parked unoccupied vehicle. The
victim further reported that the same male subject is currently at the business
and that he again threw a lit cigarette into her vehicle. Deputies contacted the
male subject, identified as Hopper. During conversations with Hopper, he
admitted to the allegations. Hopper was taken into custody without incident.
Hopper was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
2 X’S DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Genoveva JoAnn Moreno, 20, of Fort
Mohave, early Thursday (9/14) morning on two counts of possession of drug
paraphernalia, felonies. Approximately 12:05 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic
stop near the 2000 block of Mountain View Lane. Deputies contacted Moreno. A
search of Moreno’s purse revealed a glass pipe and two plastic bags containing
numerous smaller plastic bags. Moreno was taken into custody, transported and
booked into the Mohave County District II Substation without incident. The
vehicle was towed from the scene.
WARNING – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is reminding the pubic to lock their vehicles and
to take their valuables with them. MCSO is encouraging people to take their
valuables out of their vehicle. If items must be left in the vehicle, lock them
in the trunk before you arrive at your destination, as a thief may be watching.
People are less likely to be a victim of a crime when cautionary measures are

DRUGS PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Bonnye Veralynn Corbin, 26, of Mohave
Valley, late Tuesday (9/13) morning for possession of drug paraphernalia, a
felony and three warrants. Approximately 11:00 a.m., deputies contacted Corbin
in the 2100 block of Devlin Avenue on an unrelated incident. A record check
showed Corbin to have three shoplifting warrants, all issued by Kingman Justice
Court. Two of the warrants are misdemeanors and one a felony. A search of
Corbin’s purse revealed a glass pipe. Corbin was taken into custody, transported
and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
SUSPENDED LICENSE/WARRANT ARREST – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kenneth Stanley Chandler, 50, of Lake
Havasu City, early Tuesday (9/13) evening for driving on a suspended license and
a warrant for interfering with judicial proceedings issued by Lake Havasu City
Municipal Court, both misdemeanors. Approximately 5:40 p.m., deputies conducted
a traffic stop on Highway 95 at milepost 184 and contacted Chandler, the driver.
A record check showed Chandler to have an outstanding warrant and a suspended
driver’s license. Chandler was taken into custody, transported and booked into
the Mohave County District III Substation without incident.
DRUGS/DRUGS PARAPHERNALIA – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested James Steven Osuna, 54, of Fort
Mohave, early Wednesday (9/14) morning for possession of dangerous drugs,
possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, and driving with suspended license,
a misdemeanor. Approximately 1:10 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at La
Entrada and Luna Media. Deputies contacted the driver, identified as Osuna. A
record check showed Osuna’s driver’s license to be suspended. Osuna was taken
into custody and a search revealed a plastic bag containing methamphetamine.
Osuna was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation
without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Charles Frederick Rinaldi, 35, of Fort
Mohave, Monday (9/12) evening for disorderly conduct/domestic violence, a
misdemeanor. Approximately 8:44 p.m., deputies responded to a 911 call in the
4400 block of Cielo Azul Drive and contacted the 44-year-old female victim. The
victim reported that her boyfriend, Rinaldi, began yelling and throwing items
around inside the residence. Deputies contacted Rinaldi and took him into
custody. Rinaldi was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation without incident.
DUI – LAKE HAVASU
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Wayne Todd, 47, of Lake Havasu
City, Saturday (9/10) afternoon for DUI-Watercraft, DUI-Watercraft with a blood
alcohol concentration over .08%, and a warrant for contempt of court issued by
Lake Havasu City Municipal Court, all misdemeanors. Approximately 3:45 p.m.,
deputies observed a watercraft traveling south in the Thompson Bay with an
excessive wake. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and contacted Todd, the
operator. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Todd. During conversations with
Todd, he admitted to have been drinking. Todd was taken into custody and
transported to Contact Point where an analysis revealed his blood alcohol
concentration (BAC) to be .145%. He was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District III Substation without incident.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Nicole Daniele Green, 30, of Kingman,
early Friday (9/9) afternoon for possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant
issued by Kingman Justice Court for possession of dangerous and drug
paraphernalia, both felonies. Approximately 1:50 p.m., deputies responded to the
4100 of N Pinal Street in reference to a parked vehicle on private property.
Deputies contacted the woman sitting in the driver’s seat, identified as Green.
A record check showed Green to have an outstanding warrant. Green was taken into
custody without incident. A search of the vehicle revealed syringes. Green was
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from
the scene.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Delorah Lou Altizer, 42, and Brett
Wesley Altizer, 40, both from Kingman, late Friday (9/9) evening. Delorah
Altizer was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug
paraphernalia, felonies, and a misdemeanor warrant for issuing bad check issued
by Kingman Justice Court. Brett Altizer was arrested for possession of dangerous
drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, and a misdemeanor warrant for
contempt of court issued by Kingman Justice Court. As deputies were patrolling a
neighborhood, they observed an open flame fire in a front yard of a home located
in the 3500 block of Thompson Avenue. Approximately 11:30 p.m., deputies
contacted Delorah Altizer and Brett Altizer. A record check showed both of them
to have an outstanding warrant. Brett Altizer was taken into custody without
incident. A search of Brett Altizer revealed a glass pipe with burnt residue and
a plastic bag containing methamphetamine. As deputies were approaching the
residence, they observed Delorah Altizer leaning forward in a parked vehicle
located on the property. A search of the vehicle revealed a plastic bag
containing methamphetamine and a pipe. Delorah Altizer was taken into custody
without incident. During conversations with Delorah Altizer, she admitted the
methamphetamine and pipe belonged to her. Delorah Altizer and Brett Altizer were
transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – DESERT HILLS
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tanya Rae Simon, 22, of Desert Hills,
Saturday (9/10) morning on a misdemeanor warrant for interfering with judicial
proceedings issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court. Approximately 7:30 a.m.,
deputies contacted Simon at a residence in the 3100 block of Michael Drive on an
unrelated incident. A record check showed Simon to have an outstanding warrant.
Simon was taken into custody without incident. Simon was transported and booked
into the Mohave County District III Substation.
SEARCH WARRANT – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Deborah Lynn Hoff, 32, of Mohave
Valley, Friday (9/9) afternoon for sale of dangerous drugs, possession of
dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia,
felonies. The Sheriff’s Office obtained a search warrant as they had received
numerous complaints about drug activity. Approximately 3:15 p.m., Mohave County
Sheriff’s Office deputies and K-9 Unit, Bullhead City Police Department Officers
assisted by MAGNET (Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team) executed a
search warrant in the 600 block of A Street. The K-9 alerted his handler to the
location of where the drugs were located inside the residence. The search
revealed methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Deputies contacted
Hoff and she admitted ownership to the items located. A record check showed Hoff
to have two felonies warrants for probation violation issued by Mohave County
Superior Court and fugitive from justice issued out of Laughlin, Nevada. Hoff
was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County District
II Substation without incident.
SEARCH WARRANT – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Gary John King-Smith, 40, of Mohave
Valley, Friday (9/9) evening for sale of dangerous drugs and possession of drug
paraphernalia, felonies. The Sheriff’s Office obtained a search warrant as they

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested James Patrick Rogers, 34, of Fort
Mohave, Saturday (9/10) night for aggravated assault, resisting arrest, escape,
all felonies and domestic violence/assault/disorderly conduct, misdemeanors.
Approximately 10:00 p.m., deputies responded to a call in the 4400 block of
Sharp Drive and contacted the 29 year-old male victim. The victim stated that
Rogers was at the residence and was intoxicated. The victim reported that Rogers
became upset and hit him in the eye, causing a small laceration, before leaving
the residence. While speaking with the victim, Rogers returned to the residence
and spoke with deputies. When deputies advised Rogers he was being taken into
custody, Rogers became extremely belligerent. Deputies restrained Rogers and
placed him into the patrol unit. A short time later, deputies heard loud
thumping noises coming from the patrol vehicle. Deputies returned and removed
Rogers from the vehicle. As deputies attempted to further restrain Rogers, he
began to resist and attempted to run away. Deputies, along with a good
Samaritan, were able to subdue Rogers. Rogers was placed back into the patrol
vehicle when a short time later he began to kick the inside of the vehicle.
Rogers was further restrained. While enroute to the jail, Rogers continued to be
belligerent while threatening deputies. Rogers was booked into the Mohave County
District II Substation without further incident.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Steven Edward Meyers, 21, of Kingman,
Sunday (9/11) morning. Approximately 2:00 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic
stop on Interstate 40 at milepost 57. A record check showed Meyers to have a
felony warrant for parole violation issued by Department of Corrections. Meyers
was taken into custody without incident. Meyers was transported and booked into
the Mohave County Jail.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Leslie Howard Prenguber, 73, of
Kingman, Saturday (9/10) afternoon for domestic violence/assault, a misdemeanor.
At about 3:30 p.m., deputies responded to a call in the 3800 block of Lass
Avenue. Deputies contacted the 28 year-old female victim who reported that
during a verbal altercation, Prenguber grabbed her arms and threw her onto the
ground. Deputies observed bruising to the victims arms. Deputies contacted
Prenguber who confirmed the incident. Prenguber was taken into custody.
Prenguber was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Wayne Todd, 47, of Lake Havasu
City, Saturday (9/10) evening. Approximately 5:00 p.m., deputies were patrolling
in the area of Thompson Bay and contacted Todd. A record check showed Todd to

on Friday (9/9) for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony. At about 12:30
am, deputies responded to a residence in the 4400 block of Ruby Street and
contacted Do. A record check showed Do to have a felony warrant for probation
violation issued by Mohave County Superior Court. Prior to arrest, a search
revealed a glass pipe located in the bedroom of the residence. Do admitted the
pipe belonged to him. Do was taken into custody without incident. Do was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Sub-station.
CONTEMPT OF COURT – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael John Davis, 22, of Kingman on
Friday (9/9) for domestic violence/interfering with judicial proceedings, a
misdemeanor. At approximately 12:00 am, deputies responded to a call in the 4200
block of Roosevelt Street. Deputies contacted the 22 year-old female victim who
reported that Davis has arrived at the residence and they began to argue. A
record check showed the victim to have a valid order of protection against
Davis. Davis was taken into custody. Davis was transported and booked into the
Mohave County Jail without incident.
WARRANT ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert J. Blankenship Jr., 41, of
Mohave Valley early Thursday (9/8) morning. At about 8:00 am, deputies responded
to a call in the 1700 block of La Entrada Place. While at the residence,
deputies contacted Blankenship. A record check showed Blankenship to have a
misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear issued by Lake Havasu City Justice
Court. Blankenship was taken into custody without incident. Blankenship was
transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Sub-station.
DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joseph Michael Denubilo, 22, of
Kingman, late Wednesday (9/7) morning for possession of dangerous drugs,
possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, and two warrants. Approximately
10:40 a.m., deputies observed a male subject walking at the corner of Leroy
Avenue and Marshall Drive. The male subject was carrying something which
appeared to be a sword. Deputies contacted the male subject, identified as
Denubilo, and determined that Denubilo was carrying a long hand saw and a chain
wrapped around his other hand. During conversations with Denubilo, he said that
he was going to his friend’s house to do some work. A record check showed
Denubilo to have two felony warrants for narcotic drug violation and drug
paraphernalia violation, both issued by Kingman Justice Court on 7-27-05.
Denubilo was taken into custody without incident. A search of Denubilo revealed
a couple plastic bags; one bag had an odor of marijuana and the other bag
contained a white powder substance that field tested positive for
methamphetamine. Denubilo was transported and booked into the Mohave County
Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Andrea Wynette Robinson, 29, of Lake
Havasu City, Tuesday (9/6) afternoon on a felony warrant for theft issued by
Lake Havasu City Justice Court on 8-25-05. Approximately 2:30 p.m., deputies
conducted a traffic stop on Highway 95 at milepost 180 and contacted Robinson,
the driver. A record check showed Robinson to have an outstanding warrant.
Robinson was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County
District III Substation without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
SINGLE-VEHICLE ROLLOVER ACCIDENT – SCENIC (ARIZONA STRIP)
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a single-vehicle rollover on
Sunday (9/4), at about 5:00 a.m., where a 1976 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Travis
Huges, 31, of Bunkerville, Nev., was northbound on County Road 242 (Lime Kill
Canyon Road). The only passenger in the vehicle was Dena Terie Thurgood, 35, of
Mesquite, Nevada. The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and failed
to make a left hand curve turn in the roadway. The driver lost control of the
vehicle and the vehicle went into a skid. The vehicle struck an embankment and
rolled one time. The driver stayed with the vehicle when it rolled. The
passenger was ejected from the vehicle. Mesquite Ambulance responded and
transported Thurgood to Mesa View Hospital in Mesquite, Nevada, and was later
flown to University Medical Center in Las Vegas with back trauma. Thurgood is
listed in fair condition, as of Wednesday (9/7) morning. Huges was treated and
released at the scene. This accident is still under investigation.
RESISTING ARREST – DESERT SPRINGS (ARIZONA STRIP)
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Christopher Reuben Sutton, 34, of
Washington, Utah, Sunday (9/4) afternoon for resisting arrest, a felony, and
possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Approximately 4:50 p.m.,
deputies responded to where a male subject was beating on a pay phone in front
of a medical building. Deputies were also informed that the male subject took a
circuit breaker from the medical center. Deputies contacted the male subject,
identified as Sutton. During conversations with Sutton, he admitted to
unplugging and taking the circuit breaker. Sutton became argumentative and
confrontational toward the deputy. Sutton resisted orders and would not comply
with their commands. Sutton took a step toward the deputy and immediately turned
around and started running, taking about two steps, until the deputy restrained
him and took him into custody. A search of Sutton revealed a metal and wood
pipe. Deputies located the circuit breaker and put it back in the circuit box,
thereby turning on the air conditioner. Sutton was transported and booked into
the Mesquite Jail without further incident.
SINGLE-VEHICLE ROLLOVER ACCIDENT – SCENIC (ARIZONA STRIP)
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a single-vehicle rollover early
Monday (9/5) morning, at about 2:30 a.m., where a 2003 GMC Pickup Truck driven
by Carmelo Nunez, 20, of Scenic, was eastbound on Spring Rain Drive, traveling
with two passengers. Jessica Wunderlich was sitting in the front passenger seat
and Leonel Salazar was riding in the bed of the vehicle. The vehicle was
traveling at a high rate of speed and was approaching a left turn only
intersection at Frehner Road. The vehicle was traveling too fast to make the
turn. The vehicle went into a skid, slid through the intersection and off the
east edge of the roadway and rolled. The driver stayed in the vehicle when it
rolled. Both passengers’ were ejected from the vehicle. Both Wunderlich and
Salazar were taken home by friends. Later, Wunderlich was taken to Mesa View
Hospital in Mesquite, Nevada, and then flown to University Medical Center in Las
Vegas. Wunderlich is listed in critical condition, as of Wednesday (9/7)
morning. Nunez, the driver, refused medical. This accident is still under
investigation.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT/RESISTING ARREST– GOLDEN SHORES
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Roland Eugene Ervin, 45, of Golden
Shores, Friday (9/2) evening for aggravated assault on law enforcement office
and resisting arrest, felonies. Approximately 7:53 p.m., deputies responded to a
disturbance in the 5400 of Huachuca Place and contacted the reporting party. The
report party said that her former boyfriend, Ervin, would not leave her
residence. Deputies contacted Ervin. Ervin would not comply with the deputies
orders. Ervin continued to resist orders as he charged at the deputy. During the
struggle, deputies further restrained Ervin. Ervin was transported and booked
into the Mohave County District II Substation without further incident.
WARRANT ARREST – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Phillip John Rebai III, 23, of Golden
Valley, early Sunday (9/4) morning on a felony warrant for failure to appear
issued by Mohave County Superior Court and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to
appear issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Approximately 12:55 a.m., deputies
conducted a traffic stop in the 3400 block of Bryce Road. Deputies contacted
Rebai. A record check showed Rebai to have outstanding warrants. Rebai was taken
into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without
incident.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/EXTREME DUI – GOLDEN SHORES
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jasper J. Sandoval, 19, and Scott
Michael Payton, 35, both of Golden Shores, early Sunday (9/4) morning. Sandoval
was arrested for criminal damage/domestic violence, a felony. Payton was
arrested for extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .15%, a
misdemeanor. Approximately 2:45 a.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence
call in the 4900 block of Tara Drive. As deputies were nearing the residence,
they observed a Volvo car drive away from the residence. Deputies conducted a
traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted Payton, the driver. Deputies smelled
an odor of alcohol on Payton. During conversations with Payton, he said that his
girlfriend’s son, Sandoval, and he were arguing. The argument escalated when
Sandoval threw a rock and struck the back window of his Volvo, causing the
window to shatter. Sandoval left the scene prior to the deputy’s arrival. Payton
was taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County District II
Substation where an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to
be .172%. He was booked into the jail without incident. Further investigations
led deputy’s to contact Sandoval in the 13000 of Shore Parkway. During
conversations with Sandoval, he admitted to breaking the rear window on the
vehicle. Sandoval was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation without incident.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA/WARRANT ARREST – GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Amanda Lynn Schilber, 19, of Golden
Valley, and Jason Edward Johnson, 25, of Kingman, Sunday (9/4) morning. Schilber
was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony, and a misdemeanor
warrant for failure to appear issued by Kingman Municipal Court on original
charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. Johnson was arrested for failure to
pay fines issued by Kingman Justice Court on original charges of assault and
possession of drug paraphernalia. Approximately 10:20 a.m., deputies responded
to suspicious activity in the 3700 block of Diagonal Way. As deputies were
approaching the residence, they observed a female subject run around the corner
of the residence. Deputies attempted to stop the female subject as she was
walking east on Diagonal Way. The female subject, later identified as Schilber,
threw a purse to the ground as she began running. Deputies stopped Schilber and
deputies recovered the purse. A record check showed Schilber to have an
outstanding warrant. A search of Schilber’s purse revealed a syringe. Schilber
was taken into custody. Deputies contacted Johnson at the residence. A record
check showed Johnson to have an outstanding warrant. Schilber and Johnson were
taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without
incident.
RESISTING ARREST– MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Rosaleen Rua O’Reilly, 70, of Fort
Mohave, early Sunday (9/4) evening for resisting arrest, a felony, and
disorderly conduct/domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Approximately 6:15 p.m.,
deputies responded to a disturbance in the 1600 block of Valencia Road and
contacted O’Reilly. During conversations with O’Reilly, she said that she got
into an argument with her son. Deputies contacted O’Reilly’s son. During
conversations with O’Reilly’s son, he said that she became loud and belligerent
toward him. Further conversations with O’Reilly, she became loud with
profanities toward the deputies. Deputies informed O’Reilly that she was under
arrest. O’Reilly resisted orders and would not comply with their commands.
Deputies further restrained O’Reilly and took her into custody. O’Reilly
complained of a broken arm as a result of being taken into custody. Fort Mohave
Fire Department responded and determined O’Reilly did not have a broken arm and
did not need treatment. O’Reilly was transported and booked into the Mohave
County District II Substation without further incident.
WEAPON OFFENSE – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Erik Gregory McNair, 34, of Fort
Mohave, Sunday (9/4) evening for disorderly conduct with a weapon, a felony. A
juvenile referral for Noe Alcaraz Villa, 17, of Fort Mohave, will be forwarded
to the Mohave County Juvenile Detention Facility. Approximately 10:00 p.m.,
deputies responded to a fight in progress in the 4500 of Cielo Azul Drive. Upon
deputy’s arrival, Fort Mohave Tribal Police Department had eight people detained
at the scene. Deputies detained McNair and Villa. Deputies determined that
McNair and Villa, both acted recklessly with firearms. The two firearms were
confiscated. There were no injuries and no shots fired. McNair was taken into
custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation
without incident. Villa was released to his parents.
WARRANT ARREST – GOLDEN SHORES
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tyler Ray Balli, 41, of Golden Shores,
Monday (9/5) evening on a felony warrant for failure to appear issued out of
Maricopa County Superior Court on original charges of fraud-impersonation.
Approximately 8:30 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle run through a stop sign at
Tule Drive and Golden Shores Parkway. Deputies conducted a traffic stop at
Monarch Street and Golden Shores Parkway and contacted Balli, the driver. A
record check showed Balli to have an outstanding warrant. Balli was taken into
custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation
without incident. Balli was also cited for failure to stop at the stop sign.
WARRANT ARREST – FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Steven Michael Kemp, 22, of Bullhead
City, Monday (9/5) evening on a fugitive from justice felony warrant issued out
of San Bernardino County Superior Court. Approximately 9:00 p.m., deputies
conducted a traffic stop Highway 95 at Camp Mohave and contacted Kemp, the
driver. A record check showed Kemp to have an outstanding warrant. Kemp was
taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County District II
Substation without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
WARRANT ARREST – BEAVER DAM (ARIZONA STRIP)
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jose Emilio Flores, 24, of Desert
Springs, Monday (9/5) afternoon on a felony warrant for possession of marijuana
issued out of Maricopa County Superior Court. Approximately 3:50 p.m., deputies
contacted Flores at Ironwood and Cactus regarding his outstanding warrant.
Flores was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mesquite Jail
without incident.
RECOVERED VEHICLE – BEAVER DAM (ARIZONA STRIP)
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested David Hernandez, 20, of Beaver Dam,
Monday (9/5) afternoon for possession of stolen property, a felony.
Approximately 2:10 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Honda Quad
at milepost 10 which was traveling northbound on Highway 91. Deputies contacted
the driver, Hernandez. A record check of the vehicle identification number
revealed the quad to have been reported stolen out of St. George, Utah. During
conversations with Hernandez, he said that a friend dropped the quad off at his
house earlier that morning. Hernandez was taken into custody, transported and
booked into the Mesquite Jail without incident. The vehicle was towed from the
scene.
WARRANT ARREST – BEAVER DAM (ARIZONA STRIP)
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jayme J. Guse, 25, of Beaver Dam, late
Thursday (9/1) morning on a felony warrant for parole violation issued out of
South Dakota on original charges of forgery. Approximately 11:00 a.m., deputies
contacted Guse in the 3200 block of Old Pioneer Road regarding her outstanding
warrant. Guse was taken into custody without incident. Guse was transported and
booked into the Mesquite Jail.
WARRANT ARREST – MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested John Leon Hutchison, 44, of Mohave
Valley, early Thursday (9/1) afternoon on a felony warrant for theft issued by
Bullhead City Justice Court. Approximately 1:30 p.m., detectives contacted
Hutchison at a residence in the 9500 block of Evans Lane regarding his
outstanding warrant. Hutchison was taken into custody. Hutchison was transported
and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation without incident.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Christopher Scott Berry, 28, of
Kingman, early Thursday (9/1) afternoon on two misdemeanor warrants for contempt
of court issued by Kingman Municipal Court and probation violation issued out of
Maricopa Superior Court. Approximately 1:00 p.m., detectives contacted Berry in
the 3700 block of Stockton Hill Road regarding his outstanding warrant. Berry
was taken into custody. Berry was transported and booked into the Mohave County
Jail without incident.
WARRANT ARREST – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Charles Martin Hopper, 40, of Kingman,
late Thursday (9/1) afternoon on a felony warrant for failure to appear issued
by Mohave County Superior Court. Approximately 4:50 p.m., deputies responded to
a disturbance in the 2700 block of Northfield Avenue. Deputies contacted Hopper.
A record check showed Hopper to have an outstanding warrant. Hopper was taken
into custody. Hopper was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail
without incident.
WARRANT ARREST – CENTENNIAL PARK (ARIZONA STRIP)
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested James Jessop Timpson, 30, of Tempe,
Thursday (9/1) afternoon on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear issued
out of Moccasin Justice Court. Approximately 3:52 p.m., deputies contacted
Timpson at a residence in Centennial Park regarding his outstanding warrant.
Timpson was taken into custody without incident. Timpson was transported and
booked into the Washington County Jail.
WEAPON OFFENSE – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Thomas Allen Sanders, 37, of Kingman,
Thursday (9/1) afternoon for disorderly conduct with a weapon, a felony, and a
misdemeanor warrant for contempt or court issued by Kingman Justice Court on
original charges of disorderly conduct. Approximately 3:04 p.m., deputies
responded to a disturbance in the 4200 block of Mallard Drive. Deputies
contacted a witness. The witness reported that Sanders was holding a 9mm handgun
and fired one round in the kitchen. Deputies observed a bullet hole in the
kitchen wall. Deputies contacted Sanders. A record check showed Sanders to have
an outstanding warrant. Sanders was taken into custody. Sanders was transported
and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident. Deputies confiscated
the handgun.
BURGLARY/THEFT – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested William Stephen Smith Jr., 34, and
Joshua William Schwanke, 21, both from Kingman, Thursday (9/1). Smith was
arrested for two counts of theft, felonies. Schwanke was arrested for burglary,
six counts of theft, and two counts of trafficking in stolen property, felonies.
A search warrant was executed at Smith’s residence on Wednesday on Topeka Road,
between Pate Road and Jan Road. During the search, detectives recovered stolen
items of motorcycles and tools. Detectives contacted inmate Smith and inmate
Schwanke at the Mohave County Jail and charged them with the additional charges.
Further investigation is pending.
SEARCH AND RESCUE – EAST OF BULLHEAD CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Units responded early Thursday (9/1)
morning to two stranded male subjects from Bullhead City. Approximately 1:35
a.m., Bullhead Search and Rescue Units responded to the area of Silver Creek
Road and Highway 68, east of Bullhead City, near Black Mountain where they
located the two subjects and their vehicle. Their vehicle had become stuck in a
mud hole. Search and Rescue Units were able to get the vehicle free and they
escorted them to the main road. Both of the male subjects were in good
condition.
WARRANT ARREST – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Deborah Marie Sloma, 40, of Lake
Havasu City, early Thursday (9/1) morning on a misdemeanor warrant for contempt
of court issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court. Approximately 1:04 a.m.,
deputies conducted a traffic stop on Fremont Drive at Cataract Drive and
contacted Sloma, the driver. A record check showed Sloma to have an outstanding
warrant. Sloma was taken into custody without incident. Sloma was transported
and booked into the Mohave County District III Substation.
WARRANT ARREST – LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Richard Varner, 36, of Lake Havasu
City, early Thursday (9/1) morning on a misdemeanor warrant for
intimidation/stalking issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court. Approximately
2:24 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on North Palo Verde at London
Bridge Road and contacted Varner, the driver. A record check showed Varner to
have an outstanding warrant. Varner was taken into custody without incident.
Varner was transported and booked into the Mohave County District III
Substation.
